I had a good experience. One small point was that the mileage at the time of pickup was listed wrong on the final receipt. I had just driven about a couple hundred miles but it was listed more than a thousand. I think the previous client must not have been registered.Reviewed 26 Apr. 2022

Worst experience ever. They didn’t have the car. And we were moving. They contacted me by text the day before I was supposed to pick it up. I will never use hertz again. Pros:Staff was nice. Process was quick. Car was good. I was 15 minutes late dropping off my car. They gave me a chance to fill the gas and bring it back with no extra charge. Pros:I arrived a few minutes before the time for which I had made my reservation. I waited outside because of Covid regulations, but an employee definitely saw me waiting. A few minutes later, at noon, the staff walked out, locked the door, told me they were closed and that I was too late. They were dismissive and very rude. They seemed to find my situation funny. I ended up walking to another car rental company. After two or three phone calls over a couple of days, and quite some time on hold, I was able to get my money refunded by Hertz. The customer service people I spoke to on the phone were generally helpful and polite.Cons:The reservation app shouldn’t allow people to make reservations close to closing time. I didn’t know, but the app should have told me to arrive earlier when I made the reservation. Employees on site should be trained to be helpful and polite. I will not use that Hertz office again, and I will not recommend it.Reviewed 18 Oct. 2020

Use Hertz, not CarrentalsPros:Hertz was great. It's small, but they all teamed up to get us moving when things were slow.Cons:Carrentals is terrible. You cannot change a thing, ever. If you pay less at Hertz for some reason, Carrentals will not reimburse you. Good luck getting any response from them ever. Use Hertz directly.Reviewed 3 Jan. 2018
