Very quick pickup and drop off. Could have used more instructions on what to do with the keys upon return. Other rental companies had boothes at drop off location. Hertz only has the in airport booth.Reviewed 14 Mar 2025

They gave me an suv with no winter tires during the worst snow storm of the year which is illegal to drive in certain parts of BC. I slid right into a snowbank, had to get towed out, and drove 30km/hr the rest of the way home because it was so bad.Reviewed 19 Jan 2024

Service was great at drop off and pick up. Chosen car was nice sized sedan. My dismay was that I rented a car in BC with Alberta plates. I am from BC, live in Alberta. Alberta drivers in BC are treated with generally more aggression and disrespect. I did call the office and was issued a claim # incase any problems arose. I didn't drive the car very much and was a significant waste of money as I had alot of people to see and things to do. Service was great, I will know going forward to ensure my rental has BC plates. In seven days, almost $400, the car was driven maybe 3hrs total? That makes me sad.Reviewed 27 Sep 2023
