Went to pick up this car and had been told over the phone with Hertz that I could add full coverage for $ 12.00 a day. I spoke to the lady when picking up the car in Omaha and was given a price of $36.00 a day for full coverage When questioned she just said this was an independently owned franchise and that was the price. I took the car with no supplemental insurance and had to ask for a pick up inspection before leaving the airport. They have you there at the airport, late at night with very few options and take advantage. No one to call to extend for two hours after our flight was delayed.Reviewed 6 Sep. 2023

On our return to Omaha, getting from the terminal to the Hertz rental office was very unpleasant and disappointing. Since Hertz, different from all other rental companies, has its office on the first floor of the parking structure, why are we told to go up a set of escalators, pass by all the other rentals, and down another escalator, while carrying all our luggage, to reach the office? Hertz did not honor the rate quoted on Kayak. The final price was considerably higher. Also, it appears their car servicing person cleaned the inside of the windshield with the same rag used to check the oil. Nearly bald tires wew also a concern.Reviewed 29 Oct. 2022
