My experience with hertz was fine. My experience with kayak is what I’m unhappy about. The kayak reservation didn’t go through so hertz had no record of our reservation even though we were provided a reservation number by kayak, so we had to re-reserve and luckily enough we were given A free upgrade for the inconvenience that kayak created for us on our trip.Reviewed 13 Jun. 2024

The price that was quoted was much lower than the price they wanted to charge. When I showed the price that was quoted prior to pickup he said he was going to check with management but he never did. We refused to sign the credit card receipt but he said he was going to try to match the price anyway, Hertz sent us a final receipt via email with a lower price but still higher than what was quoted initially before picking up the car. Another thing is that the sum of all charges in the receipt is lower than the total price in the receipt. The clerk told us it was a computer problem. Hire amount has been booked of twice after the car has been given back and finale invoice has been received. There have been no issues reported from hertz to me after drop off inspection. The customer service said only I have to be patient but did not explain why this happens.Reviewed 13 Jun. 2024

Toyota 4 Runners have got to be the most uncomfortable vehicles I have ever driven. This car was in dire need of a tire balance and rotation. You had to fight it to stay stable in your lane when driving. It also kept having warnings come up that it needed an oil change right after we picked it up. Pick up at Nashville was fine but drop off could have been better with airport signage not being super clear on where to go and no one there to direct where exactly they wanted me to pull in. When someone finally did come, he was hateful because he didn’t like where I pulled into.Reviewed 12 Jun. 2024

Hertz did the usual insurance trick to increase the price from E1480 to E2140. Which is to say that the price YOU gave us did NOT include insurance. The fact that insurance isa going to cost another E700 should be included in your website or theirs. The only alternative offered to us was to take ALL the risk, or pay what we paid (E700) - leaving a E2,500 per event excess, or pay a further E400 (total E1,100) for comprehensive cover.Reviewed 12 Jun. 2024

A rep called me from the initial pickup location (Marriott on Rampart, LV) the day before and informed me there were no cars, and that I had to find a place with a car by calling the res number. A car was found 12 miles away - which wasn't too bad - but I was charged more for it because of the pickup location change, of which I had nothing to do with. Everyone tells me a different story on who to call to get that rectified. And the Centennial location JUST happened to have ONE car available, and only because I got there just after they opened. This is not the first time, even as a Gold member, these locations did not have a car, despite weeks-ahead reservations. And it's not the first time I was asked to do a job that was clearly a rep's job, not mine. And, it's not the first time I had to spend time getting a payment amount squared. Hertz, like a few other car rental organizations, need to make their processes AT LEAST acceptable.Reviewed 11 Jun. 2024
