We picked up a car in Marseille and dropped it off in Nice. At both locations the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We also got an unexpected upgrade and the whole process was very smooth. We will definitely use Sixt again next time we are in France.

The car was dirty, it has been rattling my whole trip so it’s very noisy and when I went an hour out of my way to try to exchange it they would not help me and told me to call the 800 number which was in French and didn’t recognize my booking code. Very frustrating. Will never use them again as I paid a lot of money and got a lesser car then was promised.

The drop-off at the Nice train station was difficult. Not well marked and the garage was a not easy to drive in. You then have to go across to a different building (garage also not well marked or instructed) to return the keys. The person there also neglected to mention the $20Euro service fee to fill up gas.

Wonderful experience. We especially appreciated Adel who took care of us both on pick up and drop off. He was incredibly welcoming and funny. And he even gave our daughter a welcome to Marseille gift bag with a coloring book and pencils. Perfect service.

Easy in and out, nice car, could have used a little more time and explanation of the car’s quirks-in particular, how to turn off the annoying beeps if the car exceeded the speed limit on the signs it read. Turns out that it read EVERYTHING, including signs meant only for trucks, that were valid only when schools were in session, speeds on off-ramps that we didn’t take, and so on!

Happened to come in while other customers were picking up their vehicles. Had to wait 35 minutes. Staff also asked about fuel level as car was not full and were going to charge. Fortunately I had taken picture of fuel level and was returning with level above the one I picked it up from. Resulted in no charge because I took picture.

I’m disappointed. I thought that I was booking through you guys but then it rerouted me to qeeq.com and the car rental was rent scape. They made me give deposit of €1300 and when I got the car it was completely scratched and dented and chips in the glass as well. I realized right away that this is going to be a scam. Blame me for the scratches and then keep my deposit, so I cancelled the rental agreement and didn’t take the car. I did a review on Rentscape and it confirmed what I was worried about. 1 Star and people are saying that they charged them for fuel even though they gave it back filled up. They also blame you for making scratches and keep your deposit. Why I m frustrated is that I had to run around and fight to get my deposit and my money back for the rental.

Car was decent, a little old but not bad. They were friendly and helpful and picked me up at the airport right away when I called. They did not send me the vehicle inspection and contract like they said they would when I picked up the car however when I dropped it off the guy was very helpful and sent it then. We did the car walk through together and had no issues.

Very poor experience. The petrol was only filled 50% despite booking a full tank. The oil light came on twice and we have to return to the airport where we rented it from. The windscreen was cracked. There was no indication as to where we needed to drop the car and it took us over an hour to find the right place.
