7.1 Good
Pros: Great customer service. Always clean and welcoming.
Cons: I’ve stayed at the Arista for the past 6 years for business. It appears that the rooms need to be updated. The bed had a rip in the headboard. The shower tile grout was dirty.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and clean rooms!
4.0 Okay
Cons: The air unit was very noisy, and guests of the hotel were slamming doors and yelling until 2am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location to activities
Cons: The difference of bill given when left and what was actually taken out when cleared bank. Will be calling to find out what is going on!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view, and how close it was to shopping and restaurants
Cons: No refrigerator or microwave in room. Called to ask if they had any and they did not so our food was basically thrown out
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, view and staff great pillows
Cons: bedside lights were both dim AND glaring wallpaper beneath window was peeling no microwave or fridge room was generally unattractive price for water and 'amenities' fee
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this place! Has easy walking access to incredible restaurants and shopping and a nice river walkway. The rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make you feel at home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Really helpful staff.
Cons: Not cheap but worth it.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: This was a great location. Very confident to nice restaurants, a nice stroll along the river, shopping (mostly for my wife - not a many options for men), and fairly easy access to Chicago.
Cons: Interestingly, for a nice hotel, there was no mini-fridge in the room and the ice container was not big enough to keep more than one beverage cool. We brought a few of our own beverages and put them with ice in the bathroom sink to keep them cool. Otherwise, very friendly staff and clean facilities.
5.0 Okay
Pros: We really enjoyed the location. This is the second time we have stayed for our anniversary. We really like that everything is within walking distance good restaurants, shopping and night life.
Cons: We were very disappointed we stayed in room 405 a couple floors above event room. The party went on late into the night. We could hear the music in our room. There was also large groups of people gathered in the hallway laughing and being very loud. Also there was a lot of doors slamming as though someone was arguing. We worried a fight might break out. We will have to consider staying somewhere else next year. We were up late due to all the noise and overslept. We were unable to take advantage of our breakfast vouchers. Which were including for what we paid I feel cheated.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: everything was good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a gorgeous room. So warm and cozy and beautiful.
Cons: Walls were very thin. Could hear everything next door.

Pros: The location was great. We left prior to breakfast being served.
Cons: The pullout bed was broken. The staff was very prompt and kind in responding, and was eventually able to dislodge it, however, the bed was unstable. The part that was the most disappointing was the pullout mattress - it was like sleeping on the springs only - zero cushion, and extremely uncomfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good facilities, clean and comfortable. Helpful staff.
Cons: Need to install a sign to indicate entrance to both Townplace and Fairfield parking lot. Missed it twice and I've been there before.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very nice, lots of choices and everything was stocked and fresh. Very polite staff, room was clean, bed was comfortable. I wasn't in my room that much so I didn't use all of the facilities but my room had a large fridge and kitchen area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable; we slept so well. The bedrooms were spacious and up to date looking, very nice. Also, the staff was very friendly and professional. When we were loading our car to leave they offered me an umbrella because it was storming outside-nice touch :).
Cons: The only real problem we had was with the wifi, my son had brought his game system so we could watch Netflix, Hulu and so forth. The wifi kept stopping on us and we were not always able to use it as we expected. Also, I was a little bummed that the kitchen didn't have an oven (because I have been used to that with these kind of suites) but that was really minor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, great staff, comfortable room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing; cheerful and ever ready to help point us to the riverwalk and all the restaurants. The location of the hotel was perfect. The room gave us space. The pool was a bit small but I was the only one swimming so it worked. When I called the front desk from the swimming area, there was too much static so I hung up. The staff came immediately to the pool to see what I needed and to be sure I was ok. On the ball!
Cons: When we made our reservation online, the reservation was recorded under the name "Banks" and that is not our first or last name. The staff worked with us via phone to find the reservation; it was a little confusing, frustrating and irritating at first, but it ended well.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: room was large and airconditioner worked very well.
Cons: the breakfast was basic and not to my liking
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was fine for what we had to do. It was not special. We did not enjoy the breakfast but it seemed others most certainly did. There was hot coffee! Always good in my book.
Cons: It was fine.

Pros: The room was very nice. Loved having separate bedrooms a kitchen and living room!
Cons: The halls smell of weird food people cook.

7.0 Good
Pros: Price
Cons: The sheets smelled of chlorine and body odor. They had clearly not been washed before we arrived. We had the staff change the sheets.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing. Ended up booking a room at another hotel. 1st room was a smoking room. Next option only had 1 bed and a pullout, this was not much better. Room was not clean. The door safety latch was loose...screws about to come out. I would not recommend.
Cons: Everything! I requested a 2 bed room, but the only 2 bed room available was smoking. This place was disgusting. The nonsmoking rooms used to be smoking rooms because the paint on the walls was yellowed and it still smelled. I was very disappointed so left

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Room looked as if it had been recently remodeled.

The staff are always friendly and professional, after a long a trip it's nice to see a smile. Breakfast is delicious. Pet friendly!! Highly recommend this place.... will stay here in the future.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Buffet was amazing
Cons: Some crazy customers arguing with the front desk employee
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was about the best part for us. I had a conference to attend so my wife was close enough to Hmart and a couple other places she could walk to. The breakfast wasn't bad, but the gravy tasted like it came from a can (not saying it did) and the bacon tasted like paper, so I couldn't eat either of those. The staff was very friendly. My wife and I don't share a blanket so they gave us an extra one. They were also able to provide a crib for our little one.
Cons: The bacon and the gravy were nasty. But, my wife liked the gravy, so it may have been just me. However, I cook my own gravy so it's hard to beat anyway. I guess you have to bring your own clothes washing detergent if you're going to use their laundry facility. I suggest putting in a machine where I can buy a box of soap and a fabric softener. The rooms were super small. This is not a suggested hotel for more than two people in a room especially if any of them are children. We had an 11-month old with us and she didn't even have room to crawl around. There is actually no place at all for children to play in this hotel. Not family-friendly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, clean, nice breakfast. Very quiet
Cons: Beds were very hard and pillows were terrible
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was good for my needs.
Cons: The bed was really uncomfortable.

Pros: There was tea available at any time of day or night. Since they didn't have enough of local TV channels, at least they didn't have the E! Entertainment channel. Extra outlets on the nightstand available by the bed. They had Lipton teabags, no lemon juice.
Cons: No microwave oven. No fridge.Housekeeping staff ignored privacy please sign. Too much noise outside my room door. No Continental breakfast. Way too many drunk people in the parking lot. WiFi was terrible - kept going out- better service @ Extended Stay.

Pros: Liked the night-light feature on the switch plate in the bathroom. It saved turning on a big light but still showed the way.
Cons: Wish there was a ramp to the lobby instead of a step. It is hard to pull a roller up the stairs.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The price of the room.
Cons: Worst experience I've had at any hotel I've been to. There were people chasing each other trying to fight. There were a few people out by their door smoking dope. To be honest I didn't feel safe while I was there that night. I didn't get much sleep.

5.7 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good (free!) and I liked the selection. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, especially free WiFi. The staff was very nice and helpful! Great for those on a budget.
Cons: I was excited about the fitness center, but disappointed to find that it only consisted of a treadmill and exercise bike. The bike was broken and the treadmill's belt slipped so I couldn't run very fast because it was scary. Plus, I think the air conditioner was broken in that room so it was very uncomfortable to run. The air conditioner in our room worked great, but was very loud and woke us up a few times throughout the night. The location was tricky to find, and pretty far out from the city. Otherwise, it was a fine quick stay for business and I liked the price.
7.7 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Noting
Cons: No shampoo or lotion, soap as the size of small Hershey chocolate piece, no power outlets at desk.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: The free high-speed internet is actually free and high speed. All you have to do for access is call the front desk and they give you the password. From my room I could also see five routers, so every room has a good connection.
Cons: The guy who checked in before me came back in because he was given a room that was occupied. When you sign in at the front desk they take your name, photocopy your drivers license, and have you write down your car's licence plate so they know who you are, a fairly standard practice, but handwritten at the bottom they also have "No guests, No visitors" I'm in town to visit friends and hang out, and they want us to tell my friends "Hey you can't come over to my hotel before we do anything, you're not allowed to be here." So my friend parked across the street to avoid getting towed. The trip was planned earlier that day, and I didn't care where I stayed. Apparently I should have. One of the first things we noticed when we got in our room was a sticker on the side of the television. It was a price sticker from Goodwill for $2.00. There was mouse poop in the side table where the bible is at. The bathroom was covered in hair and the drain for the shower was.... questionably functional, and missing a cover. The desk and TV stand are very old and half their handles have broken off. We're also not sure if there was a hidden camera on the front of the TV either, and spent about an hour trying to figure out if the little black bubble on the front of the TV was to receive the remote inputs for the cable box or if it was a tiny camera recording us. The room has very oddly placed power outlets. There's one behind the bed, one on the floor by the AC//Heating unit, and two in the far corner by the sink. I tried to plug my computer into one of the corner outlets and it blew the fuse. There weren't very many other people staying here, even for a Friday. Which is very fortunate considering how loud it is when someone else flushes their toilet. It doesn't seem to matter what room the other person is in, the sound just comes through and fills the whole room with overpowering noise. And despite how hard the water struggles to get through the pipes, the toilets still don't flush that well. The only thing I brought up when I was checking out was the mouse poop in the side table. The guy at the counter wasn't shocked, didn't care and all he said was "Okay." Nothing about getting it taken care of, nothing about them being so sorry that our room had rodent faeces in it. Nothing. The whole experience made me feel uneasy, especially the fact that our room may well have been bugged. I've been checking my account since I left just in case they try to charge me extra for something. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to claim that I damaged something so they can charge my card again. I would have checked my balance to make sure they didn't already charge me more while I was there, but based on how sleazy the whole place felt to me at that point I wasn't sure they weren't giving the free Wifi so they can monitor web traffic. TL-DR: You're probably being watched, mouse poop, no friends allowed.over, bad utilities, broken furniture, might have roommates.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It was a good location for my purposes. There's a hotel down the street from them that I like and have used before, but they were booked. So I had to get a room at this place.
Cons: I made a reservation the day before and requested that I be able to check in at 10am. I later received an email saying that they would make no attempt to accommodate me and that check in time was 2pm. I arrived there at 11 am and was informed that they could give me a room, but it would cost me an extra $20. I needed the room then, so I felt I had no choice but to pay. When I got in the room, half the lights didn't work and the bathroom was dirty. The toilet clearly had not been cleaned at all.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: The clerk at the desk was very polite and gave me a 20% discount on my room after we showed her pictures of our room. I felt it should have been more but that was her offer.
Cons: The room was rundown and outdated. It was filthy, the bedspread when we pulled it back was moldy and gross. We had hand towels only to dry off with. Just not a pleasant stay. We would have went elsewhere but it was late when we checked in so just slept with sheets on and left early. Would NOT recommend this place.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Place is a disappointment. Took 30 minutes to check in, they were not busy at all just didnt know what they were doing and no place for me or my daughter to sit. They over charged me the quoted price, only a penny but still. One of the beds did not even have a comforter on it. The ac just plain sucks, setting it to 60 degrees and we are both sweating.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Coffee
Cons: Smoke alarm kept chirping. Guy said to remove battery. There was a stinkbug in the bathroom.

Pros: Cost
Cons: Possibly the worst mattress I have ever slept on, I did not specifically ask for a cooking utensil when I asked for a pot so I did not get one, the "breakfast" houds were not posted any where or communicated at all.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location is good.
Cons: The tub wouldn't stop up to take a bath. There was a towel from a previous guest still in the bathroom. There was pop tart crumbs in the bed from a previous guest. I reserved a smoking room but there were none available and I had paid in advance. Only 3 pillows were on the bed for 2 people. During check in the front desk attendant was cursing and was very unprofessional. The TV service is terrible.
