I DID NOT GET A CAR. !! At least not from National. They told me they had no record of my payment online on their end. I paid ahead with klarna. I will say, there was a manager, FERNANDO, who ran around and called other places to find me a car. I had to ride share to a second location ( different company ( enterprise). I had to rent all over, so basically double paid. I don’t see any refund from klarna as of yet. I have previously rented with kayak and no problem. Just gave the credit card $300 dep. Big headache. No more National. They just kept saying don’t use 3rd party companies. I use Expedia regularly with no problem and have used kayak as well. It makes no sense. Now I need to get the charge off of my klarna account!!!Reviewed 20 Aug 2025

I was at ORF which was out of cars. I booked a car at nearby Newport News, loaded the family into a Lyft, and took a $70 ride up. Upon arrival I was told they have no cars. Stranded. Seems easier to track inventory than that.Reviewed 18 Jul 2025
