Only here for one night, and for us it was all about price and location. Easy walk to parliament, by ward market, museums. Surrounded by great places to eat.
Needed more elevators. Parking was a bit far for added cost.
Good price for the location. Basic but it was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable.
No working internet or phones or fitness center
The staff is very professional
When I arrived the fitness center the phones and internet in the the rooms wasn’t working and so my ability to work from the hotel was crippled.
Too much street noise. Shower curtain smelled.
Great location and parking
Its a bit old now. Rooms are out dated and smell like grandmothers house. Bathroom from the 80's and water pressure like an asthmatic smoker blowing water at you through a straw. For $200 a night you expect more.
I did not hear any noise from my neighbors. I slept really well.
During my checkin, the staff was somehow indifferent to me. But during the checkout, another staff at that time was very nice to me.
Location, staff were nice
It is dated and could upgrades. Carpet was not the cleanest, but overall I would say it is just ok.
Room tatty tv didn't work moved room after much confusion would not stay again
In an age where preserving our environment is important, they kept replacing soap bars that were used once. On a side note, don't ask to settle your bill the night before for an early departure. Every excuse under the planet.
Questionable quality but good location
I loved being only a couple blocks from Parliament, numerous restaurants and cafes.
When I arrived, they gave me the wrong room (I booked a basic room and they gave me a room with a kitchenette). When they realized they'd upgraded me and I was staying three nights, they immediately downgraded me. I had already unpacked a little, had to repack, return to the lobby (at 2 am), and get a second room. Room number 2 had a king size bed that I wish I could post pictures of. The mattress was literally V shaped, as though an elephant had slept in the middle prior to my visit. Further, it didn't have a fitted sheet - just a flat sheet that barely covered the top, exposing an offer looking, striped mattress, ew. I eventually complained and was given a third, nicer room. So, I packed my things a second time, and went up and down returning/exchanging keys. I'd note that the woman working the morning I complained was absolutely terrible. I showed her the pictures I'd taken of the bed, which I'll eventually post on yelp, and she merely played dumb. I was not happy with the comfort or service at this hotel.
Excellent location with reasonable price
Location and price
Great location, Okay room
Bus stop right out front across the street, easy to get to anywhere in the city, we were able to walk to a couple museums as well as the canal for winterlude activities. We only stayed for one night and had a very jammed packed weekend so really only checked in, left came back to sleep then checked out when we woke up in the morning. They have underground paid parking across the street but it is a free service on the weekend so that was a plus!
ceiling paint was cracking, bathroom very small and outdated, as well as some apparent damages to the door (chipping paint etc). Whole floor smelled strongly of cleaning supplies (harsh not nice) and also the air was so dry we both woke up with very sore throats.
