The hotel was recently renovated according to some travelers who had been there in the past, but you could definitely tell some corners were cut in that process. I was totally fine as a solo traveler, but it might not be my choice if returning to Palm Springs with someone who has a picker eye.
Location and pool area.
Parking is minimal and it’s time to replace the carpet throughout the hotel. Plumbing needed fixing.
Location was perfect. Staff was really friendly.
Cleanliness of the common areas could have been a bit better.
Nice fire pits. Right in downtown.
Walls were very thin. Can hear guest walking past as if they were in your room. Shampoo and soaps were attached to the wall.
Lack of facilities, and breakfast not on site and very basic.
I liked the pool, jacuzzi and fire pit. The area was relaxing and well maintained and open in the morning and evening so you could enjoy it. The location is prime, just a block from the shops and clubs. The staff let me keep my car parked for a few hours after check out and they kept a bag for me for a few hours. The staff were friendly.
The room smelled moldy and musty and there were a few ants on the floor and ceiling.
Great location, easy to find and walk anywhere. Huge rooms, pool hot tub (under construction but looks like it will be nice).
The room was a little unclean, not bad but not awesome. It looked like when they came to clean they only made the beds. Things are a little out dated but the price and location make it worth it!
Ok. Wish they didn't have resort fee
Beware of the $20 resort fee. It allows them to advertise their rooms for less. It's BS.
Front desk was rude
There was a huge cockroach !!!!!
Location was the best. Never used the car, which is good because parking was a challenge unless you're willing to walk a bit.
Not enough parking in the premises. Fitness equipment is not at the hotel but over a mile away. You don't get breakfast. I don't call coffee and toast continental breakfast. That's all you get, oh and orange juice. Plus you have to walk to Rudy s Diner for it.
The Palm Mountain Resort & Spa was in a central location and is within walking distance of shopping, dining, and night life. The room was spacious and we had a great view of the pool area.
The continental breakfast included only orange juice, coffee, and a choice of a bread selection.
The bed was comfortable, walking distance to downtown, very casual rules at the pool.
We had no shampoo/ conditioner, lotion, and ice machine was out a lot.
