Pros: I stayed at Villa Soro for 4 nights. The main building is elegant with a very warm atmosphere. I had a corner room on the first floor of the newer building which had it owns semi-private outdoor space. Both were nice. The bedroom and bathroom were of good size and quite utilitarian. The newer house has no street noise, though the area is sufficiently quiet that I would be surprised if the original house is affected by traffic noise. The staff is very polite and helpful.
I chose to stay at the Villa as I thought I might find interesting people with whom to talk. Breakfast seemed like an obvious time but the bar is actually pretty lively at night. My wish was fulfilled. Members of The Morgan Motor Club were there with their glorious convertibles (British racing green, of course) and there were 2 architects from Stockholm on their way to Bilbao.

Pros: The stay was short but one of the best experience. This is a true upscale Hotel with everything you would expect from it. May be the only one in San Sebastian where you can park your car and walk to the very heart of the city in just 20 minutes. I will come again to Villa Soro, for sure.

Pros: We used the hotel as a stopover on our way to Portugal. The hotel is very easy to find and has a secured parking. Several restaurants etc. are within walking distance of the hotel.
