Pros: All good except as stated below. Restaurant excellent.
Cons: This is the second time I have booked this hotel online using this facility. The first occasion my reservation was made for the day before I arrived in spite of my confirmation showing the dates I booked. On this occasion the hotel had not been notified of my reservation and therefore had no record of me. This is not acceptable after a six hour journey to get there and find there is no room.

4.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The radiator would not switch off so it was like an oven. Everything is really dated. Bed was really uncomfortable. Only access is through the bar which is poor. The car park was a drive all the way round town to get in. Tried to charge me for 20 quids worth of drink I didn't have. Just a really bad experience and a total let down.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location good and the breakfast was good
Cons: Only comment really was that the price was at the High end £75 would have been more like the average for the type of hotel - however must note there isn't a surplus of competition.. Oh did get woken early by the stall holders setting up the market outside!

Pros: Friendly hosts and a lovely cottage.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: The room was exceptionally small, bathroom had mould around the shower, couldn’t clean teeth because the basin was so small and a shelf overhung it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, I just like everything. And the owners are absolutly lovely !
6.8 Good
Pros: Comfy bed and cosy room.
Cons: The TV didn't have sound. I reported it night 1 and was assured it was working however it still did not work.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was definitely quirky with lots of character. The owners were very nice and the room was very clean.
Cons: The parking was far from satisfactory and i ended up parking in the street the Saturday night we stayed, (fortunately the parking restrictions don't apply on a Sunday), otherwise you would have to get up early to play shuffle the cars around. Unfortunately our room was right at the top which my wife struggled with. We had to have the small window open as it was very warm and stuffy (outside it was only 20oc but a fan was provided), which meant that it was very noisy with the traffic going by. Overall we were quite disappointed and glad to be only staying the one night. My son who had a smaller room at the back said his room was much quieter and cooler, but he had to wait for people to leave before he could get his car out, as he was boxed in.

3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Everything
5.0 Okay
Pros: A nice view of the river.
Cons: To check-in you have to walk through the pub with all your luggage, very intimidating when people have been drinking! Location is next to a busy road, noisy all night.
4.3 Okay
Pros: They don't do breakfast
Cons: The bedroom door was difficult to open. The shower was scalding and could not be regulated so wasn't able to be used. Lack of towels.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice staff.
Cons: Basic accommodation. Tired, Grubby throughout. Squeaky bed with thin mattress. Stained toilet was very unpleasant.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Nice location.
Cons: No.breakfast at a B&B. It was a bit rough and ready with a very small bedroom a d no view.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good food, friendly staff, easy to find
Cons: Restrictive checking in time
4.3 Okay
Pros: nothing not at all.
Cons: the bed linen was not fresh dirty towels generally very dirty
6.8 Good
Pros: Very helpful and accommadating staff over the phone, allowing an early check in. Only saw one person who gave us our keys. Hotel at the side of a river and nice to sit out and have a drink. Restaurant available for lunch and dinner but did not use.
Cons: The rooms general cleanliness was bad. Kettle, dirty with water left in, cobwebs and dust at floor corners of room. Mirror covered in smear marks. Shower screen and surround needed a good scrub as well as the bin. The window in room 7 is ceiling to floor and looks out on to the street. It needs a net curtain over the lower half, as you can be seen in the room from outside. We had to have the roller blind down all the time.
7.5 Good
Pros: Do not provide breakfast but the evening meal was excellent. The room was adequate for our needs and the bar and restaurant were both clean. Not very busy and the man in charge was quite pleasant and provided as many tea bags and pots of milk as we required.
Cons: The tap in the bathroom was too big for the sink and we had difficulty getting water into the kettle. One of the beds squeaked rather loudly at every move and no amount of moving it rectified the problem ( Note to self: take ear plugs if in same room again)
