Cons: Introduce more variety into your breakfast
10.0 Excellent

Cons: no car parking which was akward arriving at the night time to completly stange city and searching for space
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast
5.4 Okay
Pros: No parking there
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel was close to the centre of Birmingham and the room had a definite theme. The breakfast in the morning was great and it had good drinks facilities through the day.
Cons: I found the lifts difficult to use, they're key card activated but temperamental - I suppose this is necessary given the layout of the hotel. I feel the room should have a two seater sofa rather than the single chair which seems odd to me. There were no instructions for the aircon in the room, I found no way to turn it off, so the humming did keep me awake.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff who were willing to help no matter what you needed! Even when we left our key by accident! Breakfast was amazing and was able to wait in lounge when our travel was delayed with free teas and coffee!
8.8 Excellent

Pros: The size of the suite was large enough; the reception area was very comfortable and large; and the location was at the heart of the city centre. Will recommend it !
Cons: 1- no parking, but a good thing the hotel provides a good price for a public parking (10 GBP per day, instead of 22 GBP) 5 minutes walking distance.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: very well-equipped and comfortable room. the lounge (lobby) was spacious and free to use for my friends who did not stay with me.
Cons: hope breakfast has more variety

Pros: Great use of space to include good kitchen facilities and comfortable living/sleeping space. Fantastic price.
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was tidy, clean and comfortable. The hotel was right near the Bull Ring and the O2 Institute where I was attending an event on the evening I stayed.
Cons: Breakfast was included in the price I paid for my room, but if you're booking with it not included and thinking about adding it, I would suggest not bothering, it's not worth the extra money in my opinion.
7.1 Good
Pros: It was a decent property.
Cons: The pictures showed a bath in the bathroom. That’s the major reason I booed it. Got in and discovered a shower. Also the design of the room in the pictures are quite different from what’s in there. Wasn’t very happy with my stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. I will be returning soon.
Cons: Price was abit much
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Food was fresh and well presented. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: The reception staff was very rude. Unhelpful and totally spoilt our stay. We did not know that 16 year olds were not allowed to stay in a room on their own. As stated on their website. The receptionist did not help find a solution but just kept blaming us that we had misread the info. She made us feel very unwelcome and it was only due to a different duty manager who sort things out, that we did stay. However the children could not use any of the facilities as they were not 18. Not a good experience at all
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff where polite and their was a lot for us to do at the resort we especially enjoyed the spa at the hotel.
Cons: I was happy with the experience however if i had to critique anything they should alow us to do a late checkout on the weekend.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The spa is incredible, the jacuzzi being outside is amazing and the hot stone beds are so relaxing. Beds are huge, TV was massive for some chill time. Stocked free minibar is a nice touch in the superior rooms. I loved the room and the location is fab for doing a little outlet shopping, cinema, good food and cocktails. It was the best birthday!
Cons: The pillows are quite hard in the room, could do with softer options in the wardrobe like other hotels I've stayed in. Otherwise everything was lovely.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Noise waken me up at 4am . Toilet door not locking Window opens all way 4 stores up (death trap) Spa not open even after asking before booking. Not being told about discounts

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, right on the canal, next to the Mailbox. Close to all the local restaurants, bars and shops. Only a 5-10 minute walk from New Street Station. Most importantly, the bed was really comfy as were the pillows
Cons: When we checked in we got offered an upgrade for a small additional amount, that would give us a Superior room with a Nespresso machine, dressing gowns, Sky TV. So we paid the extra. Unfortunately there should have been 4 Nespresso pods in the pod holder and there were only 3. And of those 3 one of them was badly mangled so it wasn't usable. That only left us with 2 pods, one of which was a decaf - no thank you! It was the lure of the Nespresso machine that made us pay the extra, we need not have bothered as we ended up with one espresso between us :(
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent customer service. We paid for an upgrade as we had arrived early and the room we had was superb. Excellent location for entertainment and also to visit the shopping areas.
Cons: Our room was on the 5th floor and we arrived at 1pm, There was crockery, glasses and cutlery left outside 3-4 rooms that should have been removed. The same was applicable on the Sunday morning. Guests should either leave these in their rooms or the staff should clear them instantly as it can give a bad impression.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. Rooms were good, we had 2 cocktails from the bar which were nice.
Cons: Bathroom sink didn’t drain away very well. Saturday evening lots of noise.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice modern room
Cons: I upgraded to a river view, it was not exactly a river view, only a bit. The bed was so uncomfortable and creaked every time you moved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent
7.1 Good
Pros: I liked the overall design / aesthetic of the hotel. Plus a great Italian Bar man, polite, charming, professional thumbs up
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows dreadful and the lighting in the bedroom, I wanted a bit of ambience but ceiling bright spotlight remains on with under shelving lighting ??? I was shocked to hear from the staff that there was only filter coffee available as coffee machine broken ?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view toward the canal was great. Many good restaurants nearby. Spoilt for choice. Tesco & Starbucks is just next door. The AC Hotel staffs is just excellent and welcoming.
Cons: The breakfast. Ask for a over easy egg and the waitress perfectly understand but the chef couldn't do a easy over egg properly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location, very clean and lovely breakfast. Staff super helpful.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve stayed here on numerous occasions and will continue to do so. The hosts and housekeeper are so friendly and accommodating, the house is beautiful, the rooms extremely comfortable and spacious, Debbie’s breakfast is amazing and she even puts up with us being half hour late for it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting, great size room, well laid out and clean
Cons: Unfortunately there were no tea bags in the room and only two mugs with 4 of us staying but this wasn't a problem as we managed to locate some in the kitchen
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent professional & friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Throughly enjoy our stay here, can’t wait to come back. Room was beautifully decorated & very clean. Debbie & Kevin we’re both extremely friendly & made us feel very welcome, as did all the staff & other members of the club. We did the clay pigeon shooting, which is very addictive. Again the instructors are very friendly & knowledgable. Even though we missed more than we hit we had the best day ever. Thank you to all the staff.
7.1 Good
Pros: The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. The house itself is absolutely lovely.
Cons: Unfortunately, unbeknownst to us when we booked or arrived, there was a ‘gig’ at the shooting lodge that evening. We gave up trying to get our 5 year old to sleep and had to let her stay up until it finished near midnight, as it was so loud . After a busy day at Drayton Manor, this was not what we had in mind. The owners were very apologetic the next morning and gave us a discount, which was very kind.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!

6.7 Good
Pros: Our family pet could join us.
Cons: Breakfast service; the first day it took 22 minutes to be offered a hot drink and when the cup and saucer arrived there was a chunk out of the saucer.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Was ideal area for sight seeing, bars and restaurants. My partner is a massive Black Sabbath fan so being near to the bridge was an extra bonus for him.
Cons: That there were two lifts out of order at the time we visited. We waited for 10 mins on a couple of occasions as the ones that were working were full. We couldn't walk down the stairs as we were on the 10th floor so think it was a bit of an issue for quite a few people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful Room Wonderful View Wonderful Spa!
6.3 Good
Pros: It was nice upon arrival even though the que was lengthy upon arrival. And it was convenient that it was connected to the ICC also the room service food was fast and good quality.
Cons: The TV didn't work. Reported it and was told it would be fixed later, came back 6 hours later from the Stallone event and still wasnt working. Iron was cheap and spilled water all over the clothes. I got a replacement later before going out. My partner went to the bar to get a coke and me a beer after the Stallone event. I nipped to the toilet she was still stood there when I got back and she explained that the staff served 3 new customer that came to the bar after her. There was two staff on and about 3 sets of customers when I came back to the bar. My partner was going to go back to the room. I went and spoke to the bar staff and explained the situation and they then did server me. My partner found the bar staff rude. Due to the big event being on we had to wait for 5 elevators opening on our floor before we could get down to the event. We had platinum tickets so you can understand how annoying this was.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was good, the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean
Cons: The lifts. I know they were being refurbished but 2 lifts?? we were on floor 7 and when we were waiting for the lift it was either full or went past the floor.
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was nice and clean, breakfast offered a good choice, the facilities has a good choice of spa, gym and swimming pool. The staff were helpful and there was always someone on hand. Location of hotel was good being central in walking distance of Broad Street and Brindley place.
Cons: The parking was a problem, however this was explained before arrival. There were two lifts out of action but for a busy hotel such as this on an event weekend it left us waiting for up to 10 minutes for a lift. Fridge in room was not stocked given there were two of us there was only one of everything including the bathroom shampoo and shower gel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great service, fantastic leisure facilities, spacious and comfortable room with everything needed, lovely bar and restaurant with really good vegan menu.
Cons: Ironing board broken, TV remote control didn't work properly and reception staff didn't know there was a full vegan menu in the restaurant so I nearly went elsewhere to eat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luxury and modern styling, lovely lobby, restaurant and classy bar, clean and felt quality, professional and smart staff
Cons: The drunk young italian thug at the bar....... The lack of free satellite tv channels...... Plus the parking that had to be in the NCP around the corner was closed at 11pm when I got back to the hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and facilities
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely clean hotel with great friendly staff
Cons: That you couldn't book parking before you got to the hotel. So i had to park about 10 mins away..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff are really helpful and have an excellent manor.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very polite and helpful very clean hotel Very close to my chosen venueoverall I would recommend and choose to stay again thank you for the excellent service
Cons: I did find the meals and drinks expensive

Pros: Very clean and still smells new, staff were helpful and friendly. Very comfortable bed, great pillows. Great central location.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like, was a good value for money overnight stay in the city
5.4 Okay
Pros: The rooms were clean and tidy
Cons: Throughout my stay at this hotel, the air conditioning in my room was making a constant noise while displaying an error code on the thermostat. This was reported to reception but nothing was done about it.
6.5 Good
Cons: towels were not replaced daily
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff at breakfast were happy, smiling and checked if we had everything we needed. Location was about 10 min walk from train station which was good, nice and quiet. Room was lovely, clean and tidy. Hotel is close to canal too nice for walking or calling for a drink. We would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Person who checked us in wasn't sociable, didn't smile and hardly spoke except to ask us how high up we wanted to be and take our payment.. He wasn't rude just didn't interact with us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good security. All staff were professional. The food was superb. Can not find a fault.
Cons: I did not find anything that I did not like
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and nice location
Cons: There is no personal Equipment such as toothpaste or toothbrush or jel shower
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The sausages were actually tasty. In so many places they are quite tasteless. I also like the option of taking breakfast away in a bag. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. I was over with my daughter who was starting university so it was very convenient to train station & her campus.
Cons: My decision to book there was actually based on the fact that bathroom facilities suggested bath & shower! Bath/shower was ticked & further down shower was ticked. However, after I made my non-refundable booking, I requested a room with a bath & it was only 2 days later, (when I made the request again) that I was informed the rooms only had a shower! The hotel should only tick shower as they are misleading people!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pros- The location is very central and well connected, walking distance from the canals as well. The room was immaculate clean, and the bed super comfy. Breakfast is continental, with lots of variety and choises for hot drinks. We also really appreciate the Tv in the room, which has a smart system and we could connect our music! Reception is very friendly :)
Cons: Cons- No choises to check-in with escalator, you necessarely need the lift or call the staff to open you the door. In the room there was no fridge and no glasses for water, but only mugs for hot drinks. Bare in mind there is no room service, so if you like to eat or drink something you need to go to 1st floor and order it by yourself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like almost everything , hotel is in excellent condition and staff was nice and friendly, room was clean and fresh. Short distance for our venue we had conference in.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Central location. Nice room.

Pros: Food Staff spoke English and were English!
Cons: Messy bar area in the evening, older woman working in bar very lazy and rude to a younger member of staff
7.5 Good
Pros: did not stay for breakfast, location was ok
Cons: nothing
8.2 Excellent
Pros: They gave us a room in a quiet zone so the baby wouldn't be disturbed. We got a very quiet room and were delighted.
Cons: Room service wasn't great. Stained teaspoons in the coffee/tea caddy were worrying. The baby's crib had a solid base and he really didn't like it. We used the bedspread from our bed as a mattress and he slept straight away. The next morning Room Service put the bedspread back on our bed. Obviously a comfy baby isn't a priority

Pros: Very well presented property with clean facilities
Cons: Not soundproof as I could hear the person in the next room using the toilet etc Heating wouldn’t come on ...a member of staff said they would check to see if there was a fault and didn’t bother to come back with outcome of his investigations thus left cold overnight and extra duvet could have been offered or room swap!

Pros: We stayed for my son's wedding and the location and food were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the wedding run smoothly and helping to create a warm and relaxing environment for everyone. Great venue and lovely rooms too. Thank you so much.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff, customer service was appropriate being friendly and not over familiar... Excellent, made our trip.
Cons: Breakfast excellent, but not keen on brasserie... But that's my personal choice.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast and dinner in the hotel was very good , the staff and service was attentive and smiley . The grounds are stunning and a great location .
Cons: The room we were in was December , a cold and dreary month, so well named . The mirrored chest of draws only had two handles , six were missing ! The wardrobe was such poor quality the door didn't shut properly ! The standard lamp had a shade that was broken and stained ! One of the chairs in the window was badly stained . When opening the window the catch was broken and there was a pile of bird droppings on the ledge and on the glass . The curtains were falling off the track and were in shreds , a touch of the Miss Haversham !!! No towel rail in the bathroom , only one hand towel supplied ! For the cost of the room one would expect bath robes , but not supplied ! The wooden box in the bedroom containing the bath is an eyesore ! Overall one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many all over the world , this one is a contender for bottom spot . For a fraction of the price we should have stayed at the Premier Inn , a much higher standard of accommodation .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, surrounded by trees and great gardens.
Cons: Towel rail in bathroom boiling hot!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast ! Really comfortable bed.
Cons: Insonorisation and bathroom could have been better.
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: Noisy guests, unpleasant music playing un the restaurant
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was amazing.
Cons: The staff, including the restuarant manager, despite it not being particularly busy didn't listen to the slight tweaks my wife and I needed to our respective cooked breakfasts - quite important when my wife is vegetarian and she receives meat sausages!

Pros: Location and facilities were outstanding room very comfortable with all the staff being very polite and friendly stay at New Hall was for our 15th Anniversary where the staff went out of their way to help us celebrate.
Cons: N/A liked it all
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, quite a few cobwebs in the corners of the room. Bin also not emptied for the 2 days I stayed. Otherwise excellent, staff went out of their way to accommodate any requests. Left comments for a couple of wonderful staff members on reception on checking out. Love the turn down evening service also- the little extras really make the difference. Thanks Becca
Cons: Cobwebs in the room, bins not emptied. Shame the booking direct cost is a considerable amount more than through a 3rd party such as booking.com as generally would always prefer to go direct. None of this, however outweighs the positives!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was spacious and clean. The gardens were beautifully kept. Food was delicious and all the staff were friendly and helpful especially Jordan the waiter. Fridge in the room was handy. Such a beautiful hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Setting, all staff, location, front desk staff especially good. Good shower ( for uk). Quiet. Friendly.

Pros: Everything. Lovely hotel, amazing staff and great location!
Cons: The room got a little bit cold and I don’t think the heating was working properly, but I think that was more me not being able to work the system!
6.3 Good
Pros: That we could sit in the lounge and meet people without extra charges
Cons: My room was dusty. I wasn't informed that there is no parking spaces in the Hotel my sister had to sleep in the car as there was no where to park. Parking spaces at Bull ring was too far to walk especially at night The view from my room was bad, it was just renovations or building taking place nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service was super. Rooms were tidy
6.5 Good
Pros: Bar pints bit pricy thou 6 pound a pint
Cons: No fridge in exec room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about this hotel. We celebrated my birthday whilst we was staying here. My husband organised flowers with reception and they also gave me a card, cupcake and decorated a plate with the words ‘Happy Birthday’ and put a little brownie on the side. It was really lovely and did not expect it at all. The hotel really goes out their way if you are celebrating an occasion whilst staying with them. This is our second stay with this hotel and we would defiantly stay again.
Cons: Nothing everything was perfect.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Room good size. Comp mini bar nice touch bug thrownin some crisps or something . bar area buzzing.
Cons: Website photos flatter it a little.ok but not as luxurious as described. Staff could do with a smile or two between them.lots too busy chatting to each other or looking cool to bother with pesky customers!! Breakfast ok.egg overcooked and portions small.dinner same re portion size. overall you can tell I was underwhelmed for a so called superior room at 162quid with breakfast and parking per night
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean and close to our friends. It is quite a walk with luggage from the train station. There is not much around there in terms of food, however, there is an excellent restaurant around the corner with Indian food and craft beer. The hotel itself is above a bar restaurant and the food and drink there was very good as well.
Cons: The beds are somewhat low to the ground on a platform and the mattresses are similar to those made of foam. Would like to see better bedding if you have a bad back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere really buzzing and live music. Friendly staff. Shower controls worked well. Comfortable bed and chair. Artwork and decor esp huge light fitting in middle of staircase. Flowers on window sill.
Cons: It rained
5.4 Okay
Pros: The room was lovely and clean, very comfortable beds too, it was just the service that wasn't very good here.
Cons: The noise through the single glazed windows at the back of the hotel was horrendous, as it overlooked the bar part of the hotel. So a good night's sleep is not on the agenda here. Also the service at breakfast/brunch was terrible, they state it is on until 12pm, i went down at 11.15 and the continental breakfast was non existent, no cheese or meats left. It was stated it was because of a large booking the day before!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Love the location overlooking pretty St Paul’s in the jewellery quarter - comfortable, stylish clean rooms and always great food and cocktails ! Cracking breakfast too.
Cons: The noise if situated in a front room is quite heavy until the early hours - some rooms nicer than others-wasn’t as impressed with our room this time as previous stays.
5.8 Okay
Pros: location and bar downstairs was lovely. The bathroom was lovely. TV was huge. (if not too big for the room.) the free mini bar drinks was a good touch, although i didn't have them. I did like the free water.
Cons: the bed was very uncomfortable. it didn't even fit in the frame and it was higher at the foot because the mattress would not slot in. The room was in a weird place in the place and was dark.
7.5 Good
Pros: St Paul's House is in a terrific location, close to the City and on the edge of the Jewellery Quarter. It's very modern in an old rope factory and there are plenty of bars and restaurants within a short distance. The bar is good and has a good selection of beers including three ales.
Cons: The bed was a little uncomfortable when compared to a Premier Inn. Breakfast was £12 which is reasonable but there are some great cafes cross the square where you can get a nice one at a lower cost.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic value for money in such a lovely part of town. Everything you need at the hotel and you can make a day or two out of what's in the square alone. Couldn't recommend it enough.
Cons: Nothing. All very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Little touches such as complimentary fruit juice and Prosecco in the fridge and a coffee machine instead of a kettle.

Cons: Next to train station so could here the trains and didn't see a lift in the building
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff and a nice breakfast
Cons: Our room was not very clean, coffee stain on the carpet with dried coffee on the door frame to the en-suite. The room was dusty and the shower towels had a mix of nail polish and marks/stains on them. The shower had almost no pressure which made for a lacklustre shower.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: Ordinary and staff couldn't care less

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, a lovely big room and bathroom and an excellent breakfast.
Cons: A couple of dead flies on the window ledge - a really simple thing to clean and we only had one set of towels in our room.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Noisy crowd under our window eating and drinking under the patio, airless hot room, very old dark decorating style and colours
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and the room was pretty quiet.
Cons: It overlooked a flat roof and a wall but I understand that it’s part of the building and nothing you can do about that. The room was boiling but there was a fan so they were aware and provided a little relief.

Pros: Location
Cons: Old and needs to be refurbished
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location. Friendly helpful staff and value for money. Comfortable generous size room with an excellent breakfast.
Cons: N/a
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice hotel. I’ve stayed a few times before. Good location. Shopping, restaurants and bars all nearby.
Cons: Last two times I stayed the breakfast was really bad, so I didn’t have breakfast today, preferring to get breakfast elsewhere. I stayed on floor 7, and in most hotels where I’ve stayed in a premium room, they included an executive lounge with free drinks and nibbles. On that score the premium rooms are not great value, and I don’t think I would bother with a premium room again.
6.3 Good
Pros: Area good as all on your step .
Cons: It was my birthday and they said that they would leave something for use to get discount in the bar and for a meal and got nothing and one of the self over charged use .
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff at reception, in the bar and brassiere were all polite and very good at their jobs
Cons: Awoke to a loud noise coming from our room at 5am in the morning. I contacted reception who said someone would be up to check. I rang back 20 mins later to ask when someone was coming, to find out someone had been and heard nothing in the hallway! I said the noise was in the room as I stated before. Someone came on the second time of asking and agreed the noise was loud and we were moved to another room. I asked for a quiet location but we were given a room outside the lifts on that floor. I just wanted to sleep so left my complaint for the manager, the day we returned home. I do like using Malmaison and can’t fault them, normally. I’m hoping this is just a one off incident. I did raise the issue of it should have been a thorough inspection for health and safety reasons and a courtesy call would have been nice also.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast.
Cons: Too obsolete facilities. I had asked to pay upon my checkout, they started to act like I am a gypsy and we'll leave their hotel without paying. It would have taken only 1 day to get a transaction. I might have paid the next evening. Nope. They had started to sing songs about authorisation, etc. Disappointed.
