Pros: We stayed here to attend a wedding in Beaconsfield. Very good location just 3-4 minutes off the M40. Very comfortable bed with a good shower. Had one dinner which was overall good.
Pros: Easy access from M40 and plenty of free parking. A Hotel chain with a good reputation.
Cons: Bathroom was so small that there was nowhere even to hang the towels or place our washbags. The coffee at breakfast was so dilute that at first I had thought it was green tea! Only one of our 4 pots had decent strength coffee.
Pros: Bedrooms very spacious
Cons: Staff in restaurant a little standoffish not happy that we were a party of nine that didn’t book even though restaurant was empty
Pros: Pool and fitness facilities good . Also bar was nice and relaxing
Cons: Breakfast staff very unhelpful.
Pros: Spotlessly clean
Cons: A bit remote from town. Quite a small room
Pros: the swimming pool was fab. the room was great. breakfast was great.
Cons: the spa changing rooms were not as clean as they could have been, the showers & floor need more regulat cleaning. the room was fantastic but no air con meant that it wax boiling hot & we were unable to sleep
Pros: The staff very polite room amazing as was the club room and pool
Pros: Rooms were excellent and clean.
Pros: Very Clean hotel and room, very friendly staff on arrival and throughout. Nothing was too much trouble by the staff. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely come again.
Cons: I feel that the 2 double beds in the room made the room a little bit cramped but next time I personally would go for a bigger room.
Pros: Beds were very comfortable, bathroom nice, the pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were wonderful.
Cons: Not enough light in the room, bulbs were very dim. Only 1 hot chocolate mix for 2 people.
Pros: Loved absolutely everything! Starting from an angel receptionist Francesca, who made us feel welcome and like home. Any question or request we had during the stay - nothing was too much trouble for her! Real nice room with fantastic bed. Since I was recovering from operation, we requested a quiet room with nice view and that’s what we got. Delicious buffet breakfast, with friendly waiters. Nice spa facilities, with pool, jacuzzi, gym, etc Free mini bar and hot chocolate are indeed nice touches. Spacious free parking right at the entrance of hotel. Highly recommend!!!! :)
Cons: Everything was perfect, can’t complain about anything
Pros: Very clean would stay again .
Located in Amersham, The Kings Arms Hotel is in the historical district, a 1-minute drive from Amersham Museum and 6 minutes from Milton's Cottage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great looking property with superb character, good food and friendly staff
Cons: The room (an exec room) that we were allocated was disappointingly characterless and located in an annex to the main hotel. The room was on the small aide and the bed was a basic double. I am sure the hotel haven’t misrepresented anything but it just wasn’t our expectation for the amount we paid...
Pros: Room small and very hot had to ask for a fan . Very heavy duvet I bought my own sheet as that is all we needed. Nothing replaced in the tea things and difficult to manage in a draw
Cons: The hotel is old and in a great spot in Amersham
Pros: Everything, really lovely thank you.
Cons: I don't think there is anything to fault really. The soap wrack in the shower is rusty but who cares, that can be changed. The bar is lovely, quaint, expected it to be bigger but again, no worries.
Pros: An excellent quiet bedroom. An excellent English Breakfast in the morning
Cons: Seating in the pub could be a bit more comfortable. Yes it’s a very old establishment but a bit more comfort in the bar area would be brilliant.
Pros: Location and old style are amazing
Cons: A little bit far from the station - we ordered a taxi
Cons: Too warm
Pros: The cleanness of the room, and it's huge. Breakfast is also very good.
Cons: The access to the room is a bit difficult if you got heavy luggage.
Pros: good location comfortable room
Pros: Fabulous staff and great location
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.
Located in Beaconsfield, The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is a 2-minute drive from Bekonscot Model Village and 9 minutes from Colne Valley Regional Park. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The ambiance was perfect for a romantic getaway.
Cons: The bathroom could have done with a brightly lit make up mirror. Floor really really slippery in the bathroom even when dry.
Cons: Our room cost just under £300 so value for money...very poor! We were situated across the road from the crazy bear. When a member of staff opened the front door the hallway spelt old and fusty. Our room was small with a double bed with pokey shower room. Overall my husband and we’re very disappointed!! That night when I got into bed I found a hair on the sheets! The list goes on...the hotel seems very over subscribed. I would not recommend staying at the Crazy Bear, the price tag for the rooms (our friends paid more and we’re also disappointed) food and facilities were substandard. Sorry Crazy Bear you need to raise your game!
Pros: Amazing decoration everywhere, attention to detail is clear
Cons: Not obvious to find when driving there. The room was rather dark however that's probably done on purpose so was not a major issue.
Cons: Hard bed , poor quality food at breakfast , bacon uncooked sausage low quality , steak the night before sat in a pool of blood
Pros: The room was just breath taking
Cons: Everything was perfect it the jacuzzi could of been warm
Pros: Didn’t like any of it would have been nice to have something hot
Pros: Every member of staff went above and beyond and was very helpful. The Thai restaurant was very nice and the meal was full of flavour. I ordered roses, petals and chocolate strawberries that went down a treat. Only down side was the left side of the bed was scuffed to the extent it really needs looking into and replacing.
Pros: The room was amazing x the bed was so comfy
Cons: The coffee was not great x
Pros: It's a great hidden oasis. Loved the pool area and the staff were helpful .
Cons: Not easily seen when driving past at street level. Apart from that it's a great hidden oasis
Pros: Continental buffet, good selection. Great, quirky, morroccan style decor. Friendly staff, we were groupon but we're not made to feel second class as in reviews. Food was lovely, pricey without groupon deals!
Cons: Have to pay if you prefer a cooked breakfast, not cheap. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Prices are a bit over the top, eg two bread and balsamic olive oil dips and two pots of tea £17, cocktails £13+.

Pros: Delicious breakfast, exceptionally clean room and bathroom, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: The room was quite small for the price we paid. Tiny window so it was baking as we had sunny weather when we stayed
Pros: Lovely hotel. Really nice & helpful staff
Cons: Our room was at street level & we couldn’t open the windows which made room stuffy -there was a fan but prefer fresh air. Next time will request different room
Cons: Room too dark. Stairs too steep and narrow to take case upstairs so had to unpack downstairs where it is very dark. Little space to unoack clothes so have to leave in case.
Pros: The room was lovely. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: We were a little disappointed with our breakfast.
Pros: Room was very clean and location of the hote was excellent
Cons: Room was a bit small
Cons: The rooms were dark and facing the main road. The decor was minimal and overall lacked a comfortable feel.
Pros: Location, parking, cleanliness, staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great too.
Cons: In room safe with and a small fridge would have made things perfect.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Hotel was full of character
Cons: Rooms a little awkward with ltd storage space. Rooms on the road and in the courtyard were quite noisy. Very strong smell from the Indian restaurant overpowered the courtyard outside seating Limited choice in the restaurant.
Pros: Lovely room , right temperature and quiet. Lovely breakfast
Cons: More toiletries please!
Cons: The mirror in the bathroom was too high if you are under 5ft 10in. Needs to be lowered.

Cons: Bathrom a little tired but clean and functional
Pros: The food and friendliness of the staff and locals
Pros: Room was well presented, and a very good breakfast.

Pros: Very helpful staff. All requests dealt with quickly and efficiently. Easy to relax
Pros: Access to local town for visiting family and ease of location to and from motorway.
Cons: Shower pressure very poor, cost of room for size and facilities was over priced. We will be staying there at the end of August for a wedding reception so will see if there is any improvement/difference with the double rooms as we stayed in a twin room.
Pros: Excellent breakfast Good location for trains to Wembley
Pros: A very pleasant & relaxed atmosphere with genuinely welcoming staff.
Cons: Some of the decoration looked a little tired and the seating in the lounge bar could have been more comfortable. Otherwise, first rate.
Pros: This hotel was perfect for me, it immediately changed me from tense to relaxed, wether it was the polite and friendly staff or the option of a morning swim I don't know. The roomwas perfect and comfortable with easy to use facilities.
