It took too long to get the vehicle. We were given something other than what is on the paperwork given to us by Avis employee…..that he has me sign. The paperwork stated a Chevrolet Equinox and we were given a Toyota 4Runner that had expired license tag. I also asked to have the option of paying for a tank of gas at the time of rental so as not to worry upon return and that did not happen.Reviewed 17 Jul. 2022

The desk is inside Walmart and you park the vehicle on the side and walk around. Not very convenient. Checking out was OK but checking in was time consuming. The desk staff said he hadn't worked there for a while and wanted to run my card again. I didn't want to be charged twice so I asked him to check with someone. Also, he didn't check to see if there were any dents or scratches. I had to ask him to record the mileage and confirm that the tank was full. So we'll try to rent from a different company next time.Reviewed 17 Aug. 2021

They didn't honor my reservation!Pros:The car I ended up with was a nice, clean, Chevy Cruze.Cons:Upon arrival they harassed me because I had made the reservation that same day. According to Avis, if you do so, you must call the pick-up branch to confirm availability. Since i had not been made aware of that, i hadn't done such. So, they were out Economy vehicles, and they refused me any vehicle without a substantial upcharge.Reviewed 1 Oct. 2017
