It would have been nice if Avis honored the reservation. They claimed the code was put in for a hard top and not a convertible as ordered. I had to pay an additional $107. I have notified the Massachusetts Attorney General.Reviewed 23 Mar. 2023

This was a last minute rental because of flight cancelation. The agent was friendly and helpful, the pickup and drop off were easy and uneventful. Through force of habit I typically rent from another company, Due to this experience I will rent from Avis in the future.Reviewed 30 Dec. 2022

When we arrived at the airport two hours late at 2am, we went to Avis and there was a line with 80-100 people in it and ONLY ONE PERSON BEHIND THE DESK. After waiting for an hour and only moving ahead by 10 people, we took an Uber to Orlando for $500.Reviewed 5 Apr. 2022

We had to wait over an hour to pick up our car from Avis.Was in a queue for over 40 mins waiting to complete paper work.Then was told to go through some double doors and the car would be “right there.”Half an hour later the car still had not arrived. Thee complete operation was a joke. They had my reservation, we arrived ontime, and they gave away our vehicle in front of us. Took forever to find another, and when they finally gave me the paperwork and lot space there was no vehicle. A very harried and abused clerk walked the lot and gave us another vehicle (Probably someone else's). When we got to the exit the guard told us that the paperwork and the van did not match. It took 30 minutes in line blocking everybody else to sort it out. Turn signals did not work and the door handle to close doors was broken. Thought it might have just been a bad day until I asked all of the employees and was assured that this was EVERY day at Avis/Reviewed 10 Mar. 2022
