Book Avis car rentals in Vienna

Pros: Odin helped us!

Cons: Supplying the car, which was promised! Not to wait for at least 1 hour at the que for picking up! A guy should deliver to us! He just gave the key and say OK! The price for renting and the extras (insurance) was invoiced higher than it was mentioned on the Rental Agreement form and reservation form.

GPS was paid for and did not work properly

Pros: Agent at pick up was very efficient

Pros: Had to cancel since location closed early

Pros: Hi, I surprised that this you send me evaluation letter. Avis company is not rental company they are theift. For 3 day opel corsa 420 Euro that I paid, its unbeliavable, I booked from your side for per day 41 euro, for two days 82 euro more over I bring the car 5 hour late they charge me 3 day cost which is 420 euro. I have never use your side and Avis any more. I am going to send me complain letter to every where, all my friends. I dont know weather you comany is the part of this bull shit. I will never ever do it again this.

Drop off no where near train station!

Pros: Car was nice, well equipped and clean. Pickup was excellent, the agent could not have been more efficient and helpful

Cons: The drop off at the Lyon Train Station was a joke. Drive around for over one hour and finally located the off station parking garage. The Avis sign is hidden inside of the garage and not viewable from the street. Once inside, absolutely no help from the attendant, and very unfriendly once the Avis agent met us. Only after explaining how difficult the experience was did we finally receive a friendlier service. Overall, very poor experience from Avis! If I could rate zero stars in Lyon, I would.

Cons: The car had originally been reserved for 12 noon on Friday the 1st of Sep. I got delayed and walked to the pick up location to pick up the car at 7 PM. At that point I was told that the reservation had been cancelled and there were no cars available but to come back Saturday morning. When I showed up the next day, not only did the clerk find my previous reservation but it had a car key attached clearly indicating that a car had been available the previous day. This caused us to be several hours late for our program planned for Saturday.

Pros: They overcharged 20 euros in the first contract and charged a day extra for three minutes delay in the second contract. Customer service is non existent (so far) and people I spoke looking for a answer of the over charge, unfriendly and useless

Cons: One feels completely defenseless in front of a company that overcharges without explanation. I have written two claims to customer services but have not been answered yet. In the meantime the money has been taken from the account. Never I will use nor recommend this company again!!
