I rented a pickup truck. Was told the lot was packed with vehicles but no trucks , I said if that's the case maybe an upgrade, give me the best you can. I was told that would cost extra. I stated you have a lot full that aren't being rented and you won't give me any sort of deal, I was give a Chevy equinox, the cheapest suv they had, there was a completely full lot(loaded up for summer as I was told) trucks , SUV's , large sedans. My Budget Camry rental was upgraded to a new Chrysler Pacifica, and the van was a comfortable hybrid with a smooth ride, easy-to-use controls, and excellent mileage. Our first car smelled like pot. They were generally accommodating in letting us swap out for a new car. But the second car smelled like cigarettes. I agreed to pay Budget in return for a clean, safe, rental car. They didn't really hold up their end of the bargain but I still had to uphold mine.Reviewed 9 Aug. 2021
