When I got there I was told the car I reserved wasn't available and that I had to pay for an upgrade. Doesn't seem fair if it allowed me to reserve that size, why do I have to pay extra because you didn't have it available? When we were inspecting the car, the man turned the car on to start it and then said I was all set to go. I got in the car and drove off. 5 minutes later I get a call that he still had the keys and the car I was driving had no keys in it. The whole process was super rushed and this just proves that. I luckily didn't stop the car from the time I got it and was able to drive back. I get the keys and when I get to my next destination, I realize the car says the key fob battery is low and 0%. I call back to let them know this and the guy tells me to go buy one myself at Publix. I go there and they don't sell that battery so then I go to Target. When I talked to the guy he said it should be $5 only but ended up being $10. Not sure why I should have had to pay for that either. They did not have a vehicle for me and the great part was, they called me ahead of time to let me know. Additionally, they could not tell me when they would have a car for me. The bad part was that a half a day went by and they were not able to confirm a vehicle for me so I had to make another reservation with someone else. When they called me back to tell me it was still going to be several hours, I advised them to cancel my reservation as I found another rental. The really bad news is I received an email indicating they were going to charge me $50 for no show! Now I have to spend time wading through their customer service to try to resolve this. Initial call to their customer service indicates it would be 30 minutes for a call back. Will see how it goes!Reviewed 25 Apr. 2022

Did not have economy car when went to pickup. Tried to give us a Ford 150 pickup. Only car they had. Waited about 30 minutes, another car arrived. Drop off said they provided shuttle service to Miami pier. Arrived at 1:20, no receipt given for car return and they called shuttle driver and he said done for day. Bad Pick-up ExperienceCons:Agent at pick-up site not pleasant, and not at all helpful. He barely greeted me, and did not explain anything about gas at return, just handed me the keys, did not show me anything about the vehicle, (I was the only customer.) just terrible servicePros:The convenience of being able to pick up in TAMPA AND DROP OFF IN BRADENTON and vice versa. Location is close to highway and easy to get to. Office is inside Sears so there is a place to turn in the key if you drop off after hours even though technically there is no after hours drop off accepted. The car I picked up on the way back was clean.Cons:The office is only open till 1 on weekends and no after hours drop off. I turned in the car the key and the contract at 1:05 anyway even though the office was closed. Next Monday tried to call-- impossible to reach by phone-no one ever answers--had to drive back to find a clerk who is completely incompetent. he charged me a $14 fee for "driving less than 75 miles" when actually the charge was for not filling tank even though I put in more gas than I used and turned in a receipt to prove it at drop off. When I picked up a car a week later to return to Tampa the same guy Joe recorded the wrong starting milage so it looked like I drove over 2000 miles.
