Liked fuel economy. I think The road noise (tires) in the RAV4 was noticeable. We didn’t get the Camry we’d selected. I’m used to a walk around inspection before driving off, had concerns about that.Reviewed 17 Mar. 2022

We were in a predicament at the Medford, Oregon airport. Our Delta flights were canceled out of Medford, so we needed a car to drive to Sacramento, California to get a flight out of there. Calling direct to the Medford, Oregon airport's rental agencies resulted in being told there were no cars available. But using Kayak resulted in finding a car and being able to secure the rental. Once we arrived to the Budget rental counter, we had care from the friendliest professional agent we could have had. Especially, since our car rented was located at another Budget place a couple miles off airport property. The agent at the Budget counter in the Medford, Oregon airport was able to find us a car at the airport. We thank Budget for the amazing care we received at a time we were under great stress. Everything was great except the windshield had pitch spots on it in our viewing area and it was so thick and sticky. Tried cleaning it off multiple times but a razor blade or heavy solvent would have been required and being that we were traveling from out of state, we didn’t have that on us. It is a nightmare rent a car with BUDGET. They provide a fake rent agreement and I had an accident I have 2 weeks with all this problem they never listen.Reviewed 7 Sep. 2021

Pick up was a bit extended because the budget window was closed and I had to pick up through the Avis window. Overall costs were higher than I wanted, but that appears to be consistent with rental cars everywhere. Drop off went very smooth. My rental had been broken into/broken window the night before drop off. The process went smooth and the individual assisting was very kind. Only drop off complaint was there was no Budget drop off location onsite at the airport, and I had to go through Avis.Reviewed 3 Sep. 2021

Pros:Car was clean and at least they had one for me. The gentleman behind the counter was nice.Cons:I picked up my car at the Medford airport. There's no signage indicating you have to go inside to pick up the rental, I just happened to walk inside after driving around the rental vehicle lot. I had booked an economy car (small size) and instead got stuck with a big gas guzzler on a 6-hour drive home. So while the initial rental was cheap, with the cost of gas it ended up being more than if I had just rented somewhere else. I was one person traveling by myself; I didn't want or need a massive SUV instead of a standard sedan and I'm not sure why an airport has so much trouble getting a variety of vehicles.Reviewed 27 Sep. 2020
