I really could have used a snow brush, but I didn’t find it. The windshield had recently been cleaned, leaving a residue on the inside, that made it hard to see when driving into the sun, as the sunshine lit up the residue.Reviewed 27 Feb. 2023

I am appalled at how unsafe it was for Budget to be providing cars to folks in this Ottawa weather at this time of year with NO WINTER TIRES. Driving from Ottawa to Quebec felt so unsafe and took us so much longer than it should have because ALL SEASON TIRES ARE NOT WINTER TIRES. We were sliding all over the road and I am a very experienced and confident driver. It is deplorable that just because winter tires aren’t legally required in Ontario that Budget would be putting their patrons in such danger during the winter months. Car was dirty , hadn’t been disinfected , vacuumed, customer service was ok , felt rushed .. not a personal experience. Most rental places drive you back , but they did not. Price was reasonable, got in on a good price. Don’t think I would go back to that particular location. Maybe try another location next time!Reviewed 17 Oct. 2022

I was unable to rent a vehicle, though I had reserved one. The machine to read my licence did not work, so I could not proceed with renting the vehicle that I had reserved. The staff seemed to imply that my licence was invalid. They said to me that I should try to rent from another company, which I did. There was no problem with my licence being read and another company was happy to rent to me, though I missed out on the better priced vehicle from Budget.Reviewed 4 Oct. 2022

I have been overcharged and will now have to contact Budget to resolve the $500 on my card. Upon pick up, the vehicle was disgustingly dirty. There was a chip in the windshield and during the walk around, the employee said that if it worsened it would be at my cost. He did not even inspect the inside of the vehicle. They were not even open upon me returning the vehicle. They did not honour my promo code. An all around horrible experience and I will not book again.Reviewed 3 Oct. 2022
