Friendly staff. Vehicle smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Because of this exchanged the Vehicle to different one and the new one also smelled VERY strongly of cigarette as well... also the 2nd vehicle only had a small amount of gas in it when we picked it up.Reviewed 31 Mar. 2024

I didn’t successful pick up the vehicle and ended up having to rent from a competitor. When we chose “supplier choice” I didn’t realize that my only option would be a mini van or an electric car. Lesson learned.Reviewed 23 Feb. 2024

I waited for over 2 hours for my vehicle at the airport and then waited another 30 minutes in the garage only to find out literally the only vehicle they had was a minivan and not the truck I needed. 3 other people went after me and picked up other vehicles but for some reason they singled me out and literally just ignored me while I waited patiently. The staff were not clear in what the problem was nor was there any sort of management or sense of urgency. I want a refund for wasting my time, giving me a terrible large oversized vehicle for me just one person, for my one vacation I take a year, and doing nothing to treat me as a customer or person. They could have easily given me a small car or suv but said no when asked.. minivan only. They also messed up on the booking and added a day before I even picked it up.Reviewed 19 Sep. 2022

Customer service at desk in PNS airport was kind enough to offer me a free upgrade. When we opened the car door, it smelt like a Vegas casino in 1970! It was obviously a smokers car, so we asked for another car (same size as originally booked), and it was brought to us within 10 minutes, with profuse apologies. Pricing was high, but the connivence of on airport pick up, and overall friendliness of reps was v nice. Would rent from Budget in PNS again.Reviewed 24 Jun. 2021

Pros:Car itself was great, clean, new, and the vehicle we reserved was the one we received.Cons:Pickup was extremely slow. It was understaffed both at the desk and in the lot. It took over an hour to complete and that was with our reservation already done days before online. We paid an exorbitant price for the car. Pros:The clerk at the desk was unfriendly and acted annoyed with us until he finally finished and sent us on our way. We got to airport and saw the Budget sign. Before we could get to the space, he slapped the counter 4 or 5 times and said “here!” We kind of laughed, embarrassed. He said, “didn’t you read the sign? It’s for Avis AND Budget. Actually, no we didn’t have the chance. I had forgotten my reading glasses and so my daughter (30 years old) was getting ready to check the boxes for me on the screen. We were scolded, again, with him telling me that had to check the boxes myself. I did, and it was a touch screen, but I was scolded for not using the stylus. As My daughter was skimming and reading the contract for me, he told me I didn’t have to read the contract because he would tell me what was in it. That’s not good enough. I wanted to decide for myself if I had questions about the contract. The car was clean and nice. The woman who gave me the keys when I went to get my car was nice. The person I returned the car to was courteous.Cons:The clerk, as stated above, needs a course in courtesy.Reviewed 9 Jan. 2021

Pros:The attendant that helped with drop off was very helpful and nice. We had taken a picture of the mileage but it came out blurry and we couldn’t actually read it. He still helped and had us out quickly to catch our flight.Cons:The attendant was rude and short with us while trying to pick up the car. Once we got the car, it was filthy. There was soda or something spilled all over the front console and the Windows were so filmy it was hard to see out. The electric/automatic sliding doors didn’t work as well.Reviewed 15 Oct. 2020

Pros:The gentleman at the pickup counter was very overwhelmed when we arrived, but kept his cool and was a tremendous help! Also, the lot attendants were great! We had to wait a few minutes for them to retrieve a car seat we’d ordered. I could tell they were rushing to get it, and the woman at the booth outside was very friendly and helpful while we waited!Cons:So, the wait at PNS airport was almost 2 hours, not exaggerating at all! When I got to the counter, it was just one man working and I commented on him looking overwhelmed! He said it was a combination of him being the only worker AND people who just don’t return cars back, therefore they’re left scrambling trying to find cars in the same class that people reserved! I’m not sure what could be done about this, but if you’re arriving in Pensacola, just be ready to wait in pickup! Drop off was a breeze!Reviewed 19 Jul. 2020
