Pros: Location and amenities. If we asked for it we got it. Yoga mat, ice, corkscrew, and maintenance. We had one of the newly renovated rooms which was really beautiful. Fantastic view into the harbour.
Cons: Some of the new renovations were not checked thoroughly for functionality. Toilet ran and needed adjustment. The sliding door into the bathroom could not be opened or closed without significant effort. Maintenance could not fix it as the door is too heavy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a true 5 star experience
Cons: The AC in the room had a very strong fan, even when turned down low - it did not extend to the bed so it worked for me but if I had sat at the desk, it was to the point of uncomfortable. But the overall hotel experience was first rate.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We went for the 4th of July holiday and felt so comfortable in the small and warmly decorated hotel. Being such a crowded weekend, we never felt overwhelmed due to the hotel being near MIT and no school in session over the summer.
7.0 Good

Cons: Limited control of HVAC system inside the room. Unable to set the preferred thermostat temperature.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The uniqueness. Wonderful staff. Loved little things like apples or cookies waiting for you, bottled waters by your bedside and then complimentary breakfast buffet. We loved it at the Kendal!!
Cons: Maybe a drink vending machine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel, a former firehouse, has a beautiful feel. The very opposite of a cookie cutter chain hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the room was large and comfortable.
Cons: The location, in the center of Kendall Square, is difficult to park in. The hotel does have a small underground lot (which is great) but the fit is right. Despite a warning from front desk staff, we still managed to nick the front bumper...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: service, and confort
Cons: any
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great location, Wi-Fi hotspot in every room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are unique and classy but not weird. Staff nice. Location perfect. Free gym.
Cons: Sagging bed (on one side), temperature control issues in room, hard bars of soap very wasteful, housekeeper didn’t understand English, and loud construction woke me
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As an old firehouse, this hotel has great character and is a nice respite from typical chain hotels. The breakfast was excellent and afternoon wine was a nice touch. This hotel provides a wonderful experience for guests and is a very good value.
Cons: Parking was very tight
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, clever use of space.
Cons: Slow to correct problems with house phone, shambolic response to an interloper who got into an elevator and eluded the staff. Elevator briefly shut down, etc.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: They called and cancelled room on me even though I was given a confirmation number - at 8:30 pm the night of check in! I had to try and find a room standing on the street corner - totally unacceptable.

They should use ozone. When telling the front desk clerk about the toilet she was rude uncaring and rolled her eyes at me! A toilet that is not working in A hotel room A midnight with A person who is not well going for A hospital visit is A big very deal. I did ask for A manger who was very nice, but clearly they felt we should have moved again at midnight or had A plumber in the room. Waking my very sick husband.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location and the hotel itself. The staff was friendly.
Cons: Overall, I liked the breakfast but found they could offer more of a selection. We were there Saturday and Sunday and the breakfast items were the same both days. They serve scrambled eggs & eggs whites, and had toppings to make a breakfast burrito; they also had a vegetarian dish. It would be good if they had tater tots, hash brown or potatoes cuts to chose from one of the days.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Awesome to have Hojoko right next door, theme of the hotel was awesome and the staff was super kind and helpful
Cons: View from the room wasn’t the greatest but to be expected based on location
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The shower was to low
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Need to have less waste and more recycling at breakfast
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I actually loved the quirkiness of the property. It was extremely well executed. The breakfast food was terrific! America, on the whole, has absolutely no idea what healthy or fresh food looks like. Verb on the other hand does, so it is a refreshing surprise to get edible produce in America. I thought the turntable was odd to start with, but after putting on 'Let it be' a couple of times, I was a convert. Thank you for the surprise. I also loved the professionalism of the staff. I got to see a staff meeting and was impressed.
Cons: The parking is an absolute ripoff so had to park elsewhere. I thought $35 was bad in LA. Verb was close to double. Also, a weird rule that you cannot have drinks in your room unless purchased from the bar next door. Not that we breached the rule, but just odd. Also, please get rid of the weird robes.
6.0 Good
Pros: the way the hotel had a theme of music and was different to normal
Cons: When we got there, there was another charge of $16.00 to use the pool and bar which we were not told about previously. Also we used the pool but there was nowhere to get drinks until 5pm, would have been good to have somewhere to get drinks.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Large, clean rooms, comfortable bed! The hotel has a fun and unique vibe. Vinyl and a turntable in each room is a great touch.
Cons: The coffee was weak and watery.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Superb location, staff, room size and comfort. Fantastic.
Cons: The only drawbacks are: expensive breakfast for the limited food offerings and the bar doesn’t smell good. But the goods easily outweighs the bads.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole package was amazing, from the rooms to the public areas.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Nice staff let us check in early. Had no problem with us hanging out in the lobby when our flight was delayed.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. It is close walking distance to many tourist sites and lots of places to eat. It was really clean and nothing was to much trouble for the staff.

Pros: The hotel is nice, bed is big and comfortable, and the service is good.
Cons: There are suspicious people when it’s late or early outside, also the Bluetooth speaker in Room 502 doesn’t work
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed there a total of four nights, The first night we stayed there we were on route to the Cape and then came back finish all three nights. The first night arriving the rim had a nonworking telephone and the thermostat was out of order. The staff moved us to another room which was larger. I do wish they had Sent the Bellman up when we were changing rooms, but we took our things downstairs and then move them back into another room ourselves. Just a little inconvenience. Returning to Boston we stayed at the hotel again for three nights and had a lovely room and staff was exceptional during this stay.
Cons: I do wish I was a more astute traveler, because I conveniently booked through a third-party booking site. Now I know I could’ve booked The rooms directly and saved a lot of money.

Pros: This is the second time that we have stayed at the Inn at Hastings Park. We had a much smaller room this time, but were lucky to even get a room. It was very comfortable with a lovely rain shower and the Nespresso maker with real Half and Half. We especially liked being able to control the temperature in the room and it was quiet. The staff was very helpful and nice to a one. We had dinner and breakfast at Artisty and both were delicious. We highly recommend staying here.

Pros: This is the third time that I have stayed at the Inn. It is lovely and the staff is excellent. There is a very good restaurant and a bar onsite. Unfortunately we had pouring rain so didn't walk outside, but it is in a historic town with lovely walking trails.
Cons: I would have loved having a bath as well as a shower. But the shower we had was excellent.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location near Lexington downtown. Super friendly staff. Free bikes and access to nearby community open air swimming pool. Very cosy New England style accommodation. Very nice breakfast and super brunch on Sunday.
Cons: If anything, bathroom is a little small, but well equiped. I also did not like the Inn’s policy of a fixed tip for staff which is charged before you even arrive. A tip is a tip and should be paid after service is delivered and to appreciation of how it was delivered. This being said, in the case of the Inn’s staff, they fully deserved it and more!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in room 30. Everything was lovely. Only minor bump was the room was above the check-in room door of the hotel and when people (probably unassuming hotel guests) would slam that door, it would rattle the house (and my room). Again, that was only a minor annoyance. What I loved: It was all the little details and obvious heart that went into making sure everything was lovely. The soft robes and comfy slippers, and beautiful tall glass water bottles... it just made me feel pampered. Also, it's the staff's caring and attention to detail. For example, I had a bouquet of flowers and the staff brought a vase to put them in. I let Alex know I would be working, and she brought me a table so I could sit in the window and work next to the natural light. Then the actual experience: All the toiletries (Molton Brown) and little sewing kit, make up remover and cotton pads to remove makeup were such a nice touch! The hotel bar and restaurant (great wine list!) were lovely and the bedding was so comfy! The hotel felt like home but with more pampering. Alex and the staff were attentive and helpful. Everything felt luxurious and well thought out. I will be booking here again.
Cons: Only minor bump was the room was above the check-in room door of the hotel and when people (probably unassuming hotel guests) would slam that door, it would rattle the house (and my room). Again, that was only a minor annoyance.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and good food and service

Pros: You get a lot out of your money when you book at the Residence Inn! The room was very spacious with a kitchen which we could however not use due to lack of time. But it is an amazing location for a longer stay where you would fancy to cook your own dinner or enjoy the evening on the couch. The breakfast was also really good: waffles, oatmeal, fruits, eggs, bagels, juices. Thanks so much!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: location was great. close to Fenway Park and Back Bay shopping. The rate was good but had an additional $25 plus tax "ammenity" fee.
Cons: The $25 fee plus tax on top of nightly rate is annoying. The small items they include all typically always included in the nightly rate at 4.5 star hotels.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A nice hotel with clean, spacious rooms near Fenway Park, about 10 min walk to Newbury street shopping, 15 min to Prudential Center. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom with high quality toiletries (Malin+Goetz), a nice, separate living area. Breakfast at the Eastern Standard Grill was excellent, well worth the extra$, weekend brunch was a deal, also great service by the courteous staffs. A Starbucks & a convenient store right next door. Hi speed Wifi's good. In all, we had a very pleasant stay there for the whole week.
Cons: The first night, there was a very noisy neighbor and I could hear this lady arguing with someone quite clearly until 3am!! Horrible! Guess they checked out so the rest of the week was just fine, only some noise when people talked by the corridor. No in-room coffee/tea maker.
