My view, the shower and the bed.
The staff were confused when checked about it refused to get management to try and rectify the situation, denied my all inclusive privileges because of their mistakes.
Hotel on Royal SIDE was amazing. We went with a very large group but opted the Royal service for private amenities. POOL BUTLER and section. Would definitely book there again
Hotel main area Carpets in the elevator were very MUSTY. They have incense burning in various area. Also, side not make sure the change the sheets DAILY. Found a stain on the bed from the night I spilled something tucked in the blankets
Golf course and tennis court
The pushy timeshare people; dim lit corridors ; lack of authentic Mexican food choices
The resort is very beautiful the architecture resembles a pyramid--love the building but that was about it.
The experience started well but things quickly got bad. My boyfriend and I went to dinner on a restaurant that was super full of people and very loud. We asked for tacos which took forever to arrive. The meat was just thrown on the taco shell. It looked messy. To make things worse the tacos did not taste good. The waiter service was also bad. They were so busy they just flung the plate of food on your table without saying anything. At other hotels we stayed at like the fantastic Le Blanc the food not only was delicious--you can tell it was prepared lovingly by chefs who really care about food--but the food also looked amazing. The waiters at Le Blanc were very friendly and took time to explain everything about the food we were served as well as other food and drink options. Now back to Paradisus, there are other issues like we made a mistake and took the staff elevator where food is delivered to the guest rooms and we were shocked by what we saw. It was fillthy with food on the elevator floor and the elevator smelled of rotten food. GROSS. The hotel room itself at first glance was okay NOT LUXURY but the balcony had plants and flowers which from afar looked nice until you saw the planter up close. We found at least 20 cigarette butts in the soil. GROSS. I suspect it was a room where smoking was allowed which we did not want since we don't smoke and hate the smell of cigarettes especially when it gets inside the curtains and furniture. But to be fair we only saw the cigarette butts on the balcony not in the room so maybe the previous occupants only smoked in the balcony and not inside the room but maybe they did. Who knows? My question is why doesn't the housekeeping staff remove the cigarette butts? How difficult is it. Anyway we stayed about a little over an hou at Paradisus before we decided to leave and find another resort hotel. Pay extra money and find yourself a better resort. You will have a much better experience.
Very nice people. Beautiful place.
The checkin process was VERY SLOW. I had a suite and the lights in the side room didn't work, same as the lock in the principal room. The luggage took long to arrive. To connect to wifi you need to do it every time you need it, with long password.
