The staff at pick up was great and very efficient.

The drop off in Erie could have been better. The airport was closed and there was no signage of where to drop the car or the key. We were thankful the airport police officer helped us out.

Pros:

When I went to pick up my reserved rental it wasn't there cause others were late returning theirs... so they did everything they could as quickly as possible to get me a vehicle of the size I needed... and very friendly staff!!!!!

The 800 number I had said that I couldn't drop off the vehicle a day early cause it was closed. So the next day when I went to drop it off the person there said I could have and showed me the drop box... because of this I had no one to take me back home that day which was an hour drive away and had to start walking in the rain back home... thankfully a nice person gave me a ride even though I was soaking wet from walking

Lady at counter was really nice but it took over 30 min to get car because flight was late so I picked it up next morning and rate was way higher. It took forever to straighten that out and almost made me late for what I rented car for.

Car was dirty, dusty and smelled like old rental car smell. Maybe it’s been in rotation too long. 37K miles. Sounded like an old taxi cab in NYC when I hit a bump or I applied the breaks. Will definitely stick to Sixt or Hertz. Much more reliable car quality and experience. Saving a few bucks wasn’t worth it in this case.

Compact SUV

I reserved one type of car and somehow in my reservation it was changed to a compact car. It was actually fine but I had purchased separate trip insurance for the kind of car I requested. That made me unsure of whether the insurance would cover the other car type. Fortunately I didn’t need to find out! The man who checked my car in was very funny and nice. Wish I had gotten his name - he found my phone which I left in the car and tracked me down!!!

They gave me a Chevy Traverse. It was in good condition and clean.

Picking up the car took way to long! It took the guy at least 20 minutes to do the paperwork. He kept calling someone on a radio to see what was available. Then he told me that they were just finishing cleaning it and it would be brought up to the door. I kept going outside and checking. There were a number of cars setting in the lot that would have been fine for me to use. After about 25 minutes, I went back to the desk to find out where the car was. He called someone the radio and told them to bring the car up to the door. After about 15 more minutes, they finally brought the car over.
