1. When picking up, we initially had to go down to the parking garage area because no one was at the indoor rental counter, but an associate came and asked us to come back to the indoor counter after we had waited in line for a minute. The check out process wasn't too long, maybe 15 minutes in total, but it could have been more smooth. 2. Small nit, but we are not frequent electric vehicle drivers and don't really know much about charging them. It might have been nice to have the person at the desk give us a few suggestions about where to find chargers (usually available at a hotel, do / don't go to Tesla supercharger stations) and what cable is needed. We kind of just assumed we'd be able to figure it out when we left. 3. Leaving the shared rental lot itself was very slow. There was actually only one car in front of us, but they took I would guess 5+ minutes to deal with them. There was only one attendant on duty though, so we had to wait. 4. This may be an issue with Google Map directions, but it directed us on the 2 lane road shared with cars picking up and dropping off travelers. That road was backed up. If we could have approached the drop off from a different direction, it would have saved us ~5 minutes, I think.Reviewed 24 Aug. 2023

Car was fine, clean, everything as expected. Pick up was way too long- waited an hour in line. Thank goodness our car was ready, but there were multiple people sitting and waiting for their car to be ready (after waiting in line for 45-50 min)!Reviewed 18 Apr. 2023

The desk for Dollar at Burbank was shown to be on the second level. When we got there, we were told by another car rental company they were on the first level. If there were signs indicating that, they were not very noticeable. We then went down to the first level (hauling our luggage all the time). I booked my car through Kayak who took me to the Priceline site to book at car at Dollar Rental Cars at the Burbank Airport. When I got to the Airport, with my happy notice from Priceline congratulating me about my rental, the Dollar people could not find my reservation in their system. I showed them the confirmation but it made no difference. They, along with the other car rental agencies had NO cars to rent. We were essentially stuck. Thank you for nothing Kayak and Priceline. It appears whatever you were to communicate to Dollar never got there. Very disappointed. My advice to people looking to rent a car is, you can use Kayak to check prices but to book directly with the Rental Agencies. You just can’t trust these intermediaries.Reviewed 22 Feb. 2022

Car was old, had dents and dings and scrapes, and the interior smelled of weed and cigarettes. Plus, I had to go to the nearby Hertz counter to get the car, as the Dollar Kiosk was closed. Wish Dollar had told me that instead of me having to figure that out by myself!Reviewed 27 Sep. 2021

Pros:NothingCons:The staff was unfriendly, not helpful, and gave me the worst car. We had to waste our time waiting to get a new one.
