Too few staff, for one. Only 4 cars on the lot for 6 customers. Waited 90 minutes to check in only to find it would be another 3 hours to wait for a car.Reviewed 22 May 2023

Pick up from the airport took ages and getting a vehicle once we got to the depot also took a long time. We booked a small car and I got a 7 seat van which was fine for me but had one mirror held on with tape.Reviewed 20 Oct. 2022

I know car rental companies make most of their profit from selling insurance but easirent’s insurance more than doubled the cost of the rental. Seemed excessive. Also the pick up was slow. Other than that the car and staff were fine.Reviewed 15 Oct. 2022

The car quality isn’t great and the pick up location isn’t at the airport. Luckily another car company told me I needed to call them to pick us up from the airport to shuttle us to their location, otherwise we would have been screwed. Can’t really complain though considering their prices are so much lower for an automatic van than any other company.Reviewed 10 Oct. 2022

Before booking you need to make it clear to people, that they can avoid a large excess by paying for insurance and you need to do this in advance. You also need to confirm that your office is not on site and give instructions in advance on how people get to your office. You need to resolve your phone connections because sometimes the number that you are expected to call does not work.Reviewed 12 Sep. 2022

Great staff- the gentleman who was working when we dropped it off drove us all the way to our hotel instead of their regular airport drop off- that was above and beyond and very appreciated!Reviewed 16 Aug. 2022

Insurance is a bit of a rip off and they don’t recognise our travel insurance covers their car. Car was given to us with a low pressure in a tyre, no water in the window washers and a drivers door handle loose.Reviewed 6 Aug. 2022

I recommend getting taxi from airport to pick up car as the shuttle they send could take long or is hard to find and spot. The drive there is very short. If you miss your connecting flight and are more than 2 hours from pick up time they will rent your car to someone else. This happened to me I called and let them know but our car was rented out. They were kind enough to find us another car but it was manual not automatic. The car they gave us cost more and had adblue. I never heard of adblue and had no idea how it worked and it was not filled up as it should have been. The car also had scratches and was not clean. The diesel was only a quarter tank. When I drove it the adblue warning lights were going off telling me the car would not start after a certain number of kilometers. This was stressful. These alarms continued for over a week. I called customer service which were easy to reach. They suggested going to a dealer to have the adblue reset (I bought adblue myself and refilled it but it did not help). No dealer would reset my adblue so easirent drove out to me and swapped with a petrol (not diesel) car which was a great car. The rest of my experience was great. It should be noted that the time I rented this car was a time post covid and high inflation started that renting cars was very expensive. For 2 months my bill was $5300. This sounds expensive but compared to other estimates from other rentals ... If any were available were between $8000 and $12000. So I feel kayak gave me a great deal.Reviewed 3 Aug. 2022

I ended up paying more than double than what my estimate was after they tacked on fees and insurance. They shuttled me to an offsite location (not at the airport), so I couldn't exactly 'not rent' a car from them and go elsewhere. I felt stuck. They were friendly though.Reviewed 27 Jul. 2022
