Didn't even take the car. They kept saying to get the car I needed a separated insurance from the one I purchased. I've done rentals with them before and never did they offer it. Picked up at 2am car dirty, after a getting on the road notice breaks were bad and it had transmission problems. Get home slept and at 12 noon went to the local Eurocar to return it or get a replacement. Was told no cars available to take it back to the airport where I got it. Went to the airport after rush hour, told them the situation and I was told I would have to wait 1 hour for an available car. I said I rather just return car early. They said in that case you will be charged one whole day plus 5% early return fee. With the car status I shouldn’t be charge 5% fee or even a whole day. At the end my credit card was charge the full amount of the beginning rental of five days. Will take it up with my credit card. I was given a supervisors number to call, phone rang with no answer. Pros:Woman at counter was courteousCons:Price, insurance was $110 per day. I had the car 30 hours and had to pay 2 days of rental and 2 days of outrageous insurance. I used to pay $67 dollars for insurance in the past. As I have been a long time customer. The car had a terrible smell of burnt motor oil coming from the engine. Cons:I was not given an option to decline insurance coverage not needed or wanted. My reservation would not have been honored and they would have declined car rental. I had 8 pieces of luggage and 94 and 92 year olds with me. I had no choice but to accept very expensive insurance, not needed as my credit card covers it. Also, no car available on location for me and I had to wait a full hour for the car. I was lied to, being told it was being cleaned. I walked over to the cleaning bay to check and no caravan was there. I asked again and was told it was a few more minutes while they finished cleaning it. I confronted them and explained there was no car there and to give me an honest answer. They finally said it was coming from a different location. They still had to clean it when it arrived. Pros:I did NOT like that I was not able to use the insurance I purchased through Kayak with this rental company. I WASTED MY MONEYCons:A whole lot.
