There is no pickup or drop off option from departure bay. No transport options outside of taxi and very infrequent busses. Bad option for those not arriving by airplane.Reviewed 18 Sep. 2021

Pros:Staff were very friendly and service was fairly quick.Cons:I called Hertz to let them know my flight was cancelled and that I would be arriving a day late. Unfortunately, they failed to notify the location where I was picking up the car and, as a result, they rented out my car to someone else. They found another car for me but not what I had wanted.Reviewed 24 Feb. 2019

Problems with the Corolla TouchScreenPros:Kirk at HERTZ Nanaimo Airport, BC--Great Service! Car was mechanically sound My final email bill was exactly what I expected in CAD (I dropped off the car using their dropbox at 4:30am and got my final bill via email soon after they opened at 8am--no problems)Cons:Corolla Touchscreen--many problems, Often would not respond to touch...completely blacked out for three hours--then rebooted on its own...changed radio stations at its own whim...and could not be turned off. I worked with it over the week I had the car-- so I did not have to waste time returning it.Reviewed 15 Jun. 2018
