Cassidy car rentals

Cons: Corolla Touchscreen--many problems, Often would not respond to touch...completely blacked out for three hours--then rebooted on its own...changed radio stations at its own whim...and could not be turned off. I worked with it over the week I had the car-- so I did not have to waste time returning it.

Cons: I called Hertz to let them know my flight was cancelled and that I would be arriving a day late. Unfortunately, they failed to notify the location where I was picking up the car and, as a result, they rented out my car to someone else. They found another car for me but not what I had wanted.

Cons: No one was there to get the car; had to book from a different counter.

Cons: No one there for drop off. Sign instructing to leave keys in envelope with time of drop off. No envelopes.

Cons: Nowhere did it say I needed to have a non GDL license to rent from this location so I book it for the weekend only to show up after getting off the plane and was told i could not rent from them. Lucky for us Hertz was right beside and accommodated us so we weren't stranded. The employees at national were very nice but the policy was dumb. They should make that very clear right when you book.

Cons: Staff should come out and explain the starter, lights, wipers, how to open gas cap, etc. A 5 min review would be helpful. Every rental car is different. I frankly found the guide not that good. Hard to find what you are looking for. Its safety to check all those things before driving. Not everyone can read english and french.
