A car was available for me to drive. That was good. The bad: 1) Original quote was for £ 275 - the local Hertz desk charged me £ 691 and tried to charge me over £ 800!! 2) I requested an automatic transmission and got a stick 3) there was a huge scratch in the rear passenger door 4) There was no return sign at the Inverness airport for Hertz, all the other rental car agencies were represented but not Hertz. We had to drive around for 10 min trying to find it, and luckily saw the tiny Hertz sign upon leaving the airport. Kind of a disaster regarding the drop off.Reviewed 22 Oct. 2021

We enjoyed our Ford Kuga for our Scottish Highlands road trip. Although the car doesn't have the oomph as other cars, it certainly met our needs. The car had ample space for our luggage and provided a good ride.Reviewed 18 Oct. 2021

Because of a late flight, my wife and daughter did not get to the Hertz office in time to pick up the rental. They had to arrange to pick it up the next day losing a day of the intended contract. For them to do this, they charged an extra $150.00!! Thank you Hertz, I will not be back.Reviewed 25 Aug. 2021

Cons:The offering of insurance prior to getting the vehicle should have been better , since the insurance at the counter was outrageous. Also the drop off should have been described, since in that airport it is rather convoluted.Reviewed 18 Feb. 2020

Pros:Car was size as describedCons:We were charged much more than was quoted. In addition there was some damage to the car which we noted at pick up but Agent told us it was all documented. Pros:Gas mileageCons:The car had connectivity issues. I couldn’t connect my mobile phone to charge it or use its map. On my way, I stopped by two Hertz location hoping that they change my car but they didn’t. I am not satisfied with this rental at all.Reviewed 18 Jul. 2019
