Pros:The agent who assisted me in Warwick was helpful.Cons:The signage to locate the building/office was awful. No one was available to report a small scratch on the passenger door when I picked up the vehicle. I took a photo of the scratch. Also, signage for drop off was not good. Just a box to turn the key. No agent present to whom I could report the scratch. Otherwise I was satisfied with the rental situation.Reviewed 2 Jul. 2020

Cons:When I call 2 days for my reservation, I ask !! Can I pay whit my DEBIT card ? The answer was yes.!! But when I arrive to pick up, they rejected me .. because of that .... I lose my day and time and almost lose my trip to my destination.... don’t like this polices ...Reviewed 21 Dec. 2019

Screwed again..Cons:When I tried to extend a 4 day rental by 24 hours, Hertz said the extra day would cost $160. The daily rate was $43. They said the 5th day made it a "weekly rental", and raised the rate FOR EVERY DAY.Reviewed 21 Aug. 2018

Driving in New EnglandPros:Our 2019 Jeep suv was a great car, loaded with all of the latest features including GPS and SXM radio. We were comfortable and safe while driving from Rhode Island to the Cape to Boston and back to the Providence airportCons:We have been married for 45 years and suddenly you have to pay extra for a spouse to be able to drive. $13.50 a day.
