Pros:The sales agent was honest and helpful even though she had no car to rent. She explained to the best of her knowledge.
Cons:There was NO car to pick up even though numerous emails assured us our car would be ready for pick up. We were stuck with NO transportation. Enterprise was able to help us. Will NOT use Budget again.
Cons:There is a lot of latitude within the definition of a full size car. The Kia Optima I was assigned drove very well, but the seats were not comfortable at all.
Pros:The service in New Bern was okay but the car was not parked in the location told, the car was dirty, and I was not informed of drop off location change in RDU.

Pros:The staff during pick up was good.
Cons:They didn't have the type of car I reserved, so I ended up with something different. The staff during drop off took a long time with a customer in front of me and never acknowledged me to say he would be right with me.
Cons:The car battery died, I called 24 hour road side assitence, I was told no one was available to help me. I spoke to Nina at a call center in Fla. who promised to call back once a jump start truck was available, she never did. I will never use Budget again.
Pros:Car was clean in good shape and ready to go
Cons:I had reserved a full size car when I got there I was told I was getting a free upgrade to a Jeep only problem is I was going to travel 5 hours on the interstate. When I asked about turning down the upgrade she said it's the only car we have left. But when I went out to get the Jeep the parking spots were full.

Cons:I did not take this rental. From the picture shown when booked what was an SUV they offered me a large mini van they had no decent cars to offer. I went to another rental place and got a vehicle
Cons:When I got there I was told that they did not have a vehicle available and they did not offer any additional options for me to get a vehicle. I was forced to go to another location to rent a vehicle. Enterprise has horrible service.
Cons:Unmanned desk. Not answering phone. Assisted by the Alamo attendant.

Pros:The Car was not available and I lost a lot of money and time due to the car not being there as arranged. It messed up all my travel plans and I had to scramble to make my flights and find a hotel as I moved out of my apartment that day. Terrible terrible terrible,,
Cons:There should be a law against not having the car there. Staff said a reservation does not mean you will get the car. Obviously, they sold my car to a higher bidder
Cons:Small airport and no one there except me and I was there at 7:45 am. Alamo did not open until 8. Other car rentals checked in customers before 8 while my agent took a smoke break. No a deal breaker but certainly not promoting customer service

Pros:The Ford Edge was a comfortable car.
Cons:Alamo insurance seems a scan. We took a plan when we booked but learned at the desk that it was no better than our credit card coverage. So the agent tried to sell us a more expensive plan available only at the time of rental.
Cons:It was a truck. I didn't plan on a truck. Also it was $45 when I got to the counter and it was supposed to be $20!
Pros:I was running a couple hours late to pick up my rental car, and when I got there they didn't have the small car I had reserved for the weekend. However, the woman at the counter worked with me to find a car that I wanted, and I only had to wait a short time for them to clean the car for me and I was on my way! Alamo was running a great deal and the price could not have been better. The car was clean and in good working condition. Good customer service. Thanks Alamo!

Pros:Online was easy to use and book. This was the ONLY positive part of the experience.
Cons:Counter clerk was rude. once we got there to wrap my car he informed us that I had to have a credit card that my cash was no good. He was very rude and really need some customer service skills in dealing with people. It needs to state when you order your car that they do not except debit cards or cash. Not everyone has a credit card. There is a family behind us that also only had a debit card and cash.

Cons:Its company policy to immediately charge credit card for #200 at start of rental. I;m sure it takes more than immediately to get money back. So did not like the deposit policy

Pros:Good value on the car, which I only needed for one short one-way drive
Cons:The drop-off. I showed the employee my FULL fuel tank and he said "Don't worry about it, the car is linked so the system will know." He also didn't provide me with a receipt at that time. When I received the receipt by email 20 minutes later while sitting at the gate, it said the tank was only 7/8 full and I was being charged an extra $19+! Avis customer service says they will reverse the charge after I told them the name and number of the gas station and the dollar amount paid for gas, three minutes before I turned in the vehicle; but I haven't seen the charge reversed yet. Who has time for this?

Pros:I like big cars, because I am a big person. The last time I rented, it was a Chevy Malibu, as full size. Well, I had a time getting in and out of that thing. So from now on I want to know for sure that it is a big vehicle. Thanks for the good service, and fine automobile
Cons:One of the rear seats was unmanageable, for what reason I do not know. The saving grace was that the van was large enough that it didn't matter. We had plenty of room for all of our luggage. My wife takes enough luggage for a week to be gone for two days. Oh well, I had a plenty myself. Anyway, we were exceedingly pleased with the Chrysler Town and Country......RAH
Cons:My flight was cancelled therefore I had to drive to an alternate airport. Avis charged me $250 for my drop off location change.
