I waited 90 minutes for a car for which I was already late by over an hour to pick up. The car I was given was a 2 seater tiny car and I had rented a mid sized car similar to a Camry. I got a Miata which was not an ideal vehicle for why I rented it. The gal at the counter was surly and rude.Reviewed 7 Aug. 2023

Their computers were down so even though I was there on time, after serving me for 45 min (ie I was not in line) they were not closer to being able to print my contract. I’m still waiting for them to return my payment. They were unable to rent a car to me. I need a refund. Can you help me get a refund? (Weirdly, the same staff were renting for budget car rental and had no problems with that computer. However their budget cars were all taken so I received no car.)Reviewed 29 May 2023

I PAID $135.00 AND NEVER EVEN GOT TO GET THE CAR. I WAS DENIED AT COUNTER BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE A FLIGHT BOOKED TOO. AND WAS TOLD I COULDNT BE REFUNDED OR SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT PICK UP LOCATION EITHER. APPARENTLY IN ORDER TO GET A CAR RENTAL WITH PICK UP LOCATION AT DSM AIRPORT YOU MUST ALSO HAVE A FLIGHT BOOKED OUT OF THAT AIRPORT. OBVIOUSLY I WAS NOT AWARE OF THIIS. I DID NOT SEE THIS INFO ON ANY TERMS & CONDITIONS, OR POLICIES. IVE SPENT HOURS TRYING TO RESLOVE THIS ISSUE SINCE FRIDAY. IVE CALLED KAYAK, CAR RENTERS.COM, AND PAYLESS AND STILL NOTHING. IM VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS AND THE LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE FROM ALL INVOLVED HAS BEEN SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTING. I WOULD LIKE EITHER A REFUND OR TO BOOK A CAR RENTAL FOR ANOTHER TIME, OR HOTEL ROOM OR SOMETHING. $135 MAY NOT BE MUCH MONEY TO SOME BUT ITS ALOT TO ME AND MY FAMILY. WE SAVED FOR 2 MONTHS TO COME UP W THE EXTRA FUNDS TO GET THIS XAR RENTAL TO ATTEND A GRADUATION CEREMONY. WHICH WE COULD NOT ATTEND DUE TO NOT GETTING THE RENTAL CAR.
