I very much enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable, and while the shower at first seemed like it would throw water all over the bathroom, that did not happen. I also enjoyed the free buffet breakfast. The location was central to many activities in downtown Chicago

Pros (+) The doormen who helped navigate the rideshare arrivals
Cons (-) The front desk staff acted like they worked at The Peninsula, not good ole' Residence Inn Marriott. The shower design in the room was just awful - showers were cold, and water was everywhere. The hotel was very loud.
Pros (+) The rooms all had kitchenettes and large bathrooms. Desk staff very attentive and polite. Great breakfast!
Cons (-) Parking expensive - used Spot Hero instead
