It’s a beautiful building and very well situated. I found the staff on check in rather abrupt and there was a fridge in the room that clicked on and off all night which was quite annoying. Otherwise it’s quite an experience staying there. The room was comfortable and clean. I would have liked a kettle in the room to be able to make a hot drink.

Did not like the hidden destination charge of $25plus tax that Hilton charges when you arrive at the hotel. All charges should be present at time of purchasing the room to be able to properly price shop each location.

the staff at the front desk were. not friendly, the line in the check in was very long, they did not have enough staff to attend the amount of guests they receive

Beautiful building. Upon arrival was told of $25 extra fee per day because it was an historic site. Had to pay another extra $25 per day because the reservation was not for the requested two beds. Have not been refunded the remainder of an additional amount of a $100 required deposit that wad unused.

The security staff on Friday night (Aug 30) was great. They gave me the feeling that things were safe but were not obtrusive. They happily answered questions and were friendly. However you could also see they took their job seriously. Two gentlemen deserve a raise. The staff at the Hilton honors desk was also very friendly. Happy to share suggestions about the hotel.
