9.7 Excellent
Pros: Awesome hotel and the breakfast was everything you read about. We stayed in #14 for four great nights. Wonderful room. Great bed, great towels and robe. Pool and hot tub were awesome as well. Spa service was literally the best massages we’ve ever had.
Cons: Our only issue was some construction noise from across the street that started most mornings around 7am which was less than ideal but obviously out of their control. Their parking lot is small. If you have a large suv for your group be prepared, parking can be tight.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast Wonderful location
Cons: First floor room was quite noisy at night due to walking above and thin floor/ceiling. Small room, not much room for luggage
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Pool was great to cool off in. Room was very comfortable and clean. Bottle of champagne for husbands birthday. Wine reception in evening. Breakfast was excellent!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the outside sit down areas, the pool was nice. The breakfast was amazing!
Cons: I did not like the car parking under the hotel room. It made it feel like a motel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good service, great breakfast and complementary wine.
Cons: It would be excellent if integrated into a bigger land not so much on top of the road.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff and breakfast.
Cons: Next time will get a bigger bed.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Needs scent free soap in the bathroom.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was wonderful (especially Kent!), breakfasts excellent, and overall a very relaxing trip
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service amazing! Food breakfast exceeded expectations special surprise. Great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is literally my favorite meal and Olea did not disappoint; I will stay here again just for the breakfast (to be fair, the pet-friendly rooms and patio/picnic area with wandering fawns helps this conclusion). I slept for almost 10 hours and I can't remember the last time that happened; there are truly serene and calm vibes at Olea. This is the perfect launching point for a day of wine tasting. We forgot our dog bed and food/water bowls but the staff had some to spare for us!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was phenomenal.
Cons: I give up

Pros: It’s gorgeous and super clean. It’s within walking distance to tasting rooms and restaurants. The bathrooms are amazing.
Cons: No dogs allowed so I can’t just come up for the night from SF with my fur baby which I would totally do.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved our room; clean contemporary design. Loved a fireplace and a sitting space outside. Nice casual restaurants with 5 minutes walk.
Cons: The floor in the bathroom was very cold. Our room was on the ground level. It would be nice to have sleepers. It will go nicely with the bathrobe:)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything about this charming boutique inn. The location, the staff, the visitors, and the food were all terrific. I am already looking forward to my next stay. It won’t be too long away! I
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jacquizz tub, bed was so comfortable, wine , cheese, saki, and cookies in the evening. Happy nice place to visit with other guests. Staff very accommodating. Breakfast is wonderfu
Cons: nothing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Super quiet, luxurious decor, complimentary wine and cheese platter, tea and home made cookies, as well as your choice of port or saki for a night cap was lovely. Inviting library / lounge with fireplace perfect for unwinding to ambiant jazz on a rainy night, and a tasty selection of options for breakfast with a lovely view of trees along the river.
Cons: The jetted tub was great - but it didn't drain well. Also the coffee maker in my room was not working.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and met each and every one of my requests. The breakfast was exceptional one of the better breakfast I've ever had staying at a hotel. There is free wine and sake in the lobby!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was really comf. The coffee particularly good.
Cons: I believe the safe needs to be bolted down for security.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Literally every single thing about it was phenomenal. It's easily the greatest place we have ever stayed, and it's not even close. I would recommend the Gaige House + Ryokan to everyone!! It's amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was lovely and the rooms were gorgeous. I loved everything about it.
Cons: There were ants in the room. I understand why, it was the woodside suite and very close to nature but yeah not the cutest having ants on your stuff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet retreat. Friendly and helpful staff. Great happy hour and hot breakfast. Location is close to several vineyards and restaurants. Very clean well appointed room with comfortable bed!
Cons: Nothing.
7.5 Good
Pros: The free wine, iced tea and biscuits is a nice touch. Not wine tasting but free wine!
Cons: We arrived at 9pm at night and there was no one at reception and key had been left in a locked box. We were not happy with our room on arrival but had no one to complain to. They did upgrade us to a beautiful room the next night but first impressions do count and they should forewarn people if they intend to do this.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything amazing facilities, staff were extremely friendly and great location.
Cons: Keep the Brits away, only half joking

Pros: The room is very comfortable and the location is good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Privacy
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and fun Innkeeper, Karen. Loved the Martini Bar! Fireplaces and hot tubs in each cottage added to the stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The setting is very nice - next to a creek that makes even more peacefully
Cons: The bed although comfortable was very creaky.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The outside surrounding very charming!
Cons: The only thing missing is no breakfast is served.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The cottages are behind the restaurant but very much feel like you're in a garden and are very quiet. Room was spacious and well thought out with coffee machine, fridge etc and plenty of toiletries. Very clean and nice decor.
Cons: It's a shame that breakfast is not offered on site. Narrow check-in time window.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Decor and location
Cons: No staff on site
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed seeing our old clients. The location was great. The AC worked really well. The steam in the shower worked great which was great! (the bathroom was freezing in the AM). I love the creekside location- so beautiful. Love the unit itself- well laid out and plenty of room to spread out!!
Cons: The bed was hard as a rock and had no comfort factor at all. I could not get comfortable no matter what. (I felt like I was trying to sleep on a hospital bed.) My husband passed out and didn't notice until 6 am when he got up and took a bike ride! I should travel with my topper mattress!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, central for the Napa/Sonoma wine area. Attached restaurant was outstanding. Fireplace in room was romantic and 4 poster bed was very nice. Unit was quiet and bed was almost as good as home, albeit, a double and we are used to a king. Came with a fridge, and wine tasting accoutrements. We did not use the in room hot tub, but it looked very nice with all those jets. Towels and amenities were in abundance.
Cons: Only thing we missed was a couch or large chair. Small table and two wicker type chairs was all that was provided. No seating other then the bed or these two chairs for watching TV.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: When management could only give us one cottage instead of two, Karen comped us generously with a gift certificate for their very nice restaurant. Christy, the bar tender and our waitress, was most pleasant and entertaining in addition to being very efficient. She enhanced our very enjoyable evening.
Cons: Due to a mixup in the reservation process, we could only get one cottage instead of the two I had reserved. Management,Karen, was very apologetic and helped us find another acceptable room at a nearby lodge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect spot for us - very spacious and well equipped
Cons: Nothing - really enjoyed our visit to the area - thanks!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The spa was amazing!! The pool was the perfect temperature and the couples massage was fabulous. The staff was so attentive to iur needs. The grounds are beautiful with the vines and olive trees and the fountain in the middle of thw courtyard.
Cons: Honestly, there is nothing that they could have done better. The spa was fantastic, the food at John Ash was amazing and the service all over the resort was world class.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Staff comes around super early for housekeeping, lawn maintenance starts at 8 am
6.3 Good
Pros: We stayed in a suite in the new block which was clean, spacious and comfortable. The food quality at all restaurants in the hotel is great cookies delivered at room service were very good
Cons: The service is somewhat patchy. The pool is largely un-attended and food and drink service is heavily restricted The pool is very small for the size of hotel and the size of the property There are certain hours in the day when you can't get any food at all, and food service ends very early by European standards. I would have loved a facility to make tea in the room eg a kettle.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s a lovely setting with many amenities. The room was comfortable, nice bed and pillows, fun to have a small balcony. A complementary half bottle of wine was a nice touch.
Cons: There was no desk or anywhere to sit with a computer. The shower controls were showing some wear and tear. Both very minor complaints. The price is a bit high...but that is true of all of Sonoma County these days. I don’t know how families can afford to visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is so beautiful, the rooms are really comfortable and we love the jogging path through the vineyard. The restaurants are great!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely grounds and super comfy beds
Cons: Pool area could be more attractive
5.5 Okay
Pros: The room was nice, well lit, and reasonably comfortable. The location was convenient to head any direction for wine tasting or other Sonoma County experiences.
Cons: The service was not consistent with a $500 per night room. The check-in staff was indifferent and there was no housekeeping service the second day. The mini-refrigerator, with a couple of bottles of complimentary water and soda was not refilled (disappointing), nor could I purchase more anywhere on site (confusing and unacceptable).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good food options. Lovely pool vineyards and work out area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds and rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet with a nice view
10.0 Excellent

Cons: A longer stay
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a very expensive area in the summer so while the rate was high for most places it was reasonable for this area. The woman who was responsible for the breakfast area, Jan?, was very knowledgeable about places to visit in the area. The facilities were excellent! The breakfast had a number of options and the room was quite comfortable. It got very nice sun in the afternoon as did the very nice pool area.
Cons: As mentioned above, the overall cost was high but this unfortunately is typical in this area.
9.1 Excellent

Cons: In general, its a good hotel. The bathroom was showing signs of wear and tear.
8.0 Excellent

6.8 Good
Pros: Outdoor space was very nice and well maintained
Cons: Not thrilled with the old furnishings. Bed was comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is freshly updated with a creative mid century flair! The center of what originally was parking is a beautifully landscaped garden with a zen feel. The breakfast bar has a delicious assortment of gourmet muffins, fresh fruit, coffee and tea in a comfortable lounge with opening floor to ceiling glass doors overlooking the garden. We will definitely stay here again!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to downtown was great (walked to Russian River and various restaurants), the coffee and pastries in the morning were clutch, the free parking was nice, and the hints of midcentury modern everywhere in the furniture, art, and some other accessories were a very nice complement to the motel layout. Great job renovating! Most front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The AC was quite loud, as was the fridge, and the room was bit dark, perhaps because it faced the courtyard? While I appreciate the architectural value of the polished concrete floor, it leaves the room a bit cold, metaphorically speaking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Super clean with unique furnishings with a retro style! Super fun convenient hotel
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Coffee and pastries provided in the morning. Room was very clean. The property was full the nights I stayed and it was extremely quiet.
Cons: I found it a little odd that my room did not have a clock or a phone. I needed extra towels and had to go downstairs to the front desk. (Towels were delivered promptly, however).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place with a lot of great touches. The decor was very cool and the amenities were nice. Loved the shower and the bed specifically. The coffee and pastry breakfast was nice but sparse. Overall a very nice place.
Cons: The breakfast offering was limited and there was no pool or spa that would justify the premium price. Parking was limited so we had to leave our car on the street.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ambiance, decor, comfortable bed/bedding, friendly staff, great coffee and breakfast pastries--altogether a great hotel experience!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Most comfortable hotel bed I have EVER stayed in.
Cons: A wine opener and some flatware in the room would have been great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pastries and coffee were very good
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved this place. Friendly people at reception, arty rooms that were well appointed, great location. I'd happily stay here again. A very relaxing environment. This all cost a bit more than I had been paying elsewhere but I thought it was worth it. Lisa (General manager) was really nice and had time to chat.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was coffee w/assorted muffins, self serve. Rooms are uniquely decorated on the astro theme and very comfortable. Saff was very friendly at all times of the day we met them.I would say it is a fine boutique motel and do not let the idea of MOTEL deter you.
Cons: Shower was sufficient, I personally am not a fan of Rainshower type head. I like to have more pressure but it was ok.

Pros: Breakfast was great. The room was comfortable
Cons: No fan in The bathroom. Could use a mirror in the room
8.0 Excellent
Cons: No
7.5 Good
Cons: I had the breakfast. all the breakfast items were cold right out of the steam table. I forced myself to eat cold sausage, eggs and gravy, because I did not have time to get breakfast somewhere else by then. Also, I left a electric toothbrush in the bathroom, I called later and it was not returned by the cleaning staff. That is unacceptable, the staff that has access to your room should be more trustworthy.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to the freeway but very quiet. Very clean, big tv, comfortable beds and good quality linens. Pretty filling breakfast, not of restaurant quality, but pretty acceptable. Coffee and wine in the hallway!!
Cons: Outdated, old design in rooms and bathrooms, and equipment in the gym and swimming pool. Very noisy AC/heater.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff at this hotel treated us like royalty throughout our stay. Our every need was met, and service from check in, to room service, to placing our bags in a new room when we moved to a bigger room on our second night, to the outstanding server at breakfast each day, and to the shuttle driver to the airport was first rate. The rooms were clean, updated and spacious. Parking is ample and the hotel is in a nice area, next to a vineyard. Will absolutely stay next time we are in the area.
Cons: Only negative was the noisy parents and kids slamming their door on the deadbolt next door to us our first night. The hotel dealt with this effectively as soon as we complained. I have NO complaints about the hotel facilities or staff, which is rare. This place does everything right.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room. Cleanliness Close place to the facility that I visited.
Cons: Everything was acceptable.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good food, high prices
Cons: Cheaper when you spend 5 nights.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean.
Cons: Over priced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was absolutely perfect
5.8 Okay
Pros: the location was perfect for where we were going.
Cons: The hotel is in the middle of an renovation, restaurant was good but an upcharge for breakfast. Parking was limited as a great deal of the parking lot was taken up by equipment and storage containers for the renovation. Over priced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this hotel!!! Staff was amazing! Super friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Breakfast attendant was the sweetest she made my day! Indoor pool was great. Restaurants in walking distance. Great stay!
Cons: Nothing.

7.5 Good
Pros: The pool is lovely and the room is beautiful.
Cons: During the checkin at 1AM, my room wasn't ready. They told me I would get a call once the room was ready. At 5PM I still didnt receive a call, so I walked up to the reception. There was a failure in the system and I waited till 7PM until someone showed me the room. They couldn't produce any roomkeys. This issue stayed till checkout. So I had to wait all the time till someone was available to walk with me to the room to open the door. There was no empathy once so ever in the beginning. Later that evening, they did apologise for the inconvenience. No compensation till the evening when I started complaining. I received 2 breakfast vouchers. My colleague stayed in room 246. Hard buzzing sound all night, which made it impossible to get to sleep. Since the system was down, it wasn't possible to get another room. I wouldnt recommend this hotel due to this experience.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful lobby & even greeted you with a glass of wine.
Cons: Put us in a handicap room. Did not realize at 1st until we tried to shower..lol..the nozel was half our height so we had to hold in hand while trying to wash hair. That was a little akward.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to spend the weekend in Sonoma. The hotel has nice facilities and it’s close to restarants im Santa Rosa
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool Outdoor gardens and fire pit very nice Wine bar in lobby fun
Cons: Dirty and kind of run down around the edges: My room was. Ice hit the chair hadn’t been cleaned and there was hair on it, the bathroom next to the pool was filthy, the carpets in the stairs were quite stained
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Interior, fireplace in the lobby and a bonfire spot in the courtyard.
Cons: Paid parking. I think that it should be free.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Can not say enough about the staff! Beyond helpful, clearly they enjoy their jobs. Will always stay here when given the opportunity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the event we attended
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms, staff and areas to relax such as lobby & pool.
Cons: There is not a nice bar area or restaurant, closed at the times I was needing them.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fine. Location was fine. Guest services were wonderful. Fast response, polite, friendly and accomodating. Lots of hot water and a great shower. Clean and beautiful room. That is about everything good I can say.
Cons: The AC did not work well, the room was very hot and uncomfortable in that way. A couple of small stains on the furniture. The trickery of the bottled water in the room, with tiny writing advising the water was $4.00 a bottle.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything and everyone was great. Beautiful rooms and hotel was lovely. Had all you need.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the rain shower shower head!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean as a whistle. The mounted television was GIGANTIC (wow). The room was quiet at night and there were plenty of amenities like multiple plugs for the iPhone an iPad. Breakfast arrived precisely when ordered and the pancakes and coffee were piping hot and delicious.
Cons: Check in was a bit gnarly, but it was 5pm on a Saturday, so I let that go. They desk people were hard to reach from the room. Don't know why. My main complaint was the pool, which was beautiful and surrounded by lovely places to lounge. But the pool itself wasn't clean; I could see hair clumps and other unidentifiable floating objects. My 6 year old daughter was determined to get in for a swim, so I turned a blind eye, but yuck.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were so comfy. Rooms are spacious. Bathroom has magnifying mirror. Shower was fabulous. All was so quiet. Perfect stay.
Cons: No complimentary breakfast and the morning counter coffee disappeared very early-before 8am!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is my 3rd time staying at the hotel, and each visit has been a pleasant experience!
7.5 Good
Pros: Missed the breakfast. Almost had to bribe the young waitress for a cup of coffee in the lobby at 8:30 am.
Cons: Not tissues in the room. This is an amenity one associates with solid middle class places like Holiday Inn. I got the sense that management was cutting corners with tissues and coffee....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My Breakfast was amazing. More Inportantly Samantha, (who served my breakfast) was awesome. She was even kind enough to share local knowledge on the town of Windsor. I found it to be very informational and interesting. All of the staff was so kind and helpful. I couldn’t be more grateful.
Cons: I just wish the pool and whirlpool was open. Unfortunately it was closed for renovations.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very convenient location
Cons: Service was limited, felt understaffed

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was VERY clean and had great amenities.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent adjacent to 101 freeway and Old Redwood Hwy. Easy trip (40min) to Calistoga / St Helena area for wedding on Memorial Day wknd when Bottle Rock was on and Napa Valley sold out. Convenient to Sonoma Valley wineries such as Copain.
Cons: The closet door would not stay open and the space between it and the bathroom door was tight which was aggravating and made dressing a bit awkward. Also, the lighting was AWFUL except for the bathroom. No lighting at the closet or the area where the coffee maker was located. Only lights in the room were bedside lights and one floor lamp. Fine One window was jammed so we could not open it which we would have preferred vs using AC. Mgmt should make sure windows are operable to save on AC costs!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable
Cons: The hotel was over priced

5.0 Okay
Pros: Pricing
Cons: This hotel had very thin walls. Also lots of road noise. Many people crammed above room capacity as well. The breakfast bar was also a complete mess.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were great as well as the breakfast.
Cons: Coffe not so great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent
Cons: We were given a handicap room that had a concrete overhang that blocked not only any view of anything but made the room dark all day. Room 217 is terrible
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great. Very efficient and friendly. I was given a complimentary snack and waters at check in. Also, I received a text message from the staff member who checked me in to ask if things were ok in my room and if I needed anything. I thought it was an overall great hotel stay experience. They had a selfie station in the hall near the elevator which I thought was such a fun idea.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: My mom really enjoyed the morning breakfast because it had everything that she enjoyed
Cons: There no food places inside the hotel throughout the night and day
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good staff
Cons: Overpriced due to the NASCAR races nearby
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great!
Cons: The pillows were not good
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice big room and good location.
Cons: Very small TV for a large room, felt the paper products were on the cheap side. Didn't like that the handicap room was on the 4th floor and we were not given any information on what to do in the event of an emergency since we had a 90 year old elder with us. There was also no information in the handicap room on what should be done in the event of an emergency. The person I spoke to said it was OUR responsibility to notify them we had an elder. I feel that the agent checking us in should have been pro-active and informed us. How were to know? Luckily, there was no fire or any other emergency.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Quick check in after a long day of driving.
Cons: The work out room was sparsely equipped. Not the worst by any means, but far from the nicest setup.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I like the location. It is very close to family.
Cons: When we checked in, we were given a room that had not been cleaned. Also, we were awoken early in the morning with a fire evacuation. I was told oatmeal cooked in the kitchen microwave had burned and set off the fire alarm.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn fare, nothing to write home about. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: The rate was the highest we've ever paid at a Hampton, and the day we arrived the rates went down but we weren't allowed to take advantage of it. And we are Hilton honors members. For paying 352.00 a night they should have at least made the attempt to service our room. There was certainly ample time, we were there 2 nights and it was never serviced.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I would rate the breakfast as average. The coffee was good. We really liked the room. We had a sofa, a counter with sink for coffee, and the usual comfortable bed that Hampton Inns have. It was nice to have a handicapped bathroom, which at first I thought would be for a wheelchair to roll into (which we did not need), but turned out to be a vertical bar to hold when showering. The staff was helpful and pleasant.
Cons: When we arrived, the bathroom sink and part of the counter, and the top of the tissue box was dirty. It was a red wet substance similar to strawberry jelly with orange on the edges. This is very unusual for a Hampton Inn. The room cleaner cleaned the sink without our having to tell her. I cleaned the counter and the top of the tissue box as soon as I saw the substance.

7.0 Good
Pros: The rooms and beds are always very comfortable.
Cons: The original room I was given had a view of the roof tiles meeting and small glimpse of the parking lot. No surprise the roof was very dirty & was guly to look at. Its a roof. If when Iooked out the window I was not looking at filth and bit of a lower price than the other rooms at the same rate with windows I may have not insisted on being moved. Also, there is a huge parking lot, incredibly larger than the other hotels in the area amd they add a $10 fee for parking. No other hotel charges a parking fee. Also, the fee for my dog is higher than other locations and its also daily. Then after all these added fees if you want breakfast you pay another $20 - $30 charge per a person. Just not as classy as their competitor down the steeet.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff. Good location.
Cons: A/C didn’t work. Not clean. High price
7.0 Good
Pros: Love this hotel. We have stayed a few times. Pretty busy this weekend with tons of kids. The blonde lady tending bar on Saturday night was beyond rude!! She barely acknowledged us and then seemed very annoyed to even assist with our order. Pool needs food service!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was great staff very friendly
Cons: Price of breakfast after paying over $200 for two rooms, to be told breakfast would be $21.00 each is outragous, very upsetting. One of the party lost a night gown we called right away and were told it was not there.????
7.0 Good
Pros: They take pets.
Cons: They did not have movies or Netflix available.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is always great
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Room was quiet
Cons: Reseptionist was rude. No eye contact and no instructions about the amenities of the hotel, breakfast etc. Took $40 for deposit on sign in to room, then $30 the following morning. Now 2 days later another $40 has been charged to my card.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Area
Cons: No
7.0 Good
Pros: It was very clean and cozy and the staff were very friendly.
Cons: Did not get complimentary breakfast and had to pay $10 for parking. I feel like that should come with the room for the price I paid.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice lobby
Cons: Parking $10, a lot of dog poo on the paths. Bathrooms need updating
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is always friendly & accommadating. The room was very clean, spacious & had a comfortable bed. Plenty of parking & great food.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Facilities were great and it was dog friendly which is a massive plus for all but really, really dog friendly having a treat station and water bowls and making our dog feel welcome. Staff are kind and welcoming and the thick curtain allow a great night sleep!
Cons: All good!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: staff was accommodating and friendly, great breakfast buffet
Cons: the hallways smelled musty, could have been because it rained all week, chairs inside the rooms could be cleaner
4.0 Okay
Cons: Google maps took us in circles, so finally went to the OTHER Holiday Inn across the freeway for directions. Exhausted at 1 in the morning and they had given away our room! Then took FOREVER to find another room. Unprofessional and disorganized.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly. Room comfortable.
Cons: Under construction. Parking minimal due to this.
7.5 Good
Pros: Bed was very comfortable, shower was great as well as breakfast.
Cons: It was remodeling and I wasn’t aware, it was not pleasant to walk along the aisle (that was prepared for remodeling, not for guests), staff was very noisy and it seemed they were having barbecue that was smelling very strong along the night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: We used the spa and noticed a rusted razor in the hot tub. Very disturbing and unexpected. Spoke to front desk and emailed manager. Still waiting to hear back

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, comfy bed, all new facilities. Very clean. Breakfast included hot items, scrambled eggs, sausages and waffles.
Cons: There is extensive updating being done so the hot tub was unavailable, which was a big disappointment. Parking was tight with all the new materials containers taking up space.

Pros: The swimming pool and outdoor are is amazing! The staff is really great too.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The pool and bar
Cons: Slow service, pool party that was unexpected and meant no parking, lack of pool towels. Room not cleaned during stay
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The layout of the blocks and the ease of access to your room from your car was great. The pool area was nice and certainly made it feel resort-like.
Cons: Most of the hotel is in need of refurbishment. The lighting isn't very good which adds to feeling of the place being a little old and tired. Overall, though it's not a bad place to stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: They were willing to give us a better room than the one we had booked at a discount price on booking. The second room was lovely and on the 2nd floor. I suggest asking for rooms in the 300's or 400's which are the refurbished wings and the second floor. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
Cons: The first room we were given was older and musty. It was right next to the entry door for the room across from us and the stairs up to the room above so it was very noisy.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything is bad. Worst experience EVER.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Azura in Santa Rosa, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate and Gardens and Sonoma County Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Cons: The first two rooms they assigned us to were disasters; they hadn't yet been made up. That was a bit awkward.
5.5 Okay
Cons: Internet didn’t work in room. Tv didn’t work til I unplugged and rebooted system. No conditioner for hair. Could not make a regular cup of coffee. Machine only made cap. No continental breakfast. No staff at front desk at 730 am. Door locked.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: For US, former Santa Rosa residents, the location is perfect. That may not be the case for others.
Cons: There seems to be a disconnect between housekeeping and maintenance as what seem to me to be small repairs don't get done and surprise not only guests and the folks at reception. That says to me that the people who clean the rooms are either not looking or not reporting.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: good location, reasonable price for the area, quiet, comfortable
Cons: why put a frosted glass door to the bathroom? every time someone got up to use the restroom the bathroom light flooded the whole bedroom like daytime. very very annoying!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room was updated, modern and comfortable. Bed and pillows were very nice. Air conditioner and refrigerator we’re excellent. Nice TV and great shower. The room is attractive.
Cons: There is a total lack of organizational systems and management in place. We stayed two nights and our room was not cleaned once. Our card key locked us out when we came back to the room on our second day. Two of the three dresser drawers were missing their pulls so could not be used. And here’s one I’ve never seen-the tiny closet did not have a rod to hang clothes on. You had to hang clothes on the edge of a shelf. So when you pulled a hanger out other hangers fell to the floor. Also, the lobby offers nothing to guests-no snacks, no coffee or drinks, and no restaurant or breakfast offerings.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Website stated free continental breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and facility were very well kept and very clean. It’s located walking distance from a dozen or so great restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I loved the bathroom and finally I found a hotel with good coffee!! I travel for work and stay in many hotels, this one is going on my short list. I’d bring my wife on vacation here too.
Cons: I would say that there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this hotel. I enjoyed staying here. Even on the ground floor and being only 1/4 mile from the freeway I heard no road noise. I’m always a little apprehensive when I stay in a none chain hotel, but this property was excellent.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is an exceptional renovation of an old travel lodge. Fantastic bed the renovation of the bathroom is really beautiful. Everything is first rate
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were modern and clean, the beds very comfortable, Illy coffee pod machine in room for espresso or coffee, fridge and flat screen TV. It is walking distance to The Naked Pig restaurant which is hands down the best breakfast place in town but very expensive. If you like cheap breakfast it is right next door to Adel’s Restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Cons: The rooms are a bit noisy from the cars on the street, this location seems like they upgraded a Super 8 or like hotel. Don’t let that scare you away. It is nice in the rooms and a deal for this town. There is an ice machine that looks like it was broken and left in the parking lot. Adding a box around it would change that appearance.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful room and super comfy beds!
Cons: It's a stretch to call this a boutique hotel. We needed help with the shower and I called the front desk and no one answered. Then I walked to the front desk and the door was locked. It was only 7pm...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No

Pros: Location was great.

Pros: Excellent comfortable large room on 2nd floor overlooking pool. Quiet. Although only a motel this was far better than many an hotel. Our expectations were not high in advance so this was a very pleasant surprise. Nice pool.
Cons: We had no car but had friends with car so OK. There is a target store and some restaurants in walking distance but otherwise location probably not suitable if no car.

Cons: The staff was not friendly and I asked for some water to drink and the clerk stated that they didn't have any water although there was a case of water quite visible behind her on a table. To get to and from our rooms we had to step over other guests sitting on the steps in our way, even late at night. The grounds were very dirty too
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Located to all types of restaurants, n shopping.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was well lit, the TV and A/C functioned properly, furniture was not dated and the desk w/ the chair was a nice touch. There is a fridge in the room, but never opened it. Bed sheets were clean, as well as the towels. The vanity was nice, as well. The breakfast staff is the BEST. Thanks for making my waffles. You guys rock.
Cons: As I was away from the property most of the day, the traffic noise was not noticeable until the morning I left. I didn't realize my room faced the freeway and most susceptible to the passing traffic noise. Perhaps better insulation may help with the noise reduction. Maybe I should’ve just turned the TV volume higher to drown out the traffic (jk).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We just needed a hotel for a quick one night on our way to our destination. It was great; Refrigerator, microwave, soap and shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower, clean and comfortable bed. What more can you ask? I was pleasantly surprised/grateful
6.8 Good
Pros: The ladies at breakfast are awesome! Very accommodating!
Cons: My child is terrified of spiders and there was a spider on the bed. Need better options for vending machines.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the staff was so friendly. it's the first BW I've ever stayed that their staff will even cook you their signature waffle
Cons: room is a little too small though
