10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Wydown Hotel is always my first choice for staying in Napa Valley. It is centrally located, near enough to all of my favorite wineries, and close to local shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and breakfast is simple but nice. Trays were provided so I could bring food and coffee up to our room. Finally, the staff is friendly and helpful. My husband and I always enjoy our stays here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The vibe of Wydown was splendid. I reached out to the hotel before I arrived and asked for recommendations on wineries to visit and restaurants to dine. I was treated like a familiar friend and emailed a full list of places to visit. Wydown is very convenient to town; we walked to our first night restaurant and to Gott's Roadside on the second night. Parking was behind the building. The room was amazing; even had slippers for us. Homemade delicious chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon; champagne to celebrate my birthday; a delightful breakfast with delights from the top bakeries in town. The only negative in our experience was having to leave. My three grown daughters and I felt like treasured guests at Wydown and will be returning to our St. Helena home away from home.
Cons: Having to leave after two days. This would have been a splendid place to stay for several days while visiting a variety of small towns in the Napa Valley.

The room is just perfect, very clean, stylish, has everything we need and a jacuzzi and fireplace were nice bonuses. All of the staff were very nice too. Loved the spa.
Cons: I though that pool will be a bit bigger and unfortunately it was huge construction going on right next to it. So you can't e actually relax with all that noise and people around. Breakfast was ok, small, enough for one night stay. For the money we paid I just expected a bit more from facilities.

Pros: Lovely location and surroundings
Cons: Breakfast was ridiculously expensive.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were exceptional - friendly, helpful, went out of their way to accommodate. Beautiful, quiet location.
Cons: An event taking place there took up a huge chunk of the parking lot - horrible parking problems as a result. Also, the hostess in the grill obviously didn’t know what a buffet is. We were in a hurry and only had time to eat if there was a buffet. I ran in to ask this, she said they do have a buffet for breakfast. My husband then spent a long time trying to find a parking place, he came back and before we sat down I asked the host again if they have a buffet and she assured me they did. No, they don’t! Frustrating. However, upon hearing this at checkout the gentleman assisting me waved our in room dining expenses from the last morning. Very much appreciated this! Thank you.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: house keeping, I couldn't get rid of them, thought i had 5 extra gustrs for the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the peaceful settings with loads of activity to do. Did not have to leave property for anything - a true vacation with adult children

Guests can choose between suite and studio options for their accommodations. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV and counter top with coffee and tea making equipment. There are also wellness options like yoga classes and spa treatments to leave guests feeling well rested and rejuvenated both physically and mentally. And not only is Solage dog friendly, they also offer certain activities specifically for man’s best friend. There is even zip lining and hot air ballooning to be done through the beautiful landscape of Napa Valley.
5.5 Okay
Cons: Way too many bugs. Staff was average. Way way overpriced
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extraordinary in terms of personality, knowledge, working with the guest....
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and modern. Staff tried very hard to be friendly.
Cons: Totally overpriced. My breakfast there was not good. They got the order all wrong. Also had some really bad shrimp for lunch one day.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was clean and beautifully maintained. The grounds were stunning. The spa service was great!
Cons: Customer service was not up to par. We asked the staff for three things while staying. A second bike, as we only had one and they stated it would be on it way. Never received. Our AC went out, it took two hours and 3 phone calls to get them to our room. We called room service for orange juice one morning, 30 minutes later it wasn’t delivered so I called and canceled. Just no sense of urgency with this hotel which makes the experience differ in a negative way compared with other properties similar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Loved the wine event happening on site while we were there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really appreciate the attention to providing service and ensuring a very enjoyable stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: Very crowded
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Gardens, grounds, loved, loved mineral pools, friendly atmosphere, wine reception made my marriage celebration amazing ❤️, chocolate in bed, concierge day trip arrangements were great
Cons: Wished Mattress had a foam topper and mineral pools were open until 10pm.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really loved the kind and quick to respond staff. Everything is super clean and nice. Free Nespresso, water, nice bathroom.
Cons: Our fridge was broke and got another one that never really got cold. No biggie as it was adequate for the kid's yogurt. Beverages provided for free but were not cold and satisfying. Room AC was broke but they worked diligently to fix and did offer another room for us. Relocating was a hassle with children so we spent the day at the pool. Speaking of pool, the nice big beautiful pool is for adults only. This is a great place for those who have yet to reproduce or have them out of the nest already. Although there is a small pool and hot tub at the back area which kids like well enough. For families, Indian Springs is what you want (unfortunately, they were full on this trip).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent. Facilities fine.
Cons: The maintenance of the room was poor: A/C went out and had to call staff. Door jammed and they had to come and tighten the hinges, the return air vent just fell open and a screw dropped out in the middle of us watching TV. The TV system does not work and few channels, not even HBO.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: didnt go for breakfast - plenty of options to try up the road in Calistoga village or 10 k away in Yountville
Cons: all pretty perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food, pool and service. I do have to say however, there could have been better service in the loop area. There were times we couldn’t find towels or we had to walk in the restaurant to order food or drinks.
Cons: The bike chains were all rusted and about to crack.

Pros: It was our third visit and we love Indian Springs. Upside is the lovely property, comfortable rooms and the amazing pool.
Cons: Because the weather wasn't good, we did notice the lack of a place to hang out, although the staff at Sam's Social Club is great--it really isn't a lounge. I also thought the prices were somewhat high for the off season

Pros: The homemade breakfast every day was a treat to look forward to. I loved having a different meal each day we were there. French press coffee on the table was another wonderful surprise. I appreciated the complimentary wine in the afternoon and also free, cold, water bottles to help ourselves to as we headed out for the day. Off street parking behind the property was nice
Cons: This was not a problem for me, but the inside stairs up to the second level are steep. If you have a problem with stairs, choose a first floor room.

Pros: Everything was so beautiful and very relaxing. I will be back very soon. Thank you
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this place! Perfect location, adorable farmhouse with super stylish decorating style, plushly comfortable rooms, and the most beautiful gardenscape property. Mimi and Ed are so welcoming and easy to talk to. We had an amazing stay :)
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was nice to have a more home like feel rather than the standard hotel. The other guests were quite nice. The house itself is beautiful.
Cons: Our room was not clean. There were cob webs and mosquitos. I came home with two large bug bites during the night. Thankfully we were there just one night. The breakfast was weak for the price of the room. Other B&B’s I’ve stayed at in Napa area have a much larger spread with bigger portions. We were served one plate with a couple of eggs and french toast and bad drip coffee. Nothing special.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The grounds, in particular the vegetable garden, were amazing with so many little “wonders” greeting you as you wandered through it. Lovingly “curated” by the innkeepers, especially Mimi, who generously shared her passion for organic gardening, as well as her love of French country living.
Cons: Sorry, not applicable!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners were fabulous! Warm, welcoming, incredibly hospitable. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful garden. Super comfortable. Great location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beautiful property, delicious fresh produce, and our host!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, comfortable, beautiful residence.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mimi and Ed were delightful! They made us feel like we were in our own home. Mimi’s breakfasts were outstanding, awesome and delicious. She is a gourmet cook & all the veggies came fresh out of their beautiful gardens. We also enjoyed fresh eggs daily from their hens. Don’t pay attention to the review about their dog. Their dog Baby was sweet and never bothered us at all. She was fun to have around.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Check in was easy. Host and hostess lovely. Liked we could book for one night only.
Cons: Breakfast could have been more lavish and included baked rolls and meat.

Pros: I like everything in this hotel except the mattress and pillows. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable and we wake up with head ache. But this is the only one thing we do not like, so I very recommend this hotel because everything was perfect.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect option in the Napa Valley area! The bedroom is really good and the bed is perfect! I was traveling with my mom and a friend and everyone were really happy with the hotel! The breakfast is really good and the staff was really helpful and nice to us! They helped us with my mom's late check-in and gave travel tips about the area. The pool area is really good and cozy! Totally recommend! I had a great experience at this hotel!
Cons: Everything was really good. Not a single complain.
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was nice, location fine.
Cons: The pool and hot tub were closed, and there was no information stating that. In addition, they wanted us to move our vehicles first thing in the morning for repaving. They ended up canceling this, but not great for leisurely breakfast.

Pros: Bed was nice. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Towels were not thick and fluffy. Hard to dry off because they are so thin.

Pros: The breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is great and the facilities are clean and have everything you might want.
6.8 Good
Pros: Convenient location for what we were doing and why we were staying here
Cons: Lobby/office closed at 11. No access to water fountain and no water in vending machine and we arrive a little before check and a room wasn’t ready (we were ok with that) but the receptionist said she’d call us when a room was ready, even verified phone number and as we waited, we never received a call.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Customer Service was excellent. Amenities, facilities and breakfast were all great.
Cons: We could hear the people next door knocking around late into the night, I suggest that beds should not be placed on two sides of the same wall.

Pros: Boutique, small, lovely countryside property- not far from main roads, but feels remote. Quiet, beautiful grounds.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were so impressed by our stay at the Wine Country Inn. The location was perfect with lovely views, the bed was incredibly comfortable and they made lovely choices with their remodel. Everyone who worked there was incredibly kind, even letting us drop off wine we had purchased during the week before our check in time (as well as holding it after our check out time) to ensure it wouldn’t be sitting in our warm car. Our room was in the building above the kitchen and office and we never had an issue with noise or anything. The breakfast was also a really wonderful touch... delicious quiches and frittatas, beautifully made fresh baked goods, fruit etc... it was wonderful to be able to stay at the hotel patio overlooking the vineyard for breakfast. I wholeheartedly have now recommended this hotel to our friends who may be traveling in the area - out of all of the hotels we stayed at while in the valley, this was by far our favorite and even more affordable... we would skip the others next time and come straight here...
Cons: Nothing / everything was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and cozy
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This was our third time here— quiet, understated, a peaceful getaway.
Cons: All the rooms are wonderful, but I do like some more than others. I wish we had been able to request more specifically what we wanted. Perhaps that was because we went through a third party.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere. Price
Cons: Every thing

Pros: A nice large room in a conveniently located property close to downtown St Helena. Great gym and spa, simple but tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Pros: Excellent room with separate living room Lovely breakfast Spa facilities are excellent 5 mins walk into StHelena
Cons: The hotel has very limited grounds
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was handled with attention to detail and aesthetic. All staff were warm and completely responsive.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
6.3 Good
Pros: location and staff
Cons: Bed. it was the most uncomfortable bed I have stayed in. So hard. not sure if I could stay here again due to the bed unless they fix the issue. This was the 2nd time I've stayed here and it was the same last year, so not just the room I was in
5.1 Okay
Cons: It's been 16 years since my first stay. The peeling paint and lack of timely hot water and marred furniture indicate maintenance isn't a priority for the price.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Coffee maker uses Illy espresso pods.
Cons: The air conditioning was not up to the task and we had to move to another room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was spacious and beautiful, as was the bathroom. The hotel property isn't large, but it's beautifully planted and has all the amenities one needs. I won't forget the wonderful smell of the olive trees there. It is close to the shops and restaurants in St. Helena and is a perfect play to stay if you want to experience the Napa Valley. I hated to leave!
6.3 Good
Cons: The rooms are very basic and need of an update. Definitely not worth $400/night
9.5 Excellent
Pros: King Preferred room was very spacious. Walls were well-insulated and we could not hear our neighbors. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was nice, sufficient and very convenient. Free apples and bottled water were a nice touch. Access to Health Spa was also a nice added touch. Location is fantastic! We mostly walked to where we wanted to go.
Cons: There were quite a few bugs (spiders, mosquitoes, flies) in our room even though we hadn't opened any of the windows or kept the door to our room open. We weren't sure where they were coming from but every night as we would be getting ready to go to bed, we would see a spider on the wall or a mosquito or fly flying around.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, up-to-date, romantic
Cons: Very common bathroom

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The setting was beautiful. Lovely cottages set within Redwood trees and facing a vineyard. Altogether very charming.
Cons: The rooms were a little gloomy but we had a balcony overlooking the vineyard so it was lovely to sit there. The pool was wonderful except there was no restroom nearby, you had to return to your room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, quiet and quick access to all wineries. Staff was extremely helpful. Accommodations felt more like in a secluded French villa- almost cottage like facing lovely courtyards. Breakfast was delicious!
Cons: Concierge came in late so never able to access her experience. Same food served daily for breakfast- all delicious but would have liked a little more variety
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Traffic noise on rooms next the road
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I love the location of the Harvest Inn and the beautiful setting up against the vineyards and foothills. We did not eat on the property but did enjoy the coffee each morning. The rooms are beautifully appointed. The bed is nice. But be sure you know which room view you are getting.
Cons: The checkin clerk was very inattentive and it took a bit of waiting to get checked in. Our room was very dark which has no easy fix since we were in the Redwood Grove. The last time we stayed we had a vineyard view and although I thought I was booking the same room, I did not get it this time. I thought the price of the room was a bit high for the room we ended up with so when booking be sure to confirm your view. Also, we did not have maid service until 4 PM. She was delightful, but must be overworked.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Grounds were pretty.
Cons: Very strong fireplace smoke smell in the rooms.

Pros: The hotel was very good. The pool and outside spa area were great. The bar next store, Johnny's was fantastic - great staff and service !! The wine tasting in the evening was fantastic !!

Cons: heating devise control should be fixed: we set it to 68 and it jumps to 73 automatically
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villa Mimosa is such a lovely property. Very close to downtown Calistoga. Our room was super clean. Our bed felt so comfy and super soft sheets. It’s very quiet there and peaceful. Every morning, there was a beautiful breakfast with mimosas! The staff is so gracious. Polly, the owner was very welcoming when we arrived. There’s also some nice seating areas outside, 2 water fountains, even a rooftop area to watch the sunset.
Cons: Nothing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a very pretty, small B&B with plenty of outdoor space overlooking peaceful fields. The gardens are lovely and the ambience is very relaxing - just perfect after four days in San Francisco. Room - bed very comfortable, shower good and nice little area to sit outside privately. Breakfast was excellent. It’s a short drive to Calistoga from the Villa, a very authentic Napa Valley town with several good places to eat. The owners of the Villa are just great and very friendly — we enjoyed talking with them and learning about the area.
Cons: I loved Villa Mimosa - it was a delight to spend time there. I can fully recommend.
5.8 Okay
Pros: great location. Staff was courteous.
Cons: cleanlines, design of the rooms, sound insulation
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Extremely comfortable stay. Room was adequately sized and the bed was huge and super comfortable. Staff were al friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived to breakfast and when I left.
Cons: Slightly earlier breakfast, maybe from 08:00/08:30 not 09:00. Also, I don’t usually eat hot breakfast such as bacon so felt bad when it was made for me.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting just a short drive north of Calistoga's main drag. Lovely outdoor areas, including private patio off the bathroom. Clean, tasteful, and comfortable, with a very good bed and nice touches such as robes, high-end linens, DVDs/player, fridge in room, and microwave available on patio. Breakfast is ample and tasty. Hosts were very nice, responsive to our needs, and very promptly and cheerfully lent us a phone charging cable.
Cons: The indoor space was not good for hanging out. We stayed in Room 2, which is quite small and felt dark and airless since the one small window looked out on the patio--we kept blinds down for privacy (the other window was on the door from the bathroom to the patio, which also didn't really allow for much light into the main room). Only one chair for sitting, and bedside lamps are not good for reading. Breakfast is served on the outdoor patio, so vulnerable to temperature (and weather) extremes. Has more of a corporate feel than more charming B&Bs. Still, we're glad we stayed, and considering it's Napa Valley, it was more reasonably priced than a lot of places.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a little slice of Tuscany in Calistoga. The place is incredibly relaxing with comfortable beds with luxury linens to wonderful outdoor spaces. The staff, especially Maria, were warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious and it was a nice touch to start the day with a Mimosa.
Cons: There were no issues at all.
