Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Pools were lovely and clean (slightly chilly for my taste). Adults only area was nice. Only tried the patio restaurant which was very good, but pricey ($50 for french toast, OJ, single egg and sausage).
Cons: Room air conditioner had issues. Maintenance was unable to solve the issue and did not notify front desk that the issue was not fixed.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Still holding money on my credit card.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had an excellent time, highlight was that our room window opened fully, facing the ocean. Beautiful!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Service
Cons: Nothing
Okay 4.2
Cons: I arrived at 3:40 pm and was told that the room I booked is not available. The front desk staff guaranteed that it would be ready by 4pm, but when I came back at 4:06pm I was told again the room is not ready. I finally checked in by 5pm and nobody explained why. They gave me two key cards and one doesn't work which kept me out of the room when I came back from swimming the other day. It is the most terrible experience that I have and I definitely don't recommend this hotel
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooms were luxurious yet charming, the staff was very helpful and the pool/lounge area was great
Cons: Not much to dislike.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Pool area

Okay 5.4
Pros: Pool is nice and access to Stellaris is great.
Cons: Cleanliness is ok but bathrooms have a lot of mildew and the cleaning products they are using smell like hospital disinfectant. Not pleasant.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: The space was trendy and appealing, the staff was very friendly and Josie gave great recommendations of things to do. We went to the sister property to use their beach facilities which were very nice, accommodating, and not too far of a walk, but they have an amazing pool/pool area if you don't want to take the walk.
Cons: The room was EXTREMELY cold. The temp stayed around 64-66 the entire time which for both of us was unbearable. The first 2 days we tried adjusting the air ourselves, eventually we had to have maintenance come up who tried to get the air down then off to no avail. We eventually had to have it shut off from the main system but thank goodness we had a balcony and suite room so we could close off the bedroom and open the balcony door to warm things up.
Excellent 9.4
Cons: Great location near breakfast places and nightlife.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Olive Boutique Hotel was absolutely perfect for a solo traveler or couple staying in the Condado area of Puerto Rico. The location was great. It is situated just off of Ashford Avenue where all the hustle and bustle is, BUT remains relatively quiet because of its juxtaposition. The staff was awesome and so friendly. They really got to know you as a guest in the hotel and they were all so helpful with tips and finding your way around the island. I went solo for a birthday vacation and my stay was beyond wonderful. My room was comfy, cozy, and gorgeous. I received little treats everyday and even a bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday! Everything is in walking distance and the beach is just across the street! What more could you ask for?
Cons: The fact that I had to leave!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Its an amazing boutique hotel Better than expected!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Olive Hotel was first class service. Wonderful staff. Very friendly and my wife and I always looked forward going back to relax and the roof top bar and pool was just perfect!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Every staff interaction was terrific. Friendly, eager, helpful, welcoming. Front desk, restaurant (tapas bar, food and staff shine!) History just walks the halls with you! The rooftop pool and hot tub with harbor view at sunset was something special. Then we left a coat behind, and discovered it after our cruise ship left, they packed it up and Shipped it home.
Cons: Having to leave so soon. Should have booked a much longer stay!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: It's a historic building with an invaluable art collection.
Cons: Their claim to have a pool is ludicrous.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Hotel Staff is bilingual, loves travelers, will always say hello, will help you find your way around, will feed you until you are stuffed, will make you feel like you are in a family home. This location is across the street from one of the oldest Catholic Cathedrals in North America. Centrally located in Old San Juan for UBER rides, two ancient forts and fabulous restaurants within a block or two. Police are everywhere protecting your safety.
Cons: Main elevator kept breaking down with immediate repair by local Contracted company. Any baggage moves handled by Hotel. They helped us totally through this minor problem.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The attention to detail and quality was evident in the furnishings and finishes of the hotel. The staff as courteous and responsive and the daily guest wine and cheese reception was a nice touch. It's location is hard to beat and the hotel blends well into the historical city of Old San Juan.
Cons: There is a lot of traffic directly outside. Not good for early check in.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I liked everything. The staff was incredibly accommodating. The hotel itself was amazing and exactly what I wanted, which was a place with character and charm. Do yourself a favor and stay here.
Good 7.1
Pros: The staff was awesome!! Very comfy beds and a very good location!
Cons: The hotel is very old which is cool, but it need some upgrade.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful hotel, wonderful hosts, located in an old world city.

Pros: Friendly staff, all in good condition, everything is new. The location is in the San Juan convention center district, we book it for a convention and we walk to all the activities. Nice view to the harbor and the cruise line. If you are traveling to take a cruise (Royal Caribbean terminal) it just right there. Overall is a 4 star hotel.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: You are a few miles from the pier at Hyatt House. Good complimentary breakfast.

Cons: Breakfast potatoes. I would like a more veggie friendly breakfast

Okay 4.8
Pros: The beach and pool facilities are great
Cons: My room did not electricity for 48 hours, the hotel would not offer much more than a complimentary buffet breakfast.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Beautiful hotel with open lobby and modern clean feeling.
Cons: Even though the reservation was a prepaid, I still got hosed with a resort fee. A couple of bottles of water and a beach chair shouldn't cost 25 bucks. Got the runaround as to why my Marriott status was worth nothing at this resort property.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Modern look that is on the beach with pools and in a nice area. Every part of the hotel was clean including the gym and toilets. The restaurants were also excellent with good choices and healthy options available. Overall awesome and would definitely recommend this luxurious hotel.
Cons: Resort fees. I feel that the hotel is priced right and that there is no reason to tack on resort fees. Drinks a little pricey
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Loved the suite with full kitchen. Would do this again!
Cons: HOusekeeping was not cleaning room if I did not ask or let them know I was out. Room did not get made up last day at all, and I was out all day.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Well maintained despite not being a new resort; Modern, comfortable and clean rooms; Large staff and very friendly and accommodating; Adult pool! It was the most quiet and least congested area. Not sure some people knew it was there. If you like resorts and don't mind the crowds you will enjoy this hotel.
Cons: Party-like atmosphere on the weekend- if that's what you want you will have a great time. Personally, I didn't like the music on the beach. Also, the beach is fairly narrow and the main beach area and pool area are both crowded with chairs very close to one another. I prefer more space and don't want to be sitting an inch away from a total stranger. It can be tough to find the sun in the afternoon when the hotel casts a shadow on the beach. Scope out a good spot early.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Vibrant, entertaining but also relaxing and luxurious. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The facility was clean, never noticed bathroom soap, towels, tissue empty or a mess. Room was a suite with ample space, balcony and kitchenette. It seemed much more suited to adults only but there were families. Location was great, right on the beach. Bikes were available which we took into Old San Juan. I would stay here again and again with adults.
Cons: On occasion, I felt that the music was too loud (ack! I'm getting old!) But that was really it.
Good 7.7
Pros: I loved the 3 different pool options. We used the adult pool the entire time, which is much quieter and has a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Most staff were so friendly and helpful. Menu is pretty reasonable and prices are comparable to surrounding area, except quality is much much better. Tuna salad was my favorite thing by far.
Cons: Mixed drinks were weak and pricey. Rules weren't always enforced. Example, there was a 5 year old at the adult pool for about 2 hours until someone finally noticed. We were also told we couldn't bring our own mixed drinks to the pool, yet others would blatantly have a 6 pack from cvs out in the open. Hallways were a little dingy.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: All
Excellent 9.4
Pros: location and beach were great.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All 3 pools were beautiful. Definitely worth the upgrade to an OceanView Suite. The views are out of this world! Restaurants all had good food, even poolside. Pleasantly surprised. Would definitely return To PR and stay here again.
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Excellent 10.0
Pros: hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. hotel was right on the water, great drinks and food. Located in a nice area to walk around at any time of the day. Close to shopping, and local restaurants. Hotel guests were a mix of families, couples, business, and groups of friends. There was an adult only pool as well as 3 others. Will definitely be going back and staying here!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet is super yummy and the drinks at the bar with Juan are so good! He genuinely cares about people and making quality drinks! Pool & beach access is amazing.
Cons: The only thing that could’ve been better was perhaps the ac in the room. We had a suite so at times it felt a little warm.

Okay 5.7
Cons: Housekeeping is mediocre, they take too much time to get the whole floor clean.
Good 7.7
Pros: Hotel is clean and friendly staff
Cons: Location isn't the best taxi to old San Juan was about 15.00 dollars each way. No restaurants nearby so you have to get a taxicab and can become costly.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Limited choices restaurants
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the infinity pool and the service as well as the area
Cons: no minibar
Good 7.7
Pros: Love the casino love the Metropole restaurant love the pool
Cons: I don't like it there is not a beach in the hotel
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved the Club Lounge. The breakfast was superb. Every staff member I interacted with was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The food was very expensive and to be honest, the yellow walls reminded me of a high school (and not the good kind).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Service was fast! The staff was wonderful! The facilities very well kept and they where always making sure I had what I needed.
Cons: I LOVED EVERYTHING! I have nothing to complain about. Nothing was bad!! VERY WELLA ORGANIZED!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: staff there is the best KATERINA was amazing
Cons: loud nosises from other rooms I could hear everything
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We enjoyed the proximity to Old San Juan and the friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and the WIFI worked well even after the hurricane when not many working WiFi signals could be found. We also enjoyed the infinity pool and the gym. Zen Spa was also great, relaxing and the therapists very helpful.
Cons: However we were overcharged a small amount by Zen Spa and it’s been over a week since our stay and we haven’t been reimbursed for the mistake by the Zen Spa staff. It’s looking like we will have to go there again personally to take care of the problem.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The cleanliness was great, housekeeping department was extraordinary. The people at the Cafe on the lobby were great.
Cons: Some of the staff at the front desk were not that polite as I was expecting since I am an SPG member.
Good 7.7
Pros: The infinity pool was great! Rooms were nice and beds were extremely comfortable.
Cons: The rooms didn't have vents and the food and drinks are expensive.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I think the staff was very friendly and helpful. The guys who work at the pool bar and the breakfast staff who works in the cafe. However I would say the front desk staff was my favorite. Thank you so much for making my vacation one of the best vacation ever!
Good 6.3
Pros: Staff was wonderful
Good 7.0
Pros: A good quality hotel conveniently located for the Pan American Cruise Pier which it over-looks on one side. they were over-booked in the superior room category which we had booked so upgraded us to a suite which was first class.
Cons: I wouldn't recommend the location for a long-term leisure break as you cannot easily walk to anywhere of interest, but it was great for what we wanted (pre-cruise stay)
Good 7.7
Pros: The space of the room, the comforting bed and especially the pillows, very very soft, love them.
Cons: I think if you are staying in the hotel, the parking rates should be subsidiary.

Pros: The location and the facilities are great.
Cons: Sofa-bed need a new mattress or get whole new sofa-bed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My wife and I wanted something genuinely Puerto Rican and this did it. Only 1 day but very enjoyable in the center of Old San Juan with easy access to anything. Staff was super friendly. Even held our bags after check out so we could keep exploring before boarding a cruise. THEN they kept our bags again, 1 week later when we returned from our cruise and had another 5 hours to kill even though we didn't book another night. A+++
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Hosts were very helpful and courteous. Our luggage was stored on site before our room was ready which allowed us to explore Old San Juan the morning we arrived. We received a phone call when our room was ready and came back to find that our hosts had moved all of our luggage to our room for us. This is not a traditional hotel but felt more like a guest house. We had our own space, and the room was nice, but not super fancy. There was a common area with a kitchen sink and fridge and some seating, tables. The entrance to the Suites is through a storefront of a jewelry shop. The Suites are in the heart of Old San Juan and within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and other attractions. We stayed one night and about 24hours total, and it was just right for our needs.
Cons: Common area is right outside the doors to most suites. Our door was not sound-deadening by any means. We were awakened really early by some other guests who seemed to be leaving for the airport for a morning flight. Also, seems to have some plumbing issues. Although the bathroom was modern and very clean, we were asked not to flush used toilet tissue down the toilet, which was a bit strange for us. A covered waste basket was available and it wasn’t a huge deal but certainly unexpected.

Pros: I liked the location on Calle Fortaleza, close to good restaurants and to parking lot.
Cons: The room was incredibly small. I need to talk to someone in the front desk to get my key, and they had a sign that says "for help text x number". Nobody answered until the next day when I had left already. How did I finally get my key? I opened the desk and there it was, no help, no security, no supervision. I just took it and kept going.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful hotel!!! Excellent staff! Fantastic location. Our A/C was leaking and they could not get it to stop. The hotel had no other rooms available so to fix the problem they moved us to a nearby hotel. The new place was beautiful as well and it felt like we got an upgraded room. We were very impressed with how the situation was resolved so quickly and smoothly.
Cons: Nothing! Would have loved to have stayed there if the A/C would have stopped leaking. But they fixed the situation very quickly.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Excellent location. Iconoclastic décor.
Cons: I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel, but it does not meet the lowest level of fire safety standards. There is only one open stairway leading to all the floors and no secondary means of escape--not even a fire escape. There is not separation between the lobby and the restaurant. There is no sprinkler system.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Charming boutique hotel. Delicious restaurant in house. Staff was great and the location is excellent!
Cons: The room size and the elevator need work
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was our second visit. We love the historic and quaint atmosphere this hotel provides, exactly the experience we wanted in Old San Juan. This small hotel is not crowded and staff treat you like a personal guest. They go above and beyond to help you and ensure you enjoy your stay.
Cons: It can be a bit noisy but at no fault of the hotel. When you stay on Fortaleza St you are in the center of the action and hear music from neighboring restaurants. We did not mind this. Being in the center of things was important to us and we felt part of the activity and excitement that is Old San Juan.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The position is great , the staff is excellent, clean, nice, the best place to walk Old San Juan
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. Joyce promptly answered my emails/questions before we got there. Location was perfect. Right in Old Town San Juan.
Cons: Couldn't find an outlet in the bathroom. Made it a bit more difficult to get ready in the morning. Room was small but wasn't an issue for us because we were only in our room to sleep.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Hotel was very cleaned, staff was so attentive and personable, room was comfortable enough for 2 people.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the atmosphere and the staff. The rooms were fun and the whole family was comfortable. We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends visiting Old San Juan!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: We loved our stay at this cozy little boutique hotel in the heart of Old San Juan! Lots of character and small rooms (which we liked and found so comfortable). Loved the chandeliers in the bedroom and even bathroom! The staff was so accommodating and friendly and hauled my overstuffed, incredibly heavy bag all the way up 5 flights of stairs with no problem (they don't have an elevator yet). The rooftop was so unique and overlooked the city too! I would highly recommend if you're looking for a different kind of experience than the Hilton and big chain hotels.
Cons: They're currently installing an elevator but the staff will gladly carry bags up the stairs for you.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Customer service. Uniqueness of hotel.
Cons: Elevator was broken while we were there. Light switch in bathroom would not turn off.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: This is a very charming little hotel in a great location in the middle of Old San Juan, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it.
Cons: The bed was pretty hard. I overpaid because I booked through this site. I would have paid much less booking with the hotel directly. I recommend you do that.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect room and view
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great pool for toddlers! Awesome restaurants and service. For lunch La Isla restaurant kebobs are highly recommended. Our room had a ocean view that ir worth the extra money.
Cons: Beach is great but watch out for little kids cause waves are unpredictable and can get very strong from one second to another. I suggest keep them at the shore.
Okay 4.5
Pros: Location is amazing. Condado area is vibrant. Great restaurants, great sightseeing.
Cons: Our room had roaches and after getting a minor upgrade, things went downhill. In the fine print, breakfast package excluded my 12 year old daughter, which put us in a weird place because we were then forced to pay for the overpriced breakfast or take her somewhere to eat. The hotel muddled up our booking. We received wrong expectations about our room, which ended up Being small and cramped. Hotel management isn't empowered to take care of customers and we received an "it-is-what-it-is" attitude from the staff. After asking, they said that for a discounted fee, we could upgrade. The total amount meant $250 out of pocket which we couldn't do. This was even after letting them know it was our first time staying there and we were in town to celebrate my brother in law's birthday. The hotel restaurant's food was bland and the quality is not 4 star level. Chefs couldn't even get a boiled egg right for our 18-month old. Every morning, we had to request it at least twice. Room service was poor and slow: a simple order of chicken tenders with ice cream jumped from $12 to $23, between tax and the high delivery fee. To make things worse, after almost an hour, the order arrived with missing silverware and napkins for which we had to call again. Was so let down by this experience. Go to La Concha a block down. The few extra dollars will be well worth it.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: EMPLOYEES VERY NICE WORK VERY HARD TO PLEASE YOU
Cons: LOBBY MUSIC VERY LOUD I USED EAR PLUGS
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Always the location room and service nothing
Excellent 9.7
Pros: I love how they had all the Amenities on site, and the Staff was Polite always willing to help and offer refreshments.
Cons: The Rooms had a little Moldy Smell. Other wise my kids love the Pool and the Beach.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Great staff and great accommodations! We only ate once at this hotel but it was very pricey but the food was above average. Hotel is in a great location and is within walking distance of many restaurants and other attractions. I would visit again!
Cons: Obviously pricing of hotel restaurants is going to be pricey but it was pretty steep. I wish they offered something along the lines of a free continental breakfast. Other than this I cannot complain!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I saw all the resorts and this on has the best bang for your buck. I am a young doctor and went with my girlfriend and did extensive research on best water front resorts and this is the one because of the pool and service. Becareful other hotels are in front of rocky beaches that will ruin your vacation. This has great beach prime location and amazing options on things to do.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Staff is really courteous, upgraded our room for free. Always smiling, will help you no matter what. Had an amazing stay, and will definitely come back again.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Our family loved the close proximity to the beach.
Cons: Taxis were too expensive. There's not enough public transportation.
Good 7.7
Pros: Nice hotel, a little bit old Staff members are great Location is one of the best in San Juan Nice Beach front, nice poll area, everything else is below average You have CSV, Walgreens, and many restaurants walking distance
Cons: Everything is overpriced Rooms are old and small Bar is noisy and crowd not cool at all Casino area looks aweful I didn't wasted time on it
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the amenities, cleanliness , and attentiveness of staff in addition the local of the hotel to all different conviniences
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Good 7.3
Pros: Great to be able to leave the hotel room in a bathing suit with just a key card and enjoy the pool, bar, order snacks, go to the beach and have chairs and umbrellas provided. Was given a Cabana room facing the pool and ocean even though I booked a cheaper city view room.
Cons: The piece holding one of the shower heads broke. The remote to the TV didn't work and we had to call twice. The drying line in the shower came off the wall and they never fixed it. One day we didn't get a refill of the coffee supply in the room.
Good 7.7
Pros: On the beach and close to the bus stop.

Pros: This was an unplanned stay but a very pleasant surprise while visiting family in Puerto Rico and finding this place by luck on short notice. The location was great within walking distance to Condado and Old San Juan. Also the staff was very friendly and seems to genuinely care care about their guests.
Cons: For some reason the water from the shower was just warm and not hot but I was able overlook that because it was so hot in San Juan and the rooms were nice and clean. This is often nor the case in San Juan.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Close to cruise ships and not far from airport, old town, paseo caribe, good restaurants, great rooftop terrace, helpful staff, neat cafe, exceptionally spacious room, excellent wifi, very clean,
Good 6.2
Pros: I like the fact that you were close to restaurants and shopping. Close to the cruise port. We took a walk to Walmart and Marshall's near by. They have a roof top lounge area that is very nice at night. Wonderful breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. There is also a 24 hour restaurant across the street. There are plenty of eating places in the area.
Cons: Had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready. So they stored everyone's luggage while they explored the town.
Good 6.8
Pros: Size of room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice clean hotel will a very nice staff. The lady that was the desk clerk was outstanding. They have a roof top terrace on the 9th floor with an outstanding view of the area. The area also has a nice local flair with many local restaurants and there is a grocery store a few doors down. I would stay here again.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Room size was good and the redone bathroom was beautiful! Also LOVED the rooftop deck. It was our favorite thing about our stay because it was very quiet with good views of the city and harbor and lovely seating arrangements. We also enjoyed walking the neighborhood. There are lots of restaurants close by and even a grocery store where we picked up a few things. And we walked to a lovely little park right on the water's edge.
Cons: I thought our room had a strange odor, but my husband thought it was fine. If we had been staying more than one night I would have complained and asked to change rooms but decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Also our shower curtain had mildew on it, which I realize is difficult to avoid with the humidity in San Juan, but housekeeping needs to stay on top of this.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff was very helpful! Great recommendations for food and places to go. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Everything was great.
Cons: Limited parking.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions-Would stay here again if in the area-Loved the terrace on the top floor, we preferred that to a pool.
Good 6.2
Pros: I like that is in a good area , not bad at all. Some convenience places to eat and buy simple things. Close walking to some local and hotel beaches. The hotel staff are very friendly and helped me out in every question or need I had. They solved the problem when I first arrive due to they gave me a room that had very bad smell of humidity. I was happy they found one Avalos room. This a small hotel that I recommend for a couple or just Adult Solo trip. Not for a family. Hallways in every floor need ventilation, it feels dry and some smell not bad but to a closed space smell. but in overall rate is a good hotel towards excellent for the price, WIFI Very good and having signal everywhere in the hotel. Quiet enough for resting. Bathroom nice and big, shower very good pressure. I would use this hotel for my solo trip but for the overall, I would suggest not to pay more than a $90.0 per night.
Cons: I don't watch TV but I heard people complaint about problems with TV, until I had the experience my TV lost signal. I did not request to get it fixed because I expent my time outside the hotel. Bath tube drain clogged while showering so water was filling up above your feet. Parking not recommended... Very tiny space for all cars and every time you want to use the car same person at the front desk had to move and re park the other cars, while some one is waiting at the front desk until this person finish to accommodate the cars again. Don't get me wrong... They were always helpful, friendly and always willing to help you. Bad quality of customer service in the restaurant in front the hotel... and pricy.. But better go to other areas. Curtains in the room are too smal of the size of the window..so light comes through all night and doesn't keep the room dark. No door tags for RESTING /DO NOT DISTURB.. So cleaning service (very nice) they have to knock out your door. Price. I believe the rate is little high for what is worth. Find a better discount in the Internet even so the hotel is not Chain hotel company. Good luck.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Had an excellent stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I could tell the woman who was over our floor took pride in her work.
Good 6.3
Pros: we found it ideal location for airport and our trip on cruise. its in the old part of san juan which is packed with plenty to see and do
Cons: there was nothing to find complaint about.
Good 7.3
Pros: The excellent staff with professional and human service.
Good 6.7
Pros: Clean, comfortable, nice staff. Within walking distance to grocery store and pharmacy.
Cons: Breakfast was rather skimpy. What they had was good but they did run out and some guests had to wait while they replenished the supply.
Good 6.0
Pros: Even though my stay at the Hotel was very short ( we stayed as a group) I find the staff was very considerate of our accommodation needs and very helpfull.
Cons: Continental breakfast could include Coffee/Tea/hot Chocolate milk and scramble eggs and toast.
Okay 5.7
Pros: I like very much the way the staff received us. Making us feel welcome. They were also helpful in giving information about transportation etc.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: staff was very helpful, older hotel but very clean, very close to sites

Good 6.7
Pros: Staff were friendly and accomodating. Hotel showed its age a bit but was clean and functional. Reasonable amenities for the price (small fitness centre, internet, rooftop deck...all free). Good value for the money.
Cons: $review.cons
Okay 4.0
Pros: Location was good. The bus stop was right opposite which made it very easy for us to commute to old san juan.
Cons: there were bed bugs in the room i stayed and got bitten badly. The sheets have to be cleaner. The bath tub was a little diirty. Hygiene and cleanliness have to be improved.
Good 6.6
Pros: quiet and clean. I shared a large room with double beds with my husband, my daughter and her husband and we had plenty of room. no bumping into each other. I would definitely stay at this hotel again for the price.
Cons: make sure the filters in your air conditioners are changed frequently. I got sick immediately after my daughter turned on the air. It has happened to me before because of air conditioners.
Good 6.4
Pros: staff was able to speak good english which is important, staff was also, able to give good directions to locations in the area
Cons: Phones in all rooms were not working

Good 6.8
Pros: The staff, very helpful
Okay 4.0
Pros: the location. That's all
Cons: a) no parking. Only valet , very slow car return. & 15 USD more... b one person for check in and one for check out only. Only one credit card terminal that decline my credit card. No other alternative. I used that same credit card the day before and hours later stillin San Juan ....and it worked perfectly... c) Breakfast at le Papillon. The two girls simply do not use their mouth for even saying hello, good bye. You can say thanks thousand times, it does not matter, they keep on ignoring you d) dinner at the other restaurant. They had a trouble with paperwork and could not serve alcohol...so they spent the entire dinner running around tables nervously...waiters, maitre ...everybody....polite at least but overwhelming....
Excellent 9.4
Pros: I received everything I was looking for. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our reservation was for two rooms. When arrived at the hotel at 2:AM, they said it was only one. I showed them the Kayak confirmation email, and they provided us with the second room. The rooms were as perfect as they could be. We only stayed one night on the way to my mother-in-law's funeral. We got the rest, that we needed to face the next few days. Staff was very helpful.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The hotel lobby is beautiful. The hotel has everrything you need and service was great. Staff was extremely helpful and very nice from check in to check out.
Cons: Some areas need repair. Example, the pool is beautiful, but the grout has black stuff on it and chipped. Also, we had issues with card for garage and hotel room. Twice, we were stuck at exit gate of garage. We had to park car and go to cashier and hotel front desk to sync the cards.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Awesome views, friendly/helpful staff, and beautiful private beach. Best resort in PR!
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The staff were amazing and very accommodating
Cons: The view was amazing, the hotel was very comfortable and easy to get around.
Good 7.4
Pros: Updated, modern, clean room. Nice large bathroom. Bed is comfortable.
Cons: Shouldn't have to pay for premium wifi. The tv channels were all blurry. Water pressure was terrible. Breakfast choices were only overpriced restaurants that were terrible. Don't recommend eating anywhere on the hilton grounds. I arrived early and was told I would be called or texted when a room was available. I never was and was watching the front desk as others checked in. Not good customer service. The a/c is motion activated so it won't keep the room cold if there isn't movement which sucks when you come in from the hot humidity of San Juan and it wouldn't cool down as much as the thermostat said it was set to. The room was hot for me. There is no noise buffering between the walls I heard conversations and music playing in the next room or as people walked down the hallway.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room
Cons: Parking
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was in the right between the old and the new city.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The hotel itself was very nice and fun, very nice overall design and loved the hot tubs.
Cons: The rooms were very out dated and a little gross. Mold in bathroom and it need re-caulking.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The location was excellent: right between old San Juan and Condessa. The pool was small but it was made for hanging around and sunning. Beautiful old ruins right next to the hotel made it picturesque. My view of the sea was beautiful.
Cons: Pool food was a bit oily.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: I really love everything about the Caribe Hilton: the lovely and calm beach, the food, the location, etc. I first came here in 1976 on my honeymoon and have returned twice! Lovely gardens and great service.
Cons: Prices are very high, especially breakfast!
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: This hotel is in a good location in San Juan, close to the airport, Old San Juan, and La Placita Sancturseas. Pretty beach area and overall appears to have nice banquet and resort amenities. From the website the location on the ocean looks appealing.
Cons: Unaware of the additional resort charge I encountered when checking in. All additional services extremely expensive and gougingly high for mediocre service. Got sick from the food twice, facilities were dirty, loud and ill kept. Additional cost for ocean view balcony was not even close to that was described online. Perhaps it was just the timing and this hotels abundance of touristas that can't grasp good service from udderly piss poor hospitality and lodging. I've been to San Juan many times and travel frequently for work. Was absolutely accosted at the price, the additional resort charge and the complete disarray I found the resort to be in. Will most likely never stay at a Hilton chain again due to this experience. Not to rant on this as I'm pretty low maintenance, have worked many years in hospitality and it takes little to appease me. This experience was grotesque and I will certainly be more diligent in future bookings. Encouraged in discounts and refunds offered by companies such as Expedia for poor customer services such as this. No more Hiltons for me and most likely the last visit to San Juan given the costs.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Let me start by saying that I am the type of person that reads negative reviews and most of the time ignores them because I feel some people can never be happy or they paid the price of a 2 star resort and expected services and amenities of a 6 star resort, that is not the situation with me and the Caribe Hilton. Also, I am not a newbie when it comes to travel. I cannot possibly fathom why someone would stay at this resort instead of going to an all inclusive in Aruba, Jamaica, River is Maya, etc... an all inclusive would be less than half the cost when considering food and drink (no exaggeration). Let me put it this way, if the Caribe Hilton was an all inclusive, it would be my least favorite all the resorts that I've been to but it is not all inclusive and you get price gouged with food and drink. Way, way, way too expensive for the value. You are not within walking distance to anything worth noting. Some will tell you that Old San Juan is within walking distance, that's bullcrap, unless you are a person that runs a couple miles every day it is not. It is close to a half hour walk. Who the hell wants to walk a half hour in 86 degree weather then walk up and down the hilly streets of Old San Juan all day then walk another half hour back to the hotel? The city did put in an awesome bicycle path so I guess you could do that, we didn't want to have to worry about them getting stolen while we shopping or eating. I enjoyed Old San Juan but if I wanted to visit again, it would be by a shore excursion while on a cruise. Our room was nice and clean. There were not that many people at the resort, wonder why, but you still couldn't get a good seat at the pool or Lagoon. The pools were small and freshwater and I worried because they didn't have chlorine the type of germs and things that were in it. The hotel was kind enough to put free fruit flavored water out for a few hours a day that ranged from refreshing to disgusting depending on the type of fruit. There was a wedding held there the Saturday we were there. An entire section of the beach was closed down and all the hammocks were removed because of the wedding. The hammocks were one of few things i enjoyed. At the end of the wedding, sometime between midnight and 1AM, someone decided to light off fireworks which I typically enjoy but not being woke out off a sound sleep and not going off feet from my room's balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful except when I was asked at checkout if I had a nice stay and I said not really, the girl just smiled and handed me my check. That was the icing on the cake for me, not only would I never stay at this resort again I would never stay at a Hilton again. For the grande finale, this hotel charges you a hotel fee on top of quoted price AND it is not cheap. Not sure if this is legal, but they know you can't do anything but gripe and moan because it isn't like you can walk to the hotel next door. Bottom line is if you are not concerned about money it's great
Okay 5.1
Pros: I like the exclusive beachfront and pool area with the view and close proximity to old San Juan.
Cons: The staff was rude and sarcastic except for two which I came across towards the end my stay but far in between. Was treated as if we didn't matter since my arrival. Was told I could check in early as long as I paid a $75 fee when I spoke to them over the phone a day earlier and once I arrived was told I had to wait and I waited 6 hours.

Pros: The hotel is comfortable - not exactly a luxury hotel but certainly adequate. The staff is very polite and helpful. I was there for work so I didn't get to use all the facilities so I can't really comment on them, but my stay was very pleasant.
Cons: I was charged an extra $100 or so tax (for a 3 night stay) in addition to the so-called "taxes" I was charged by Kayak. Whose fault is this? I assume Kayak is to be blamed here, since they do not mention that there are extra fees and taxes in addition to the price they charge. This is a deceptive practice.
