Pros: My wife and I wanted something genuinely Puerto Rican and this did it. Only 1 day but very enjoyable in the center of Old San Juan with easy access to anything. Staff was super friendly. Even held our bags after check out so we could keep exploring before boarding a cruise. THEN they kept our bags again, 1 week later when we returned from our cruise and had another 5 hours to kill even though we didn't book another night. A+++

Pros: Hosts were very helpful and courteous. Our luggage was stored on site before our room was ready which allowed us to explore Old San Juan the morning we arrived. We received a phone call when our room was ready and came back to find that our hosts had moved all of our luggage to our room for us.
This is not a traditional hotel but felt more like a guest house. We had our own space, and the room was nice, but not super fancy. There was a common area with a kitchen sink and fridge and some seating, tables. The entrance to the Suites is through a storefront of a jewelry shop.
The Suites are in the heart of Old San Juan and within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and other attractions. We stayed one night and about 24hours total, and it was just right for our needs.

Pros: We loved our stay at this cozy little boutique hotel in the heart of Old San Juan! Lots of character and small rooms (which we liked and found so comfortable). Loved the chandeliers in the bedroom and even bathroom! The staff was so accommodating and friendly and hauled my overstuffed, incredibly heavy bag all the way up 5 flights of stairs with no problem (they don't have an elevator yet). Pros: I like that is in a good area , not bad at all. Some convenience places to eat and buy simple things. Close walking to some local and hotel beaches. The hotel staff are very friendly and helped me out in every question or need I had. They solved the problem when I first arrive due to they gave me a room that had very bad smell of humidity. I was happy they found one Avalos room. This a small hotel that I recommend for a couple or just Adult Solo trip. Not for a family. Hallways in every floor need ventilation, it feels dry and some smell not bad but to a closed space smell. but in overall rate is a good hotel towards excellent for the price, WIFI Very good and having signal everywhere in the hotel. Quiet enough for resting. Bathroom nice and big, shower very good pressure. I would use this hotel for my solo trip but for the overall, I would suggest not to pay more than a $90.0 per night.

Pros: This hotel is in a good location in San Juan, close to the airport, Old San Juan, and La Placita Sancturseas. Pretty beach area and overall appears to have nice banquet and resort amenities. From the website the location on the ocean looks appealing.

Pros: Let me start by saying that I am the type of person that reads negative reviews and most of the time ignores them because I feel some people can never be happy or they paid the price of a 2 star resort and expected services and amenities of a 6 star resort, that is not the situation with me and the Caribe Hilton. Also, I am not a newbie when it comes to travel. I cannot possibly fathom why someone would stay at this resort instead of going to an all inclusive in Aruba, Jamaica, River is Maya, etc... an all inclusive would be less than half the cost when considering food and drink (no exaggeration). Let me put it this way, if the Caribe Hilton was an all inclusive, it would be my least favorite all the resorts that I've been to but it is not all inclusive and you get price gouged with food and drink. Way, way, way too expensive for the value. You are not within walking distance to anything worth noting. Some will tell you that Old San Juan is within walking distance, that's bullcrap, unless you are a person that runs a couple miles every day it is not. It is close to a half hour walk. Who the hell wants to walk a half hour in 86 degree weather then walk up and down the hilly streets of Old San Juan all day then walk another half hour back to the hotel? The city did put in an awesome bicycle path so I guess you could do that, we didn't want to have to worry about them getting stolen while we shopping or eating. I enjoyed Old San Juan but if I wanted to visit again, it would be by a shore excursion while on a cruise. Our room was nice and clean. There were not that many people at the resort, wonder why, but you still couldn't get a good seat at the pool or Lagoon. The pools were small and freshwater and I worried because they didn't have chlorine the type of germs and things that were in it. The hotel was kind enough to put free fruit flavored water out for a few hours a day that ranged from refreshing to disgusting depending on the type of fruit. There was a wedding held there the Saturday we were there. An entire section of the beach was closed down and all the hammocks were removed because of the wedding. The hammocks were one of few things i enjoyed. At the end of the wedding, sometime between midnight and 1AM, someone decided to light off fireworks which I typically enjoy but not being woke out off a sound sleep and not going off feet from my room's balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful except when I was asked at checkout if I had a nice stay and I said not really, the girl just smiled and handed me my check. That was the icing on the cake for me, not only would I never stay at this resort again I would never stay at a Hilton again. For the grande finale, this hotel charges you a hotel fee on top of quoted price AND it is not cheap. Not sure if this is legal, but they know you can't do anything but gripe and moan because it isn't like you can walk to the hotel next door. Bottom line is if you are not concerned about money it's great

Pros: Our view of the pool and ocean were great. It really is a pretty hotel. I loved the beautiful grounds with pond and animals. The hammocks were relaxing. I would definitely stay here again. We were able to rent a car right at the hotel. It was easy to find and we had a good time staying there. They even kept our luggage until we left for our crusie and let us hang out at the pool.

Pros: Hotel Milano is located right in the heart of Old San Juan, a short walk away from the cruise port, the Fort and about a 10 minute drive to the airport. There were ample shops, restaurants and bars in the surrounding streets which made for plenty to do. Beaches are near by as well. The rooftop restaurant is amazing - especially the wonderful staff and fantastic local food.

Pros: The location is very good if you like to visit old San Juan. It only costs about $20( for two) taxi to get to the hotel and cost $15( for two) to get to the cruise ship port. There are only small window close to the ceilings, but the rest of room is good. Bathroom is very good with the price we paid.
