I strongly suggest you rent at a more reputable company. If you do rent here, which is understandable because they are so cheap, please be very careful. Make sure you have the time to get to their far off airport location, to deal with their lack of staff or service. Make sure you are ok renting a beat up car that is likely 10 years old. And finally make sure you cover yourself with copious notes and photos because their business model seems to be to get damaged cars and then blame people for damage that was clearly already there. The car was lovely but that staff at Sixt was rude on both pick up and drop off. They acted as if they were doing me a favor by renting me a car. And, adding insult to injury, they over charged wildly ($600) for a tiny scrape on the HUBCAP (where it touched a curb during parallel parking)!!! Pros:Dropoff was extremely difficult as their location is far from the airport and confusing to get to because they don't list it on paperwork or online. Difficult to find the location. Pros:The vehicle that was available, not the one that I ordered, was in fact clean and spacious with no vehicle issues.Cons:First off, if you go through a third party, SIXT does not take care of the customer as well as if you went directly through them. It is extremely difficult to contact them if you go through a third party. I never been to the area where I picked up the rental. The address on google and on the paperwork I printed out when I made the purchase, apparently sent me directly to the airport and not the SIXT rental address. I was being harassed by airport police to move the vehicle and I started to get extreme anxiety because I had no idea where to drive the vehicle to. There was no contact number accept for the third party number who luckily answered only because I actually had the vehicle. It was like pulling teeth to get the actual address while I had airport police harassing me to get the vehicle out of the airport ASAP. For some reason, Sixt does not list there locations online?? Backing up to pick up the vehicle from SIXT, the associates try very hard to keep you there for over 30 minutes to pressure you to purchase every additional add on that is completely not necessary for the vehicle. If you want to drive somewhere for one day where you might go on a highway with tolls, they say you have to pay for tolls every day you have the vehicle and say that Florida has tolls on there roads. That is a lie. I drove around and there were no tolls on the roads. There were other upgrades they tried to pressure me to purchase which was extremely not necessary. I ordered a Cadillac which they had none available. It would be nice to keep vehicles in stock that the customers choose to rent. I asked to downgrade to the Dodge Charger that I saw in the parking lot and the associate said it's not available. I guess they only hold vehicles for certain favored customers or customers that do not go through third party? If I could have just picked up the vehicle because I already paid in advance, and didn't have to wait over 30 minutes to have to feel pressured in to paying for additional charges, especially since they did not have the vehicle I ordered, and if they had good contact information available online, it would be a slight improvement.Reviewed 23 Mar 2021
