I had made a reservation for a vehicle for 3 days as I had travelled to Augusta, GA due to a death in the family. I was in urgent need of a vehicle. Initially, the agency called and told me that they did not have a vehicle in stock at the time of my pickup but told me that they expected one a couple of hours later. A couple of hours later, I contacted the agency to check on vehicle availability status and was told they could not find my reservation. After spending more than 30 mins on the phone, no reservation was able to found and I was told that they won't have an available vehicle until the day of my departure (3 days later). They informed me that they are a privately owned franchise and the booking agents don't have visibility into their fleet. The agents were rude and unhelpful. I will never book with Thrifty again.Reviewed 4 Nov. 2022

Cons:There wasn't anything wrong with the service I got from Thrifty. The poor rating was intended for Kayak. Through this service I was able to reserve a vehicle that wasn't available. I don't know anyone that has nothing better to do than waste precious time online and on the road in an effort to find creative new ways to waste more of their time. Thank you Kayak for making just a tiny part of my life a complete waste. After all, I'm gonna live forever, right...Reviewed 2 Feb. 2021

Pros:Not a damn thingCons:Posting that there were limits to how far a customer could drive the vehicle rented rather than cause said customer to scramble on the day they were scheduled to leave. Pound sand Thrifty. Never again.Reviewed 7 Jan. 2020

Pros:Staff is always friendly and helpfulCons:I dont like how whenever you get a suppliers choice vehicle they give you the smallest vehicle possible. I understand its a gamble but as a renter you want to try out nice cars at a decent price. I feel like this is just a way to cut cost so I won't be using that option anymore. The price was amazing but my husband an I are not twigs and the Ford Fiesta was good on gas but the tank is small and the car barley fit us and our luggage.Reviewed 24 Nov. 2019
