Cons: "Dear sir or Madam, I’m writing this complaint as I feel so mistreated and so disrespected, I had a ticket# 2208688265549 with a confirmation# WP6DHB travelling from Tulsa , OK, USA to Cairo, Egypt. Everything was great as expected and recommended by my uncle who travels with your respected company at least twice a month till I got to Frankfort airport to take flight# 0582 from Frankfort to Cairo. I was stopped while heading to the plan by the flight manager as he called himself later, and told me that I have to only have one item on the plan, I already had one carry on and my hand bag that has my laptop and the charger, I told him that I was told by Lufthansa customer service the night before traveling to confirm the luggage weight and size that I’m allowed one carry on plus personal item like a hand bag or lap top bag and they have to meet specific dimensions. I even offered to call the customer service number for verification, he replied ‘’I don’t care, I’m the flight manager and you will do what I say’’. His words were really hurting, I showed him the tag on my carry on that I got from the previous flight it said (approved carry on) don’t remember exactly what it said, he reached to my carry on and tare that tag, I didn’t think that was appropriate even if the tag had no value he doesn’t have any right to touch my luggage without my approval, then he tried to grab my ticket from my hand saying I will get you off the flight, I got really upset and told him don’t touch my belongs. There was a moment of silence because I think I raised my voice (my apology to him and to the company for that), I realized that the conversation is not going any where so I decided to file a complaint (not because he wanted to me to only have one item but mostly because of his attitude) so I asked him for his employment ID number he walked away without saying anything, waited till he walked close enough that I can ask him again this time he refused to give me his employment ID number, asked him for his name he said it so softly, I asked him to spell because I didn’t hear it right he said it so softly he refused, then I had to look for his badge and the name on the badge I believe his first name started with P and last name started with T. I waited a few days till I got to talk to my uncle and told him what happened as he is the one who recommended Lufthansa and he has a lot of experience with your services he said that they might need to do that because the flight was complete and they want to offer luggage place for everybody, but what I surprising is there was many empty seats on the plan my seat was 032C and the 2 seats beside me (032A and 032B) were empty also there was a lot of carry-ons room everywhere. So I don’t know why he was this way with me, I’m really disappointed specially that is only my first flight with Lufthansa since 2015, that flight manager made me have an extremely rough experience. one more thing when I told him I’m going to compla"

Pros: "This flight from Munich to Charlotte was operated by Lufthansa. To my surprise (and a little help from a friend) I was upgraded to business class. does not get much better than that !!"

Cons: "My seat (33A) was would not recline. I alerted the stewardess early on, she called a male colleague, both smiled and reassured me that they will deal with it later on. The uncomfortable seat became even more cramped as at the end of the dinner service the passenger ahead reclined his seat. I tried to catch the attention of the cabin crew - in vain. On disembarkation I saw the stewardess and reminded her of her promise of help . She sweetly wished me a "pleasant weekend". The cabin crew did not seem to care much over the discomfort of an elderly traveler in economy class."

Cons: "I had a short transit time in Munich (40 minutes). Munich website promises that this is possible and that gates are close to each other and if the first flight is late, then someone will help you to your next flight. My first flight was about 10 mins late. Although assistance was provided to people connecting to some of the other flights, no-one helped me with my connection. I asked two ground staff and was just told to make my own way to the next gate, which was not close. It was in a different terminal! After literally running through two terminals, I did not make it to the gate in time and had to wait for the following flight which got me home over three hours late. Lufthansa did give me a five euro meal voucher though (which doesn't buy very much in an airport cafe)."

Even offered us some orange juice and milk to take home knowing that we may need it (being away for a while) and knowing that our first priority was to get to a hospital. These little events shows the extreme compassion from Lufthansa's on-board staff. We will now ALWAYS look to fly Lufthansa whenever possible."

Cons: "I have never had a such an awful flight, it all started from the registration where i was told to pay for the overload of baggage eventhough my husbands ticket had not been cancelled and he was not with me, so I lost the pay for his ticket and extra money. It seems to be unfair and unreasonable taking extra money for the baggage in this situation. I have experienced the worst flight ever paying for the seat with extra space where it got very cold. The five blankets were offered with a pair of sox and I used them but it didn't help. The air condition was blowing very hard and eventually I have cought a cold. I strongly advise all potential customers of Lufthansa to stay away from seat number 27 on that plane."

We were booked on a flight that was delayed, turned out there was a flight about to depart (it had been delayed 2.5hrs due to weather), but was departing prior to our reg scheduled flight so they put us on standby. No doubt the crew was also columbus based and eager to get home...as they did. Couldn’t be more pleased to get home"

Cons: "The airline is so outdated and behind the times of their competitors, their in that they don't have in flight entertainment unless you download their app and give them your email address. On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

We also asked for ear buds and she never arrived with them simply stating they will offer/hand them out after they come around. She just seemed like she hates her job. It was a low cost ticket on a very convenient transatlantic flight from RDU, "Easyjet" pricing brings "Easyjet" seating. I have flow a lot, 3MM miles on UA alone, and this reminded me why AA did not get much of my business! I will have to revert to the "Continentalised" UA (another sore point!)."

I arrived 2 hours before my flight and almost did not make bag drop due to the long line (atleast 50-80 other people in the same situation). Then had to rush through security and the terminal to make boarding. Cleared second passport check to be told when the flight shelf have been taking off that the flight was delayed. I get sick when I fly and it helps to eat and due to all the check in delays I could not eat. So when the flight was delayed for mechanical reasons I wanted to go eat to be told that for the next three hours that I would be stuck I could not leave to walk around get a meal or anything. The communication for the staff was poor and their attempt to keep their customers comfortable was lacking."

Cons: "We booked a BA flight from Pittsburgh to Glasgow, through Philadelphia. We intentionally chose BA because we anticipated good service. We later learned that the flight was serviced by American. Our original flight was delayed one day because we missed our connection due to weather on the East Coast (after six hours at the airport). American re-ticketed us for a flight the next day. After several misstarts in Pittsburgh, we arrived in Philadelphia with minutes to spare. After running to the gate, we were then greeted with what turned out to be a four hour delay. Then, upon return, we learned that our seat selections/priority boardings were all deleted because of the re-ticketing on the on the flight out, and we spent hours on the phone and at the airport trying to get things sorted out and ensure that we had a return flight. One of the worst trips ever in my experience."

But then I was sat in a 'special' section, the only 2 seats that are narrower than a regular seat. The flight attendant said there was nothing they could do. 5 1/2 hours and I spent half the time standing up to avoid serious cramps. As a tall person I am literally getting phased out of airline seats. My knee to hip length prevents me from sitting in some seats. No one cares."

Because i drove to JFK, nyslelf on that day to make it for this leg. Luckily a friend had told me to contact the airline directly about this, otherwise BA would have canceled it since i did not come vie first leg of the trip. No one from Kayak told me to do this."
