Pros:Picking up and dropping off was very quick and easy!Reviewed 21 Sep. 2020

terriblePros:the car was fineCons:When I rented thru Kayak, they did not tell me about the drop off fee. Picked up in Albuquerque and told them I was dropping in Santa Fe. Turns out they don't have a counter in Santa Fe Airport, so I was instructed there was a $50 drop off fee (thanks a lot for not telling me when I booked). I was told to call them and tell them where I left it. Only problem is the Albuquerque desk NEVER ANSWERS THEIR PHONE. So I called their national number TWICE. For all I know the car is still sitting in Santa Fe. I would NEVER do that again.Reviewed 16 Nov. 2015

Alamo economy rentalPros:No complaints whatsoever. Apparently Alamo and National share a counter, workers, and fleet of cars in Albuquerque. Got a Ford Fiesta tiny little thing for just a shade over $10/day. Three days ended up costing $35, spent more on gas than on renting the car. And the car was surprisingly smooth, an enjoyable ride up to Raton and back as well as driving around Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Staff was efficient and courteous on pickup and drop-off, car was cheap and more than adequate, plenty clean. Great value in my eyes.Reviewed 15 Sep. 2016

Pros:Staff was helpful. Still, the computer system had a lot of problems as always, which makes picking up the vehicle tedious and time wasting.Cons:It is way too expensive. The insurance offers are not clear and always seem like a scam. Did I mention it is way too expensive?Reviewed 4 Oct. 2020

Pros:The car was clean and the pick up went smoothly.Cons:I reserved a large SUV, as my family, children included, are at least six foot tall. We were given a nice SUV but was not what we asked for and was very cramped inside with no trunk space so not only were we cramped with no leg room, but we were also sitting with our luggage next to us. When I returned the SUV, I was barely acknowledged and stood there waiting for service while the man in front of me did nothing and finally the other agent helped me. He said I would be emailed a receipt, which I was not, and did not offer a paper receipt.Reviewed 4 Aug. 2020

The Albuquerque staff was horrible.Pros:The facility was clean.Cons:Albuquerque customer service was horrible. they were rude, unfriendly, extremely unhelpful and the most unicomidating service I've ever had. They were were not forthcoming with company policies, they cancelled my first reservation, die to me not having a major credit card my possession. I returned the next day with a new reservation, dispite My best judgement. My second reservation was almost cancelled also. They didn't tell me that I would be charged for an authorized driver, when I was. Both ladies I spoke too, liked the phrase, "you should have read the terms and fine print." Yet they could not provide terms. They really were very rude. Their manager was couldn't be located. I will not return to Albuquerque's Alamo. It really was not worth my time, money or stress. Vehicle also needed maintenance.Reviewed 7 Nov. 2016
