Pros:We really appreciated the pick-up and drop off at different locations. Car was clean, comfortable, zippy and fuel-efficient. Staff inHoboken was friendly and efficient. It was nice to have the EZ pass for tolls.Cons:I was expecting a 4-door which would have been easier for us with 3 passengers. We were not sure how the charges would come to us using the EZ pass or whether there will be any extra fees for using it.Reviewed 6 Jul. 2018

Great car. Pick up and drop off could have been better.Pros:Reserved a full-size car, and was given a very nice small SUV. Great car. Good customer service.Cons:Reserved the car for a 10 am pick up on memorial day weekend, and was told when we called to see if we could pick it up early that the car would be gone by 10 AM, so yes we needed to pick it up early. We would have been very upset to not have had a car available at our appointed pick up time. Drop off location in Hoboken did not open on time the morning we were dropping it off. Will never rent from Avis Hoboken again.Pros:Convenience - locationCons:Dirty car Low on fuel Scratches on body When I mentioned the above things - the agent told me that he was doing me a favor to upgrade me. I asked WTH! and then he looked up the reservation to realize he wasn't doing anyone any favor. Anyway, he wasn't helpful and the car was well 'a rental' at best. Worst service I've ever experiencedPros:Hoboken is a good location for pickup/dropoff, price was good.Cons:The service was the most awful service I've ever experienced in my life. The representative on duty was extremely rude and lacked compassion. The other passengers who were going to drive the car (the license holders) were running 10 minutes late (would have arrived 10 minutes after 7pm closing). He refused to wait for them to arrive to rent the car, which I can respect if that was a hard policy, but he was extremely rude about the situation and was pointing to his watch and abrasively closed the window on my face. I will never rent from Avis again.Reviewed 7 Aug. 2017
