Our plane tickets were changed by the airlines due to the expected snow. (We had 8 inches.). We contacted Avis and asked them if they would hold our reservation until Sunday. We said we were willing to honor paying for seven days when we would only be using it six. They said they would try holding it 24 hours. We had a couple of conversations with them with the same answer. When we arrived in San Juan we went straight to the counter and the lady informed us that our reservation had been cancelled because of the 24 hour time frame. She said the only car left was a two passenger vehicle and we were traveling with family. Our satisfaction would be rated a “0”. We received zero help, zero consideration, and zero assistance. We didn’t change our flight but Avis sure rented our car and we are sure it was for more $$ than OUR rental would have been. So no, we will never use Avis again! Mary GibsonReviewed 22 Mar. 2022

Staff at pickup counter was very rude. I had ordered a 7 passenger minivan, they were trying to give me a Hyundai Santa Fe & insisting that it would be the same. Eventually gave me an old minivan with a broken key fob and a shot suspension! Very disappointed!Reviewed 20 Mar. 2022

I did not like anything about this experience. The car was in horrible shape. Need better quality of cars. One of the signal lights was not working. The car smelled horrible and was dirty.Reviewed 25 Oct. 2021

Mechanically the car wobbled at speeds over 35mph. It’s was the second car we took after the first one had what appeared to be vomit in the trunk. So we pressed our luck with the wobbly wheels instead.Reviewed 6 Oct. 2021
