Cons: Stayed in the family room on the top floor, Room looked nice and have normal facilities for B&B, great views in the morning. Both beds were uncomfortable with no support. Pros: If I could give more than 10, I would. Fantastic value at just over £40, the accommodation is presented to a high standard throughout. My room was spacious, well equipped with a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, USB charging points and the decor of the room and ensuite was of a high standard. The hosts, Linda and Richard, were very welcoming and presented a fantastic full Scottish breakfast (inc. haggis) that was both plentiful and beautifully cooked. Thank you for a wonderful, albeit it short, stay.

Pros: Room was very clean and comfortable.......probably one of the best I’ve stayed in. Loved that there were plenty tea and coffee available in the room. Also really loved the fact you filled in a form for what you want for breakfast and what time you’d like it. Owners were very accomodating and made sure we were well fed and watered and made out ferry check in time. Would definately stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Ayr. Perfectly located on a quiet street

Pros: The location is very good right next to sea front and few minutes from town centre. The building is older style and the furnishings are suited to the property. The beds are very comfortable and it was very quiet so we all had a good nights sleep. You need to get there early for parking outside property or you have to park further down the road. It was fine for one night and the breakfast was very nice.

Cons: the décor is a bit dated and there was a bit of dust in the room too. We also found a toe nail in the bed but the sheets were clean. The bathroom was next to the room so you had to come out the room to go to bathroom but it was not shared.

7.9 Good
Pros: The location was ideal. And the bed and pillows were really comfortable.
Cons: Room 2, It wasn't a sea view as advertised. The shelf in bathroom needs fixing as does the toilet roll holder, both loose. No explanation that you needed a permit for parking or that the keys given out were for front door as well as your room, had to ask where the room was. It's 2x single beds pushed together not a large double as advertised so you could feel the join. 1x bathrobe instead of 2. The free toiletries needed replenished. All small things really but attention to detail does make a difference. Certainly not 4 star.

Cons: Fantastic for a short stay. Perfect location for the train, just 5 min walk from the station. Also, right innthe middle of Ayr and Prestwick. Landlady is great ans so nice. If I had to criticise I would say that the Wifi needs upgrading. Almost non existent. For me it was a big problem but maybe not for others!
