Hour wait in line to sign papers/get car assigned. I’m not sure if they were having computer issues or what . There was a super long line with five or six people behind the counter, but only two to three helping people. Then another 20 min wait to get the car delivered. First car they brought had maintenance and tire light on. They asked if I wanted a different one??? The other guy said that car needs to be taken out of service. He then gives me a Chevy Malibu that had two dings in the hood and some marks on the driver side door and window frame. They told me to take pictures and hold on to them for 30 days and made note on the paperwork. Overall a very frustrating experience. Not an efficient system. Not sure I’ll rent from them again. In the past, with other companies, I sign paperwork and am told which car to get in parking lot.Reviewed 24 Jul. 2023

Once fees and insurance (which is often required) is added in, the cost is about double what I was quoted. Also, the line at the rental car booth at JAX airport was insane. Had to wait in line for 1hr 20min, which was a very frustrating experience. Didn't have any issues with the car itself though.Reviewed 9 Jun. 2023

Our Flight from Connecticut to Jacksonville was two and a half hours. It took us a hour and fifteen minutes in line just to get to the counter . Then we were directed to the garage, to pick up the car, There we stood for another hour and a half waiting for our car! That's a total of THREE HOURS waiting!!!! It took us two and a half to fly, but three hours to collect a car that we had reserved months ago. BUDGET HAS NO HELP At ANY COUNTERS!! We also found they DO NOT CARE about any customers! it took 1 hr 20 min waiting in line to get checked in then told to wait 15-20 min car was being cleaned. Car rental took longer than flight. The staff was processing quickly but so many people and only one line for Avis, Budget and Payless combined. Return was very quick.Reviewed 26 Mar. 2023

It was a holiday weekend so it was very busy for my pickup but the car was very clean but needed a wheel alignment and balancing very badly because over 55mph the car shook badly to the point my husband kept telling me to slow down so the car doesn’t break down. I know there is a large volume of use out of a car rental therefore keeping up with maintenance of the vehicles is heavily recommended. Otherwise would use them again.Reviewed 22 Feb. 2023

I am not exaggerating when I say they made us and many others wait 2 hours to bring the car around. We finally just got a different car because it was taking so long and absolutely no one was helping us out. I called Budget customer service and all they couldn't do anything for us. DO NOT USE JACKSONVILLE BUDGET CAR RENTAL.Reviewed 14 Feb. 2023
