Great service, got the car I reserved. It was clean. Note that if you have CDW insurance coverage on your credit card and plan on using that (and not purchasing theirs), you must provide the written proof from your credit card company upon picking up the car. Otherwise, they won't rent their vehicle. They're also off site a few KM away from EDI airport. They have a free shuttle, but you must allow an extra 30 minutes in your plans especially if you return the car and fly out. Dropping off the car after hours no one let us know that we needed to pay an additional fee. Also, we had to drop it off at a nearby gas station, however the attendant there had no idea what we were talking about. After arguing with him for ages, making us late to get to the airport, he finally contacted his manager who explained the car return process to him and we were able to drop off the car.Reviewed 25 Oct. 2022

We had to delay our pickup of our rental car since the streets were all blocked off in Edinburgh (due to the Queen at St. Giles Cathedral). The gentlemen at the Easirent Edinburgh were so easy to work with and really understanding when we had to make changes to our plans due to the Queen's presence in the city. When we finally picked up our vehicle on Wednesday, the process was smooth and they had it all ready for us. We had a great experience with Easirent.Reviewed 30 Sep. 2022

This car rental branch will pursue even the tiniest scratch that would be considered normal wear and tear at most locations. Though their initial price may be cheap, do not be fooled as they will get their money on the back end. I was charged 365 pounds for one scratch less than an inch in length underneath the bottom frame of the door and a scuff on the boot from pulling suitcases in and out. I also witnessed two other customers being given the same shakedown treatment for damage. My worst car rental experience in 35 years. I feel sorry for anyone who has an actual damage incident. I will be escalating my concerns with Easirent corporate and the appropriate authorities.Reviewed 1 Sep. 2022

It appears, unless the rental car company was lying to me, that I was scammed by Priceline or kayak for £214. The answer will be found by figuring out who pocketed this money. When I picked up my car I was told my booking company had added a mandatory but undisclosed until check-in CDW charge on the invoice. This showed up as "CDW FOR USA EXC" when we find out who pocketed this money we will know the scammer was. I spent more than an hour on the phone trying to straighten this out with Priceline. How kayak is booking cars through Priceline doesn't make sense to me. It's time to get some answers.Reviewed 7 Jul. 2022

The office isn't great but also looked like it was under renovations. Pick up was quick and easy, options laid out well. I was prepared with documents. Opted for full coverage. (less than 150) had a flat without a spare however they quickly put me in touch with dispatch and secured a service provider who replaced the tire (for a charge). I provided the receipt when I returned the car and they refunded me within a 7-10 days.Reviewed 31 May 2022
