They helped me get home after the Southwest Christmas meltdown. The receiving lot dinged me for a small windshield chip. I don’t know if it happened on the trip, but I sure don’t remember a hit. Will never use Kayak or Hertz again. Booked rental car in two separate locations after location one called and said they were out of cars. Booked and received confirmation from another location only to arrive and be told they had no cars.Reviewed 28 Feb. 2022

We were supposed to pick up the vehicle at 9:30 am. Someone called at 7:30 am and left a voicemail saying no vehicles were available even though the website showed otherwise. We were checking out of our hotel in just a few hours and this left us high and dry. Never again will I give my business to Hertz.Reviewed 16 Sep. 2021

Pros:The first car smelled like smoked and I was able to quickly get another car.Cons:I called a couple of days before mentioning I wouldn’t be able to pick up the car till the next day. As I wouldn’t be able to park the rental anywhere for the night. I asked if the charges would be the same and the person I spoke to said they would be able to fix the charges once I got there. The person I spoke to said they would make a note of it. Once I get to Hertz the person who is present says there isn’t a note. The person isn’t pleasant as I try to figure out what is going on. I am charged the same amount as if I picked it up the night prior. Overall experience at hertz lacked customer service.Reviewed 21 Jul. 2020
