The rental location isn’t where it says it is on apple maps or Google maps, the extra fees for being under 25 are extortionate for told it would be 28 euro a day for 3 days ended up costing me 258 euro for the 3 days nearly more than triple what I was originally told. There was no explanation as to how the drop off would happen it was simply a case of here’s your keys and here’s your car. The car itself I could not fault worked perfectly and was a pleasure to drive. The staff I spoke to were friendly enough I feel as though it is the system in which they use that is to blame.Reviewed 1 Nov. 2022

The car was not greatPros:I liked the staff at Hertz very attentive and explained everything.Cons:The price changed based on booking. It was supposed to be 86 euro and ended up to be 228 because of insurance. I chose insurance on the booking and the agent said i didnt. so seemed weird. I was too tired to argue. The car had a bad clutch and really going go up hill with out a running start. again i was too far and too tired to argue. I just dealt with it. Typically this is why i dont like renting like this. but when they have you over a barrel.Reviewed 7 May 2018

Pros:NothingCons:I was never able to pick up the car due to the car station did not accept my credit card. The car rental should explain prior to the reservation the credit card that tey accept, so that the costumer could make a proper selection. Therefore, dont waste time and money!!!!Reviewed 3 May 2018

Not the car we paid for & the wait time was 2 hours.Pros:Intentionally left blank.Cons:The Hertz experience for us was not good. We arrived just before our scheduled pick up time of 9:00AM and waited 2 hours for our car. There wasn't a line or anything. We were told that they had to get the car from the airport to this Hertz location, however the airport is only 15 minutes from our Hertz location. Additionally, we signed up for a Fiat Panda but the only car Hertz had was almost the size of a mini van - not the car we wanted to be driving through the narrow Positano roads in. Overall, I do not recommend this Hertz location due to the wait time and the car we received. Also, there is a $360 pending charge on my credit card which should absolutely not be the case. We better not be charged more than what we signed up to pay for getting a bigger car because we absolutely did not want a bigger car.Reviewed 24 Sep. 2017

Almost perfectPros:The car was great, clean, full of gas and perfect size for our trip.Cons:After getting off a 9 hour flight we had to wait an hour and a half in line to pick up the car. And after we picked it up we then had to wait anther15 min in line to have them sign the sheet saying there was a lot more damage then recored on the vehicle.Reviewed 23 Sep. 2017
